They have such interesting merchandise including an assortment of unique gift cards, maps, pictures, stylish hats, scarves, and rare books to name just a percentage of what they have to offer. The sales associate was very friendly and helpful. He even tried on a hat I wanted to buy my husband and was concerned about the size. He let me know they take returns within 30 days with the receipt and original tagging. Fortunately it fit! This amazing shop is on Main Street which is closed to through traffic. There is free publick parking just down the street at the Museam of Ventura County. It is also in a great location for other speacialty stores and eateries.

I have a small business myself and to me it's more important to provide service to my clients that will support the ongoing relationship and reputation rather than holding rigidly to small print to "protect" a $20 transaction. This store does not hold the same business philosophy that i do. that said, Copperfield's has lost any future business or referrals from my family who have been repeat customers for years.

They are located just slightly further down the harbor past most of the restaurants and tourist shops. Again, not too far but I'm guilty of stopping my walks usually around the point that the main restaurants end. Thankfully this store is still with views of the harbor and they had lots of cute window items to pull me in. The store was darling and it's definitely a fun place to shop. Feels like a great store to find more unique and fun gifts for friends. I was able to find a cute little birthday card with a dirty martini that I snagged for an upcoming birthday. Also while looking through the store I was impressed with their candle selection. I snagged a "sunset strip" candle because I'm a rock n roll girly and it reminded me of home in LA. I came here a couple months ago after getting a recommendation from the owner of a thrift store on Main. I met the owner, Donna, and she was the sweetest! As an avid beachcomber, I was thrilled to hear that she accepted sea glass as currency in her shop. My girls and I came in this past weekend for matching jewelry (it was their birthdays!). We fell in love with the Leyla ring. I can't stop looking at the iridescent abalone shell on mine! We also got adorable swell rings to stack on top and they match PERFECTLY! My best friend got a gorgeous blue two tone sea glass pendant necklace. For jewelry handmade in Bali with genuine hand-picked seaglass and quality metals, the prices were actually very reasonable! Our Sterling Silver Leylas were $24 each. The Swells were $19 each. The gold vermeil sea glass necklace was $62 for the pendant and $20 for the chain. We will definitely be back for more beach treasures!

We were drawn to one specific area, which happened to comprise some of the work of the inimitable G. Ramon Byrne. We spoke with him for some time and viewed, in awe, the art that he has created over the years. What talent, and beauty! I would love to return with my husband after we purchase our first home, in order to pick some pieces that would be lovely either in our home (i.e. pieces for the kitchen!) or outside in the garden/walking area that we both dreams of.
