I found that every one I dealt with in the Family Practice office was friendly, knowledgeable and…read morecaring. I saw the doctor 10 minutes early and he was professional and thorough. I have been a patient at FP for10 plus years and have never encountered anything but professionalism.

NO ONE IN THIS PRACTICE actually cares about the patient. NOT even worth the 1 star rating. If I…read morecould give ZERO stars, I would. There is absolutely NO compassion or concern for the patient. The front desk staff are cold and combative. We were on time for our 11:15am appointment and after waiting for 1 hour, the receptionist told us she made our appointment in error. After telling her that was not our fault and we shouldn't be punished, she said we could reschedule for 1:15pm. She also told us the appointments before us arrived late and were still with the doctor. Again, not our fault and we should not have to wait or reschedule. When we explained this was a follow up visit to being hospitalized we asked if we could see another doctor and were rudely told that Dr. Tucker would have to authorize that. When I asked them to do that, they said he was in an appointment and would not interrupt him. That's perfectly understandable, however, we explained to them that my husband's medication prescribed at the hospital was out and he needed a refill that day. They told us they would definitely get the meds refilled that day. When I said "great, let's do that." they said "You will have to see a doctor first." Realizing we were not getting anywhere, my husband decided to go back for the 1:15pm appt. Yet again, he waited OVER AN HOUR before ever seeing the doctor. During the appt, the doctor did not listen to ANYTHING my husband was trying to explain. Instead, he just prescribed meds that my husband has never been on before. After researching these meds, I find out there is a high risk of seizures in adults when taken together. If I could find out that information relatively quickly, you would think a doctor would know this immediately. Of course I had questions for Dr. Tucker regarding the entire appointment. I have left 2 messages for him to call me back, and have yet to hear anything. This practice DOES NOT CARE for the patients. I would highly recommend AGAINST going here for ANY reason, but especially after being discharged from the hospital and actually needing medical assistance. Dr. Tucker doesn't even have the compassion to HELP by returning calls.

I am totally satisfied with the care I receive at Franklin Clinic…read more Dr. Buchanan and his nurses and support staff are always nice and helpful. I trust them with my most important resource which is my health.

No mention of care or what I should do next. I had to call back 3 times to even get anyone with credentials on the phone. when I asked about care and is there anything that can be done, the woman told me that I would need to be reevaluated at urgent care, for the same thing that I originally went to urgent care for. when I asked, "so I have to go to urgent care to get treated for the thing that I went to urgent care for 4 days ago?" she seemed irritated and told me that someone would call me. instead, I received another text telling me that a RX was sent in, but did not tell me what the RX was. I had to call the pharmacy to figure out what i was being prescribed. Tell me you just bill insurance, without telling me you just bill insurance. If you want care and treatment. May I suggest going to Peterson. they treat you like a person and not a walking dollar sign with a billable insurance card. NEVER AGAIN. I was told to go to ER by a Peterson nurse, as they thought it might be a blood clot, now I am scheduled to see an orthopedic surgeon. Far more serious than anything I would have thought, but people at Franklin sure didn't care. Also, those little girls they have running the front need a lesson in manners. (MD's who treat with nutrition and nutritional supplementation rather than Big Pharma Drugs). I've been aware of how dangerous CT scans, Mammograms and X-Rays are for decades. I don't do CT scans, (I opt for Sonograms, MRI's MRA's where there is no radiation instead). Many of my family members and friends get Mammograms, CT Scans and X-Rays and every time they do, I'd have to buy a separate bottle of each supplement that prevents damage from radiation just to have them take one of each. So the rest go to waste because they would be expired by the next time someone needed a CT scan, Mammo or x-Ray. Fortunately, I found Dr. Chene on line and she sells a packet of the supplements needed for one CT scan or other scan that uses X-Rays. Just a one time packet that you take 1-3 hours before your test. THAT is GREAT. It makes it VERY simple and the cost for one pack is $19.00 I contacted her by phone. She is SO knowledgeable in the field of nutrition and supplementation. I know, since I've been researching Nutrition and Supplementation since I was a teen and I am now a senior citizen. I also have the uncanny ability to know when someone is ethical and honest. Please get this mammoGuard pack before your next CT, Mammo or X-Ray to prevent the damage that radiation DOES do to your body. I am in no way, shape or form affiliated or associated with Dr. Chene.
