We dined in mid day upon arrival in the city. It is just outside the super touristy area (by a block), where you find a nice mix of locals and tourists. With a vast tapas list compared to other places, the variety was perfect. We tried several dishes, but our clear favorite was the Elvis Burger, followed by the spring rolls with shrimp. Honestly everything was delicious. As with many restaurants in Spain, there are two service hour windows, mid day, then again for dinner starting around 8pm. In between, you can order drinks, but no food. Give this place some love if you're in town. Both indoor and outdoor dining available. Service was fantastic.

We ordered five tapas dishes to share between us. Everything was served rather quickly after ordering. The dishes we tried were: patatas bravas, pork tenderloin, shrimp tacos in a lettuce wrap, another pork dish with mashed potato and quinoa, and salmorejo. While everything we had was absolutely delicious, the salmorejo (an Andalucian chilled soup specialty) and the two pork dishes were standouts. Service was friendly and efficient.

Unfriendly, curt, brusk service. As soon as we sat down and our waitress came she was in a hurry to…read moreget our order and seemingly run away. She seemed to be only one of 2 waiters there and there were also a few tables full outside. But we were the only customers inside. So we initially overlooked her behavior as being busy. No big deal. Then the food came out and one dish after another that was a salad or came with a salad was brown. Half the salad was brown and wilted. But, we could not get her attention as we were in the back room. And when another table filled up back there she was in such a rush that we could not flag her down to tell her about the wilted salad. So we ate around the brown salads. And when we were able to get her attention we told her that the lettuce and salad were not fresh. She took a micro second to look at it as she was running out the room and repeated "La lechuga no es fresca?" While she was running out the room. And never came back to inquire if we wanted another salad or a replacement. That was it. You take it or leave it apparently. I must say there were some really good dishes that we ordered. The ox tail and pig trotters were soft and well seasoned. But the grilled Iberian pork and grilled chicken had ZERO seasoning. Just plain and rubbery. Maybe that's the way it is. Maybe not. But there was zero taste. However we were able to salvage most of the plates by dunking the meat pieces in the pork trotter sauce. And we were all hungry and just wanted to be done and out of there. We left 75% of our salad and various lettuce from other plates, as we picked our way through the brown stuff, in order to not waste more food than needed. We also hoped somebody back in the kitchen would realize that most of the greens had not been touched. But there was no word by the end of dinner and we quickly paid and left. We passed the waitress on the way out and there was not a single word out of her mouth. We even had to pay at the bar and that guy also did not say a single word. I have been an Elite Yelper for 7 years and I have only written 2 other reviews of less than 4 stars. I don't want to hurt anybody's business. I figure a bad restaurant will eventually put itself out of business. But, this is the third time in my life that I'm writing up a less than 4 star review. Bc they deserve it. The 1 star is for the wonderful decor and 1/3 of the dishes that were very good. It really is a pity. We were expecting so much more from the experience-our last meal together in Spain before going home tomorrow. Unfortunately, 2 out of 7 of us had to go hungry (they didn't touch their food and the rest of us had to eat half their plates for them) and go elsewhere for food afterwards. Really a shame. We're staying just down the street from it and were looking forward to staying at the bar and drinking afterwards. The poor service and food made us run out of there.

Terrible service, terrible microwaved food, nice ambience. We really wanted to enjoy this…read morerestaurant as we were staying very close to it. But it turned out to be such a disappointment. The waitress treated us like we were bothering her, from the time she took our order. All the greens were half brown. All the food was like warm. The "grilled" meats were clearly microwaved and barely warm. But we couldn't get her attention and we were all very hungry so we managed to eat most of it, but left all the greens and salads. When we finally managed to get her attention she merely glanced at the greens and huffed as if offended, clearly irritated but made no attempt to remedy the situation. Such a disappointment. We probably would've left it alone if it was just bad food. But the bad service really pushed it over the edge. You have no right to treat customers in such a manner, especially when your food sucks. Clearly a tourist trap. They don't have to cater to any repeat customers. Only customers who visit once in a lifetime. And there's a sucker aka new tourist every minute. You have been forewarned.

Many tapas focused on uncooked proteins like tartare and ceviche, and I wasn't I interested in those. The taco was mostly diced onion and red bell pepper. The shrimp tempura was nice with a spicy sweet and sour sauce. The shrimp, potatoes, and mango salad was unsurprisingly mild. The pork with gorgonzola sauce was very fatty and boring, as if they forgot the gorgonzola.

The restaurant is beautifully done with an industrial aesthetic that feels effortless yet edgy. The kitchen is elevated and open so you can watch the food being meticulously prepared by the chefs. The service was outstanding, every server was attentive to all of our needs and requests. The chef came and spoke with us at our table about dietary restrictions, and even customized a few dishes for us. The ingredients spoke for themselves: fresh and of the highest quality, the flavors in the food were top-notch. I see that some other reviewers have had some issues, but for us everything was perfect. This was not only the best food we had in Sevilla, but also ranks amongst the best food we had in over two weeks in Spain. The only complaint I have is that there is not an Umami in Los Angeles so we can enjoy this more often! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable, delicious restaurant in Sevilla. Bonus points for being so centrally located!

Delicious Italian - no matter your dietary restrictions!…read more I came here after reading reviews and seeing from the menu that they accommodate dietary restrictions. I have to be gluten-free and dairy-free, but I still had a good meal here! Their menu is available in Spanish or English and they use symbols to denote vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. I'm not sure why it's not marked on the menu, but I'd seen a review that their gnocchi is the gluten-free pasta option, so I asked about it when we got there. If you're gluten-free, mention it and ask about gluten-free gnocchi (not sure if all their gnocchi are gluten-free or if it's different). They have two vegan pasta options and three gnocchis, but they're good so if you have any dietary restrictions I'm sure you'll still enjoy what you have here. What we ordered: -Mediterranean Salad: Spring mix with tomato, raisins, and Gorgonzola (subbed vegan feta - I think they use Violife which is good) with a red pepper vinaigrette. It had an interesting mix of flavors, but I would've preferred the tomatoes to be incorporated into the salad (I think it was more form over function), possibly using a San Marzano tomato sliced in halves would've been better. Pine nuts and or bits of olive could've complemented the flavor too. It was nice to have something fresh to go with the meal. The dressing was light but nice and tangy. It was decently large so we shared it as a side salad for both (large for a side for one). -Gnocchi Gorgonzola: This is what my mom ordered, so it isn't dairy-free, but she enjoyed it! -Gnocchi Pesto Pugliese: I ordered this. It's vegan and gluten-free (I said gluten-free gnocchi, but again, not sure if all the gnocchi is gluten-free or it was different). The gnocchi was doughy but not too mushy and the sauce was light with little bits of crushed almond and pine nuts throughout. Sort of like a sundried tomato pesto. It was good and I was happy to have an option, but it was a bit simple so I added some of the vegan feta from our salad and bits of the complementary olives to it to add more flavor. I think it could have used the extra cheese, larger bits of nut to add more texture, or Italian sausage crumbles (obviously this wouldn't be vegan, but if I were to remake the dish at home). You're just missing something crispy and textured or a richness. If you're dairy-free or vegan and need an option, it's nice to have this. The gnocchis were generous and we each took home half our portion as leftovers. If I didn't have dietary restrictions, we could've shared one along with the salad. They have a good selection of Spanish wines available by glass or bottle. We didn't have a reservation but were seated immediately. The staff was very nice and it was a nice environment.

Knowing we were going to eat a lot during a food tour, we settled on some small tapas (ham, cheese, bread, and olives) and got some sangria and a beer. I came here due to a yelp recommendation because like most westerners unaccustomed to the Spanish way of living I was hungry at about 7 pm and needed something to eat. Yay yelp to the rescue. The place was crowded and there were no seats available when I arrived. There were many small groups congregated around tables and a few couples as well. It isn't obvious how to proceed once you come in the door so I probably stood there awkwardly for a few minutes near the door before making my way to the bar to what looked to be a vacant seat. A gentleman informed me that it belonged to his girlfriend so I was forced to now stand awkwardly next to the bar. Bar tender to the rescue explaining that if I waited he was pretty sure someone would leave soon and I could order a drink while I waited. I ordered a sangria and also inquired about food but was told that I need to have an actual seat in order to order food. After nursing my drink for about 20 mins when I was about to pay and head out to find somewhere else to eat, a spot finally opened up and I was treated to the most delicious steak and potatoes and zucchini tapas. This had to be one of the most delicious things I have eaten on this vacation. When I finally vacated my seat to save a pair of new arrivals, there was a line outside of people waiting for the opportunity to eat here. I might chance it again before I leave Seville. I highly recommend for the food and friendly waiters but wish there was a way to turn seats over more quickly. One guy kept insisting he was saving his girlfriend's seat but in the 90 mins I spent there she never showed up. Who knows if she ever existed. Bread comes free with your tapas order and really complimented the meal.
