I had breakfast every morning and it was always clean and full of choices. Internet speed was great. I didn't use the amenities but they do have a gym, business center and bar. I did have dinner at the bistro and YUM! My bed, pillows, etc were spotless. Only thing I didn't like was the bathrooms' configuration... it was too small. Being so far from the city, I wish they had an airport shuttle a couple times a day. I guess if you come here as a business visitor (there are plenty of business around the area), this is a good choice. PS: the manager and duty manager did make me feel special!

Well, compared to it's namesake in Victoria, this one is much better. The lunch menu was filled with many inviting choices, and there was a list of lunch specials available. Once we had ordered our meals, they seemed to take a very long time to be delivered to us, and weren't anything particularly special in relation to taste, nor price. They spent about 30 minutes looking for the other booking. Turns out it was a problem with the website we booked with. Anyways, after about 30 minutes of waiting around in the lobby, they just decided to send us to one of the rooms that we booked to wait instead. They told us that they would come up in 15 minutes to give us the keys to the other room. 45 minutes later...no one comes up. We call reception from the room phone, it somehow goes to another department and we had to be redirected ( aka the tags on the phone were wrong). They tell us they will come up shortly with the keys. Another 15 minutes later, we finally get the keys to the other room. A day later, the internet server dies. We call the reception and they say it will be fixed later that day. Later that day, it STILL is not fixed and then they tell us it will be fixed tomorrow. Tomorrow morning, it is still not fixed and they claim they are working on it. Later that night, it is FINALLY fixed. The facilities are pretty nice, rooms are quite spacious and I like how the office area is apart from the beds so one person can work while the other sleeps. They have a wide range of tv channels. Overall, the only issue I had with this hotel was the initial impression and the internet problem, otherwise, the rooms and other amenities are quite impressive.

The restaurant open for buffet breakfast for $15 (haven't tried it) then the restaurant open from 6 pm to 9 pm for dining in & eating at the restaurant. It could smell a bit of fish in the reception after 7 pm (after serving fish & chips). I came a bit early around 12 pm. The hotel reception kindly checked me in. the internet isn't completely free, there is 100 MB free per 24 hours per room, then if you want pay AU$ 9 per day for unlimited data. There is a parking charges. I guess 15$ per day. The self laundry (where you do your laundry by yourself) 3$ per cycle. The location very short distance from Macquare university (indeed it's on campus) ~ 4-8 minutes to get to most buildings. Very close to Macquare cente and train station around 6 minutes walking. The best thing about this pub is the cook yourself steak. There is a large bbq area which is inside where you cook a steak for $10 and you also get a load of hot chips. There is inside and outside seating. There are a variety of salads that accompany most meals or you can have baked vegetables. There is always a table available during the day and it is a good meeting point. Although there is no parking at the pub you can easily find parking in surrounding streets or opposite is the parking area for Coles and for the Market Centre.

This is positively the worst pub in Sydney plus it's seriously overpriced for the food that they serve. And usually a poor response to customs queries.
