What an amazing experience it is to dine at O&O. O&O is a michelin starred restaurant in a small…read moretown in the Netherlands. Reservations are required, and it is well worth the short drive from the nearby train station in Breda or even Antwerp, Belgium. Food: O&O focuses on Asian inspired dishes done with French techniques. They meticulously plan menus based on the seasons and what the chefs like to eat themselves. They take inspiration from the places they love to eat at and the places they love to travel from. They were able to plan a vegetarian tasting menu for me to have alongside my friends who had the standard tasting menu. No where along the menu did I feel my vegetarian dish was lacking in comparison to the standard serving. This is an issue I've had at other fine dining establishments. Every dish I had was absolutely amazing and well thought out. We were fortunate that there was both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink pairings available. My friends and I all did the non-alcoholic drink pairing. Every drink alongside our meal was delicious and unique. Service: Service at O&O is impeccable. The staff speaks English, Dutch, and Cantonese. Every dish was brought out well timed. It wasn't rushed, and we weren't waiting too long. However, please note that meals at O&O are an event. The entire dining experience lasts a few hours. With every dish and every drink brought out, it is explained what we were having and additional information about how it came about. It was a wonderful experience. TL;DR - An excellent Asian michelin-starred restaurant well worth the drive to this small town.

As for the food, it seems like just about everyone around us the got the sushi boats. They looked impressive and delicious, but our group opted for the 4 course dinner, which was a great value at 32 euros. There are a few optoins for the starter course, ranging from 3 freshly shucked oysters to soup to sushi. Out table had all 3 optoins, and they were excellent, with the oysters being fresh and light, the soup being very flavroful, and the sushi being a bit more filling but very solid. As for the second course, it was the same for everyone, a beautifully cooked scallop. As for the thrid course, we also had choices, ranging from a super tender filet with wine sauce to a beautifully prepared sea bass. Dessert was fantastic, with a lovely sampler of 4 bites! we had creme burlee, amaretto cookie with a nouse, a warm chocolate cake, and ice cream. Wine prices are also reasonable too. In general, I am leary of places that try to do two things at the same time, but Mood seems to pull it off well, offering great continental fare as well as sushi at a great price.

And by that I mean that it is friendly, attentive, and there when you want it, gone when you don't. We had a sushi-boat, which was a beautiful contraption, with absolutely beautiful fish, and grand desserts. There really isn't that much to say other than that this is about the only thing I would confidently recommend in Eindhoven. The interior is well-decorated too, nice clean white space with typically Dutch/Eindhovish modern designs. Well done people, well done indeed.

It's a small Asian restaurant, only a few tables so when you wanna come in the weekends, you should make your reservation. During the week you can walk in whenever you want, they'll fit you in. I always come here to have Endamame and Sushi Combo A or B (depending with how many people I am). The combo A really hits the spot when you are by yourself or it's just you having sushi. The menu says 18 pcs but trust me... They give a lot more which is awesome! Same goes for the combo B... The bridge is huge and it has over 50 pcs on there i guess. It's also pretty neat that they give you handrolls and tempura shrimp on this combo All by all... one of the better sushi/Asain places 't Zuid has to offer for reasonable prices One tip: in the winter, bring a jacket because there might be possibility there's a small breeze going through the restaurant

Hills & Mills - Very nice and healthy Indian food, we enjoyed it a lot!

My wife and I went there for an early dinner and we were seated in a small back room. The cuisine is Indian and everything is exceptionally fresh. We ordered the "Kebab Assortment", which wasn't at all what we were expecting (no skewers). One was ground beef spiced with coriander, one was lentil and ground beef with spices, the last was egg wrapped in potato. You got two of each of these, a tasty salad and a large basket of fresh-made naan that was some of the best we had ever had. All of the kebabs were tender and very flavorful, and the naan worked well to sop up some of the drippings from the kebabs. To drink we had mango lassi with ginger that was excellent. The service was helpful but slow, and I could not use my US credit card (which doesn't use the European chip and PIN system.) I'd definitely go back again.

To be clear, the neither the food nor the restaurant are traditional Indian, but Indian food is a heavy influence on their menu. The restaurant is a bit more upscale than what I'm accustomed to at many of my favorite Indian restaurants but not so much that it felt snobby; the ambiance was clean, well lit, and tastefully decorated in a modern European style. I'm happy that I looked at the menu in advance online, as they have an English version of the menu on their website but not in the restaurant. I ordered the Nihari Stew, which was a lightly spiced beef stew with some raw(!) diced peppers and onions in it, as well as some fresh seasonings on the side that I could add including hot chilis, a slice of lime, coriander leaves and ginger. I found that the stew was tasty and the beef was well cooked, but the flavor & number of ingredients was a bit more plain/simple that I expected, and beyond the beef, the other ingredients were all raw which didn't seem to be the best complement to a beef stew. I would have liked some cooked vegetables in it. The seasonings on the side didn't seem to be a good match either, though I love those flavors in other foods. It came with a basket of naan wedges; the naan (an Indian flat bread) appears in a lot of menu items, and I found it to be not as soft and fluffy as I expect naan to be, perhaps because it's made with whole grain flour; I would describe it as roti rather than naan. It's not bad, just mislabeled for those of us who are familiar with Indian cuisine. The restaurant has an extensive menu of wines and cocktails, but partly to save money I opted for a mango lassi instead (traditional Indian yogurt drink), which had a hint of seasoning that gave it an unusual flavor (cucumber water? not sure, it was hard to identify), and was thicker than most mango lassi's I've tried, more like a smoothie. All in all I came away from the meal a bit disappointed, as I was expecting it to have more of the aspects of Indian food that I love, but perhaps it's simply an issue of my expectations rather than the food itself. I also felt it was a bit pricey, charging €16 for a main entree, though I know that organic ingredients do cost more, so I felt the cost was enabling them to use high quality, healthy ingredients. It might be a better place for a tasty snack and beverage than a full meal if you're on a tight budget. Note that the only type of card they accept is the Maestro chip + pin debit card, otherwise make sure to bring enough cash to pay for your meal! There is a Rabobank ATM half a block away from the restaurant next to Coffee Company.
