It is bright and cheery and recently updated in mid 2025. It's his favorite place to go. Katy the owner and her team work extremely hard to meet the needs of all who come through her door. There are various reasonably priced classes and open play times. The kids who come in here do not want to leave. Kids laughter echos throughout the place. There is a great safe long trampoline mat, a safe low zip line, they set up blow house play structures, a climbing wall, gym rings ,ball bin, several balance beams, an area of several new play houses and toys. It is a clean place! Wipe downs do occur regularly. Parents and caregivers are free to go around with their child and also enjoy free coffee if they want. .. It is a joyful experience! The space itself is big, with several areas for different classes. All of the equipment is frequently inspected and maintained- when any tape gets worn on an apparatus they remove and repair it. The intro to aerials class gave me confidence on the trapeze, fabric, and Lyra. I've moved onto to level 2, and there are so many other advanced classes for me to chose from! They have extensive policy written up on inclusivity, diversity, and safety - all of which is available for anyone to read on their website at www.showcircusstudio.com. 2) Their teachers care about their students and are highly trained circus professionals. Many of them went through the professional track program at the New England Center for Circus Arts, are members of the professional circus organizations, and are active in furthering their circus education and training both on their own and through the studio. They go through monthly staff training as well as additional off-site trainings to constantly improve their skills and give a high quality, recreational circus education for students of all ages, body types, fitness levels, skill levels, races, economic backgrounds, etc. 3) Show is a recreational space. They don't expect you to do back flips when you walk in the door or even after your finish classes. You progress through a carefully planned out and studio standardized curriculum and are going at your own pace. This means you aren't forced through a leveling up system, but take a class until you're ready to move on to more advanced skills. In this way, your only competition is with yourself. 4) If other reviewers think the space is dirty and poorly organized, I recommend going in and checking out the space for yourself. Chris, the co-owner, does an amazing job of organizing the space along with Henry, the other co-owner. The lobby is GORGEOUS and the studio itself is perfect for recreational circus skills - vibrant colors, clean, and rigged to perfection for easy changes between classes. I'm very impressed. I highly recommend SHOW to anyone, especially to the LGBTQIA community - as SHOW and its staff are strong allies to the community. Sometimes it's so busy in there with various different groups practicing next to each other, but it works. There are viewing windows where parents can sit and watch their kids....or pretend they're watching their kids while they are really looking at their phones. Unfortunately these spots fill up with uninterested parents so that the parents who actually want to watch their kids have nowhere to sit. My daughter has now been here for close to a decade. My sons attended when they were younger, but have since moved on due to their interest change, nothing the gym did. With Seacoast's help, my daughter has grown into a confident competitive gymnast The coaches are patient and continuously look for drills to help the gymnast grow and get through mental blocks. Never once did I feel as if my child was unsafe here. And one should not mistake a stern voice for yelling at the kids. There is a difference. All 3 of my kids love Coach Delaney. She is hardworking and it is obvious she loves what she does. She knows every single kid who walks into the gym's name, even when they're not in her class. She encourages each one to excel and learn new skills. Coach Dom is a sweetheart and one of the team girls' biggest cheerleaders. And very knowledgeable in gymnastics. Everyone who works there is easy to talk to and willing to help if you ask for it. I especially love how patient the coaches are with the girls who can at times get mental blocks with a skill they have, but can't perform, or when they have the potential and are close to getting a new skill. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with my kids. My daughter on team has repeatedly told me she loves her coaches and wouldn't go anywhere else.
