The establishment does not let you in for free with military ID anymore. I guess the star goes down :(

I have been going to Millyard Strength and conditioning for 9 months and couldn't be happier…read more The trainers are great. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. All the members are very friendly and welcoming. The trainers have personally worked with me in both the group exercise classes and semi personal training sessions to make sure that I am doing my exercise correctly. They analyze and adjust my diet as needed to make sure that I am eating correctly to maintain my fitness routine and achieve my fitness goals. The facility is perfect. Large and open for group classes, great outdoor space for outdoor activities (weather permitting)and plenty of parking. I have gone to the $10 or $20 per month gyms, and you do not get the personal attention that you get here. At the other guns, no one is there to make sure that you are doing your workout and/or exercises correctly. No one is there to give you nutritional advice. They don't have the personal, community atmosphere that you get here in both the group classes and strength training sessions. I highly recommend Millyard Strength and conditioning. I have lost weight and have become stronger with the help of everyone at Millyard Strength and conditioning. I have never felt better than I do today. My only regret is that I didn't join them years ago.

I usually give credit where credit is due, but not today. I was at the Amherst Planet Fitness, and…read moreall in all, it was a good experience and workout, with limited stereotyping going on. I train six days a week and try hitting a different gym each time. I am usually stereotyped 2 to 3 times a week, but that's a different story--none today, though--until I went to use the Black Card amenities. I got to the counter, and the older female worker was conversing with another member. No big deal. I scanned my tag, scheduled a session, and stood there while they talked about their personal lives for five minutes. She saw me at the counter but seemed like she didn't care I was there. It became evident when two other members came in, and she immediately tended to them. When she finished, she went back to talking with the guy, completely ignoring the fact that I was still standing there. I would have said something, but it usually goes in one ear and out the other. Needless to say, I left frustrated!!

Planet fitness lets minors sign up for memberships and takes the dues from their account monthly…read morebut won't let them switch their club because they are minors. Even with their parent there with them. A parent was not required to consent to them signing up for a membership - something doesn't seem right here. I've gone to the current club, they tell me to go to the club we want to switch to and the other club tells me the same. Contact planet fitness, they day you can transfer by clicking a link (unless you are a minor) $10 a month wasting away... cancel and rejoin, incur fees, get charged yearly fee again.... Response from business was that anyone 13-17 requires parent consent to sign up - he did it online and no consent was needed. But try to transfer from Nashua to Merrimack and you must have some lawyer consent or some crap because I've gotten nothing but a run around trying to switch his location. Meanwhile that $10 comes out of my minors bank account every month without a hitch

Everyone at CrossFit Earned in Merrimack has been so wonderful and welcoming, they have all gone out of their way to help me feel comfortable. I started out with the 6 1:1 sessions as an intro which helped to acclimate me to the structure of a CrossFit session, start to get the techniques down, understand what some of the workouts are, establish some baselines and help the coaches see where I am starting. Once I finished the intros I integrated into the regular classes and have been doing those for a few weeks now. I can't tell you what CrossFit has done for me in the month or so that I've been going. My stamina & strength has improved, yes, but what I hadn't expected was the (almost immediate) boost to my confidence. Suddenly I am motivated to try other things and put myself out there in lots of different ways. I even walk around my office straighter. Additionally, the stretching has eliminated this years-old hip flexor pain that I thought was here to stay. A couple of weeks of the hip mobility complex and that chronic pain is a distant memory. I am probably one of the oldest and most out-of-shape people at CrossFit Earned, but my experiences with Coach Jen, Coach Troy, Matt and all the people in my classes has been without exception excellent. The workouts kick my butt! But I feel so great, almost high even, afterwards. I just want to keep coming back for more.

I loved the community aspect of this facility, as well as the CrossFit platform to relieve my stagnation. Right now I have to say that it is the best thing I could have done. I'm probably in the best shape that I have ever been in, and I'm 40! The trainers are excellent, and dedicated to addressing individual needs as well as the class as a whole.
