I understand this is cheaper than having to maintain the large inventory of holds required for colored routes but it is very confusing. 2. The crash pads/mats in the bouldering area can be significantly improved. In some cases they hide the lower footholds from routes, they are not flat and in some regions near where they meet the wall they are quite dirty. 3. The V rating in this gym makes little sense. There are some supposedly hard routes that are very easy and some supposedly trivial routes that should have been more highly rated. However, it was still fun to climb and the lady in the cashier was helpful. Though I would suggest explaining to new comers that there is a lower price for bouldering only day pass. Would also suggest making hand lotion available (moisturizer).

I believe we visited on a Tuesday or Wednesday, whichever night it was they had a special an hour of Nerf wars for $20/pp. Our son had a great time in the HUGE (HUUUUUUUGE!!!) bounce area ( it is so big they have CCTV in the back for parents/non-participents to watch from the seating area). They also had a variety of games, which require a pre-paid card, but were all very reasonably priced (0.25 cents to $1.75). The pre-paid card also came with certain deals (load $10 receive $12 credit) and there were a variety of games for a variety of different skill-levels. They had the "play until you win" claw machine too, which is great for kids of all ages. The prize wall was expansive and the prizes were "priced" fairly. It ranged from a few points for candy to thousands of points for larger items. My son was able to get a stuffed animal for around 700 points, and he loves that thing. The area was clean, it was not crowded, parking was plentiful and staff was friendly and approachable. We really loved Xtreme craze.

However, if you are new to the studio do not be expected to know what is going on. It is organized chaos. Also I would not recommend if a child has special needs or learning disabilities. Staff does not take the time to listen and take into consideration the needs of the student with the teacher. When asking questions they are unable to answer the question from staff and the teacher does not know. It is a revolving door for the studio to make money and to have enough bodies in there without taking into consideration those who may not be apart of their dance team.

It's in a great location right across from the mall and just ten minutes from where I stay when I come back in town. I previously checked out the Littleton location so I was very excited to see that this one just opened up. Looks like they offer a variety of classes, meetups and events (ie lights out climbing) too. The pricepoint seems a bit steep, given its size- I have been to larger gyms that don't charge as much (especially if you only want to boulder, but the option to autobelay gives you a little more variety). I enjoyed the bouldering set though; I think they recently had a competition because the normal V grades were hidden under a tag for a majority of the climbs. And they provide communal liquid chalk which is definitely a plus. Staff was nice and helpful, they pointed out some more interesting problems to me which I appreciated. They have a decent traditional strength and training area as well, plus a kilter board. The restrooms are very clean and they have a great oversized walk-in shower.
