As soon as I attempted to open the door, a man ran over and abruptly slammed the doors closed then opened them and made a rude comment. After apologizing for thinking the doors were broken, he stormed off with an attitude. What I like the most about them is they carry the most delicious, sinful, succulent, desserts, while at the same time having some of the best tasting, healthy snacks you can find anywhere! Also, very important is I think they have the best produce, when compared to all of the other supermarkets. Some of my favorites include their spinach and kale Greek yogurt dip! I couldn't go on a diet without this stuff! Also, any of their little square brownies are to die for! Their maple leaf cookies are really just amazing, and there's so many more. I put some pictures of my favorites here in this review. I really don't like to go shopping, but I always tagalong when we go here! You can tell a lot of the shoppers are there also for the healthy goodness and wholesome ingredients! Highly recommended if you're looking for a place with some exciting selections to spice up the usual boring stuff you find in the grocery store

Specifically people not stopping at stop signs or driving in the middle of the lane. There fuel efficient parking. However, it's not enforced seeing gas guzzlers in there. Leaving to the store. It's pretty good. There is a cheese monger there who I think's name is Mike who is awesome. He has been really helpful and when I've had cheese questions or gone there he is always very friendly, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to talk to. Unlike any other cheese section at whole foods I've been to because of him. Their hot bar is like pretty standard hot bar. Nothing to write home about but nothing that's bad. The pizzas are pretty good, although a large pizza is I would consider a medium. They're fish. Selection is waxed and waned. The last couple times I've gone there has been multiple types of salmon. And the past they've had more varieties of fish. Although they're shellfish selection is pretty good. The last time we were there we ordered a few dozen oysters and they were very good and they gave us size to take them home and which is a plus. Not a bad local whole foods, Worth stopping in if you're local or within a 15-minute drive.

Any Whole Foods Market is a wholesome grocery place where you get anything that's edible from A-Z…read moreand this place falls on the same line as its peers. Parking is a breeze unless you are here on a weekend which might make it tight but you will still find your spot. They offer anything under the umbrella - floral, produce, water refill, meat, bakery, freshly prepared food and even an Amazon Return counter which makes it very convenient for return drop offs. The place is ambient, produce is fresh at all times, checkout including self checkout are smooth and the customer service is impeccable. Amazon Prime members get discounted price with a QR code from the app. Now coming to why I would rate this place a star less- I mostly frequent this place for the water refills and there have been instances when the lines are long due to a spout issue where the water would stream thin or the water service being totally unavailable due to mechanical issues with the system. This is a common problem with the Bridgewater location too and I hope Whole Foods brings about a change to either make it available at all times or bring in some form of notification system for signed up customers.

My comments refer only to the the sweet and chili salmon meal - in the hot meal counter in Whole…read moreFoods in Gowanus Brooklyn (214 3rd St, Brooklyn) The salmon meal used to be a good deal until Sunday March 7, 2026 Before March 7 you were getting 2 small pieces of salmon each around a quarter of a pound with two sides of veggies (half pound) for $14 As of Monday of March 8 the salmon quantity in the meal is cut in half (i.e. you get just one piece) I know that because I buy every day this meal Since the portions now in the meal are much smaller it makes no sense for customers to buy the meal. Instead customers should buy the items separately and pay by weight. This is what I did today : I bought one piece of salmon $7.95 and some carrots $3.33 for a total $11.28 instead of the meal price of $14. ( I have attached today's receipt for reference) Conclusion : If Whole Foods estimates that the prior meal portions are not profitable enough they should either discontinue the meal offer and customers should pay only by weight or they should bring down the meal price to $11. Simply makes no sense to offer a meal option that is more pricey than the sum of the parts unless they believe that customers are stupid

And I still love shopping here…read more Though I'm a Whole Foods fan generally speaking, this one is enormous and carries so much in terms of groceries and beverages. They eliminated delivery service a few years back and as a result, it prevents me from buying as much as I'd like. I can have groceries delivered via Amazon but I prefer shopping in person myself. I particularly like their seafood department as well as the cheese and produce. The nitpick would be that it sits on top the Gowanus Canal which is a cesspool of polluted water and carcinogens. 5 stars for everything else.
