She took me to her office where she spent 30 minutes telling me I was fat. And then presented me with the program. To lose weight you must pay $697 dollars for blood work and to talk to the doctor. And then weekly fees after that to see the doctor and the nutritionist PLUS the cost of their boxed meals. Which they call "meal replacements " To lose weight you must buy their food which is not even regulated by the food and drug department. it's 29.99 a box for 7 meals. An average person would easily spend $300.00 a month at least on these boxed meals that you add water to. There is nothing "medical " about this. It's high pressure sales and eating boxed meals. It's not healthy or nutritious. Studies show it won't work for the long term weight management either. I'm going to stay with my actual medical doctor suggestion and eat healthy foods and exercise and continue my weight loss journey the correct way. This place preys upon your emotions and makes a ton of money off boxed food. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Then I was lucky enough to be trapped in a office with her for 30 minutes listening to the sales pitch and smelling the cigarette smoke. She asked me highly inappropriate and very personal questions. They did no testing for testosterone or other hormones that may be affecting bone health. I came to regain with the anticipation I would be in good hands. I should have been skeptical with the recommendation as they were the ones who did not provide referrals to alternative medicines or solutions sooner. Regain functional medicine did not fully complete a hormonal history for my specific situation. Even after requesting a new nurse who had only been practicing functional medicine for three months, I was still left on progesterone which has caused significant distress. They put me on 100 mg of commercial progesterone although I had not been on any hormones for two decades. The cookie cutter high cost program Dr. Gaumer has put in place is dangerous and reckless.
