Close to Mesa College and Rose Donuts in Linda Vista, I love coming to Mesa Pizza for large quantities of pizza for hosting parties. I usually call ahead to get the manager's special, which is around $30 and comes with 3 pizza, soda and bread. The pizza is nothing fancy. With the manager's special, you can choose one topping and I ended up with pepperoni because it's a classic that you can't get wrong. It's a small business hosted by a modest man. There are no seats inside but there are some seats outside. They don't sell pizza by the slices but one personal pizza is around $10 but I personally come here for the quantity and value I need to host parties of more than 10. Parking: There is usually parking in the plaza that they share with Rose Donuts and K Sandwiches Price: $ Recommendations: Manager's Special that comes with 3 pizza, garlic bread and a litter 9; soda for $30 read more

Best pizza in San Diego for both the price and the taste in my eyes. If you're like me you want a pizza that goes with anything, and this is the quintessential take out pizza of your dreams. The hawaiian and the pepperoni are particular standouts. I also prefer it after its cooled down just a bit, and the cheese is a little more solid, basically the time it will take you to get home or like 5 minutes and then its perfect. Amazing value and service, and a fun neighborhood atmosphere. Support local pizza, support Mesa pizza! read more

Their wings were meaty and tasty! Also ordered the cheese bread and that was also good. Recommend to call in your order or you'll have to wait for a bit. read more

I tried calling seven times to place an order. It got no answer. When I went in, I asked if the phone was down and they said yes then I was told it would be 10 to 12 minute wait which is fine but then as I was waiting, the phone rang minutes later and the guy took someone's order right in front of me. Seems like their phone is working fine. I don't know what they have against me. I won't be coming back. I've been coming here for years unfortunately. Then when I got home, I realized they forgot the extra sauces that I paid for I supported this place cause I thought it was a small business, but they have dry mediocre pizza at best. Frozen pizza is better than this place. read more

It's an affordable place to grab a bite to eat . It's a local place and easy to get , I would say the quality of food should meet the standard price . The large pizza one topping $8 should be $4.69 The garlic bread should be renamed to pita bread with essence of garlic for $1.99 instead of $3 the splitting of the bread sticks isn't splitting . I've visited this place prior to inflation , covid . Today I decided to finally add my review . read more

Who can miss the sign beckoning you to come in and get a large one topping pizza for $5.99?!? Seriously, it's a good deal... but is it too good to be true? Actually it is true! While my pizza with pineapple (oh yes... I am a pineapple on pizza lover! Team pineapple forever!) was actually very large and cheesy, it was also pretty greasy. Nothing I wasn't expecting. Also the sauce could be a bit heavier and less sweet. For the price? It's a great deal and I was able to get at least two meals out of it! If you saw a woman in a very dirty SUV driving with one hand and dipping pizza in ranch with the other then you might have seen me! I wish they had online ordering and I also wish a side of ranch wasn't $1. Considering the price of the pizza $1 is kinda a bit much. Should be .50 but then I am still reeling from how expensive things have become... Anyway, decent pizza for the price and ordering was very quick. Took like 10 mins and my pizza was in my hot little hands! read more

Mesa Pizza - Pineapple pizza Large for $5.99 - Pizza Near Me - San Diego, California

I love this local pizza joint! Reasonably priced, their pizza was pretty good. We always come here when we want a quick pizza fix. :)

The food was SOOO worth it! I needed to order 3 pizzas to feed some volunteers and they were quick with the order and volunteers were satisfied with the food. There was no sitting room inside, they have about 3 tables outside. read more

I was in the Mesa Pizza parking lot because I was going to K's Sandwiches. And in fact, I had actually already purchased my bahn mi. But when I saw the $6 for a one topping pizza special in the window, I had to stop and get that as well. Who needs just one carb for dinner when you can have two? Honestly, it's not the best pizza I ever had, but for the price I thought it was pretty darn good. The sauce it a little light, but I tend to have marinara on hand at home that I can use for dipping. And the toppings and cheese were present in good amounts. Overall decent flavor and pretty good crust. Plus there's enough food for two if you don't need to stuff yourself. With the prices of food these days, I am super impressed by Mesa Pizza. I won't be driving out of my way to get it. But next time in the area, I'll probably stop and grab another of this awesome deal. read more

It's decent for the price. For $5 you can get a large cheese or pepperoni pizza. The wait time is usually 10 minutes. Mesa Pizza offers several other great specials as well. The Value Meal is perfect for my family. It's a 2 large 1 topping pizza, Garlic Bread + Sauce, and a 2 liter soda. It cost $12.99. It's in the same strip mall as K's Sandwiches and at the opposite end of Rose Donut. There are tables outside of the pizza shop if your really hungry and need to eat ASAP. Other reasons I'm a fan: - Free Parking - Good Service - Great Price! read more

Terrible food, even worse service. Crust was stale likening had sat out all day. Not worth the price at all.

A large pizza for $6? Not too bad. This place isn't gonna have ur best/highest quality slices but if you're tryna budget, why not get it? The pizza itself was pretty good! Definitely fills you up and something you'd expect from a fast pizza place. Apparently it's similar to Lil Caesars but i haven't had that place. Cons to this place is that there isn't too much sauce on the pizza, and the crust was a bit doughy. Pros is well... ITS $6. Id prob go for this again if i'm tryna budget read more

I prefer this pizza place over all other 'fast pizza' places. Super consistent, I think it's delicious considering it's $5 and fast! It's a little greasy but I don't mind it, I just dab the top a little and perfect. Definitely recommend if you want fast, tasty pizza! read more

Mesa Pizza - Pizza Near Me - San Diego, California

Mesa Pizza is a place that you want to love so bad. It is obviously locally owned and appears to be invested in the community. In addition to that, they have good deals, like a $5.99 large 2-topping pizza. So, we decided to try them out and see if they were buzz-worthy. Unfortunately, this pizza missed the mark. There was hardly any sauce on the pizza, which was a major issue. We were wondering if we accidentally ordered a "white" pizza. The lack of sauce made the pizza taste bland and almost like cardboard. You have to understand - I will eat annnnnny pizza - Grocery Store Pizza, Domino's, Papa John, gourmet, etc. I like it all. This pizza looked like it was put together in a hurry and was not quality controlled at all. Cafeteria lunch pizza in elementary school was better than this - mainly because of the grease factor, but I digress. At the end of the day, the price was nice, but not for this lackluster pizza. We won't be trying this again. I'd rather shell out a little more and hit up Bronx pizza...or even one of the chains. read more

Large pizza up to 5 toppings for $11.99 is a sweet deal! Ordered large pepperoni extra cheese with half olives and mushrooms. Added some Buffalo wings too. Pizza was pretty tasty. Wings were saucy, not dry. Would def come by here for more pizza again. Phone ordered and was ready in 15 mins. Removed one Yelp star because although we were able to order diff toppings for each half, I opened the box and it was more of a third olives and mushrooms and 2/3 pepperoni...haha. Should have took a pic to illustrate this but my starving self was hungry. TY Mesa Pizza! read more

Fast friendly and cost efficient. Less than ten with tax on a large with extra cheese and pepperoni. Ordered for pick up and the guy said ten minutes. Lady rang me up and was friendly. The pizza was hot. The crust was ok. Not too thin but not overly doughy. Everything tasted fresh but the grease was plentiful. Hurt my tummy a bit when the same order generally doesn't elsewhere. It's definitely good pizza. Not amazing and for the price and service it's just good overall. Try it out read more

I placed an order for two pepperoni pizzas, two olives and mushroom pizzas, two Hawaiian pizzas, two cheese pizzas, two cheesy breadsticks, and two orders of wings for a grand total of $145.32. However when they charged me, it was 4 Hawaiian pizzas at $10.24, but only purchased 2 Hawaiian. The pepperoni, Hawaiian and mushroom with olive pizzas were decent. However, the two cheese pizzas were overcooked and dry. The cheesy breads were also pretty tough and dry. The service was horrible, no pleasant customer service or greeting when you go in. Because sure seem like he was upset because I had arrived to pick up the order. I took the complete order to the vehicle and went back in to ask for two side ranch dressings because they had only given me two for the wings, and I ordered the largest set of wings that they had. They were about to charge me and I asked if I could get those for free. The answer was no. I would think an order of $145 two free ranch dressings wouldn't hurt anything, but I was wrong. I'll have to look for a different place to purchase pizza. Lastly, they did not have any paper plates, napkins, chili flakes,, or Parmesan cheese with this large order. Probably won't be coming back, I I'll look for a different place that would at least give me minimal chili flakes, Parmesan cheese, packets, and napkins. read more

I ordered the large pepperoni pizza and paid about $7.50 with card and when I got the pizza it seemed more like a medium than a large. In total was 8 slices of pizza. Not that much cheese or sauce. I've passed by Mesa Pizza multiple times whenever I go to K Sandwiches which is in the same plaza. I have always noticed the sign that mentions the $5 Large Cheese Pizza. My co-workers and I finally decided to give it a try on Friday. A large comes with 8 slices and it was enough for the 3 of us. The pizza wasn't bad, for $5 you can't really complain. While we were inside I noticed the multiple deals they have going on. For $2.99 you can get the lunch special with 2 slices of pizza and a soda. They also have a $30 deal with 5 Large Pizzas and 3 Large Liters of Soda. It's way cheaper to buy your pizza here instead of Costco if you're throwing a party. Overall, not bad pizza for the price you pay. I'd probably come back again for lunch. read more

Boyfriend and I moved in next to this complex almost a month ago and we've bought a pizza from here at least four times already. I'm not ashamed. Have a party to go to? Mesa Pizza for your party needs. You're broke a** b*tch, but still want pizza? Mesa Pizza has ur back gurl. You feel like eating junk food/comfort food? Stop by here; pick up a box and have zero regrets. Forget Little Caesar's - this is your new best friend. There are currently no photos of said pizzas I've eaten because I've literally devoured all of them upon arrival to my hands. Ask my boyfriend. He can vouch. I highly recommend the large 5-topping pizza for $10.00. It is a little mom n' pop, "hole-in-the-wall," "hidden gem," scenario. Most of the time, it's manned by one or two people. I have a lot of respect for them and they are my new Pizza Heroes (sorry, Domino's). Honestly, it's bad that I live so close to here, but all hail the 'Zzzaaa regardless. read more

I ordered a Pepperoni Pizza 15mins in advance only to show up at 8:10pm PST (Opened Business Hours) to be told that the Pizza I had ordered has been sold & that they're closing now. When trying to understand why the Food I ordered is in someone else's Hands. Thankfully, I never paid. It's a small little pizza spot in the corner beside k sandwiches. I by chance happened to see it. They have a large $6.99 (1 topping pizza). I don't usually go buying things from places I've never been to. Since I saw people outside eating a pizza I thought I'd give it a try. I purchased a large pepperoni pizza. Their special. I can say I was a little scared lol. But after all, it was in my opinion better than Little Caesar's. It wasn't too exaggerated on the cheese. It was like the perfect ratio of cheese and sauce. For $6.99 I can't really complain. But I'd prefer a tad bit more pepperoni. But like I said for the price I think it's a Deal! We also purchased 2 soda cans. $1.50 each. I will stop by again. read more

For 5 bucks I got what they called a large pizza I had no complaints. It only took about 6 min to arrive. It had just enough cheese pepperoni and sauce. The server wasn't overly friendly but not unfriendly. He did talk back when I engaged him in conversation. It's a small shop with reasonable prices and s decent pizza. I've been there several times and haven't been disappointed. I do reccomend them if you're in the area hungry for pizza and a little short on cash. read more

If you want to eat at this place make sure you bring own plates and cups. Went to this place on my way somewhere and planned on eating there. I asked for plates and the young man said they didn't have and and then I asked for cups for the 2 liter I purchased and the young man offered to sell me cups and when I voiced how it doesn't make sense to sell cups when they are selling 2 liters for purchase. He recommended I go across the street to the gas station. Would not recommend. The pizza was like cheese sticks not much sauce but good which I understand not everyone likes sauce. So that's why I gave them any stars. The bbq wings are spicy, which I wasn't expecting. Also the marinara sauce for the bread "in theory garlic" was refrigerator cold. Do not recommend read more

Only giving 3 stars because they tried to charge me twice since I paid with cash initially. I asked for ranch and they tried to charge me $1 for a little bit of ranch. We have found this hidden gem of a place when we moved into the area a year ago. Right next to T-Mobile, where K-sandwiches used to be. $5 one topping pizza, and then some. Much better that Little Caesar's Pizza who has the $5 dollar pizza's that have been sitting there for so long... This place is fresh, simple and honest. We have ordered from here at least once a month when the kids have friend over for sleepovers because its cheap enough for each kid to get their own or share. On another note, tonight is the first time there was an error. They got one pizza wrong, we called and they were AWESOME in their response. They corrected the pizza and complimented us with a cheesy bread. Quite simple: Simple cost, simple pizza, great quality and customer service. read more

This is the remake since the first one I got was stone cold. Looked like they took an old pepperoni pizza, threw some bacon on it and handed it to me. Which would explain how they got it done in under 5 minutes. I called in while I was already on Linda Vista Rd. I saw the clock and it was under 5 minutes, and when I got there it was already boxed and sitting waiting for me. I complained and they gave me this burnt one. Who knows, maybe they took my old one and just put it back in the oven. I used to love this place, but I think it's going downhill. Am I supposed to go back for a 3rd try on the same pizza? FYI, those black bits in the pic are what they are calling bacon, but they just taste like charcoal. read more
