I purchased 3 colon sessions for total $69 from Groupon. So far, I only used 2 sessions. The actual water irrigation time is about 30 minutes, and you have prior 15 minutes to change clothes and after 15 minutes to wrap up the session. Pretty much everything is DIY. But if you are first timer, they will walk you through to make sure you know what to do. There is no privacy intruding. Most things are clean, Simple and straightforward. Do colon clean often, it will extend your lifespans. Our colon is just like the city sewage system. If you don't clean it often, it grows just "bad" things on the intestine wall. And next thing you know, colon cancer. They have multiple sessions packages. Ask for the price discount details. Staffs, some are friendly and smiling, some are just there doing their job. I wish they will put a tip jars out, maybe it will improve overall customer services of the whole team. After all, who doesn't like extra money? Friendly smile and excellent customer services always win returning customers. After all, there are several colon cleaning clinics in the town, if price are almost the same, what makes the only differences? Few things to improve: 1. Water dispenser in the waiting area for customers. 2. Hanger in the toilet for jackets or purses. 3. The colon irrigation room's seat could have been used for a while. There are some orange-brown coloring marks on the seat. I tried not to assume it is other people's poop's stains , and honestly I don't think it is (because the areas are not where the poop can really splashed on), but the color is just so similar (could be the original color of the leather after years). If they can cover those areas with disposable plastic cover, or big towels, maybe the user will feel more comfortable to lean on. read more

Completely disappointed. My friend and I went to this place for laser hair removal. As a male the staff acted as if they had never serviced a guy before. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Then, my friend went to You Only Better and her appt was at 7:30, she showed up on time and was told that she would have to reschedule because she was supposed to be there 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Well, I filled out the paperwork and it maybe takes 4 or 5 minutes. The staff obviously wanted to go home. On top of extremely dated machines, NO SIGNAGE to even find the place, the staff is not friendly. We got our money back. You get what you pay for, do not go to this cheap establishment. This place is pretty much awful. It was impossible to find. The staff was unfriendly. I went for laser hair removal. They are fast, but that is because they give you less than 60 seconds to ice yourself before beginning the treatment. The woman never asked me if I had questions, never answered any of mine without a snide comment, and it was freaking painful. I had severe burns after my last treatment and I will not be going back for my final 2 treatments. There was NO effort on their part to make the experience more comfortable. People, I'm sitting there in my underwear, I have no idea how the procedure works, and you just stare at me in silence while burning my inner thighs with your severely out dated machine. This place has the worst customer service. I purchased a Groupon and on my first visit (which I scheduled well in advance) they couldn't get me in because someone didn't show up. I think a phone call to save me the 30 minute drive would have been a minimum courtesy but I didn't even get that. I did get rescheduled for the next week and was shocked at how rude the employees were in general. Anytime I asked a question (this was my first experience with IPL) the employees acted like it was a huge inconvenience to answer my questions. Then I got a phone call saying that my Groupon expired, no other information. I thought it was an error since I had already started my sessions. But no, they refused to honor my other sessions or to even discuss how I could use the remaining cash value. My only option was to purchase more sessions and when I said that was unacceptable they walked away. Save yourself some hassle and go somewhere where they actually want your business. read more

I purchased a Groupon for 6 Laser Hair Removal Treatments in March 2011. The expiration was Dec 21, 2011. I called to confirm whether the treatments needed to be started or completed by Dec 21 and was informed they needed to be started. We discussed the fact that you should not tan between treatments so it was better to start in the fall. I received a call on Jan 3, 2012 that my Groupon was now expired and that I would need to pay full price for my remaining treatments. I immediately pulled up my Groupon and explained to the manager, Amy, that the agreement does not specify when all treatments needed to be completed prior to Dec 21, 2011 and also shared about my prior conversation. She mentioned that in order to get new Groupon clients in they needed to close out their prior Groupons. I was shocked they were purposefully removing services from current clients to get in new clients. It is likely only a matter of time before this happens to the new clients also. I called to speak to the owner, Lori, three times and she has never returned my calls. I have been informed by staff that she will say the exact same thing; however, I would like to hear directly from the source that she is not following through with the service agreement. I chose to try You...Only Better because it is closer to home; however, I will go complete my treatments at a facility that has better lasers, quality customer service, and actually follows through on their commitments. read more

Very dissatisfied with the IPL hair removal. They advertise six treatments and you'll never shave again. I had six treatments on my beard and only saw a slight reduction in one area about the size of a nickel. Otherwise, it was worthless. After I finished all the treatments, they then said it doesn't work as well on men and tried to sell me additional treatments. That would perhaps be understandable, but my wife and sister-in-law also were treated by this facility for seven treatments each. Both saw very minimal results and will certainly have to continue shaving. Don't waste your money. Perhaps the staff is untrained or the machines are faulty, regardless, you'll still have to shave when you're finished. On the plus side, most of the staff were friendly. read more

SIX TREATMENTS= LESS THAN 5 PERCENT OF HAIR REDUCED This business really embodies the term, "sketchy." I bought there deal on Groupon for laser hair removal and have never been more disappointed. I treated the bikini line area and even bought additional, going for the brazillian after being researching laser hair removal. What I should have done was wait to use my groupon until reviews from the company came out. I was told I had the perfect skin for laser hair removal to be effective: light skin, dark hair. After my first treatment, I had three burn marks that took weeks to heal and no results. I called because the handout they equipped me with (which I still have), said I should have a shaveless period, aside from the shedding factor. I called and told them I had no such results and they insisted only twenty percent of my hair would be eliminated due to the growth cycle. I went along with the 6 treatments and they assured me the first three sessions that all candidates take only 4-6 treatments. At 6 treatments, I told them I didn't have the right results; well, their story changed again. "Most actually take 8-10 treaments," spoke the women finishing up my last treatment. I couldn't believe the whole office was trying to get more money out of me. Well, 6 treatment and I here I have may be 5 percent or less hair than when I started, but with lighter pockets. Yes, about 95 percent of my hair is still here, I was ripped off. Luckily I wrote groupon and received a full refund and a promise to report the company, but the brazillian I upgraded to at You, Only Better will be my mistake well learned. Also, every time I came for my appointment, I had a different technicians. Six different technicians and none of them seemed familiar or comfortable with the outdated machine. The pain I felt was well worth it because the result would be so worthwile, but that was not the case. I can not emphasize this enough: DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT! They are FRAUDS!!! read more

I was pleased with my colonic experience. I found that I preferred this system rather than another location that I'd had a colonic done, which was a closed system with technician in the room manipulating the tube. YOB was better because tech was not in room so I felt comfortably able to enjoy process. The only part I was not comfortable with was trying to get up from the table afterwards. Need wet wipes available though! And need that unattached piece where legs rest to be attached so won't slip. Would also like more hours availability, difficult to get appt! Disappointed. I have had 12 treatments on my underarms, chin, and lip. I have seen only a small amount of thinning under my arms. They told me that I would only need 4 to 6 treatments. After double that amount, I can see very little difference. I would go somewhere else. read more

I had a Groupon to You...Only Better when they were located in Lenexa. Unfortunately, before I completed my "treatments," I called to make appointments and got only the voicemail. I left messages, never to have them returned. Finally, I drove by their offices to find they had moved out of their office and there was no forwarding information. I had to call Groupon for a refund because they couldn't get a returned phone call from them either. I will never go here again. read more

This place is absolutely awful. I worked there for quite some time..and i can tell you, they are dirty and do not clean their equipment properly. the workers get about 30 minutes of training and send them right to work. no one is qualified or knows to much about anything . everyone talks about clients horribly to each other and other clients! i am not only saying this bc i no longer work there, but bc you dont deserve to pay this money for this awful service. the good reviews you see, is because laurie, the owner, gave them $25 gift certificates if they would. just be wise before you give them any money or more! the run specials constantly because no one wants to pay full price! read more

I have had laser hair removal previously and know that an area the size of a lower leg will take approximately 100 'hits' for a successful removal. However, each area was only 'hit' about 14 times. I agree with what the gentleman prior to me said, in that I was their last appointment and feel they cut my service short because they were wanting to go home. Additionally, the overall feel is dingy. The staff is extremely rude and doesn't return voicemails. The owner is laughably rude, clearly not concerned about repeat business. My overall issue is with the machine being used. As stated, I have had hair removal many times before but have never had a machine hurt so fiercely. I looked at the model upon getting dressed to leave and then spoke with another company in the city, who informed me that machine is years past it's prime which would account for the pain. The newer machines have cooling units and gels that are used to reduce any pain inflicted, while theirs did not have these. I would skip this place and travel further for better service, less pain and a friendlier staff. read more

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR OFFICE OR EVER RETURN THERE FOR ANY SERVICE!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! This is the worst experience I have ever had anywhere. This office is so unprofessional. Bait and switch is an understatement for this groupon. When my treatment started for my underarms the office failed to mention you were only allowed to come in every 4-6 weeks and that once the groupon expires they were not going to complete my treatment, of which I asked about prior to starting treatment. I was told as long as treatment was started prior to expiration date it didn't matter. Nowhere on the groupon does it say anything about treatment ending on the expiration date. Half way through treatment I have been told pay for the other 3 treatments at $99 each or goodbye. When I said the groupon does not say anything about ending treatment half way through or ending after the expiration date, I was told we don't care go ahead and contact groupon we didn't get any money from them anyway. Even after the 3 treatments I saw absolutely no difference in the appearance of the hair growth. Other friends of mine that have had similar treatment elsewhere were almost hair free after the first couple of treatments, which makes me wonder if this wasn't the intention of the office the whole time get you there with a groupon and then change the rules to what makes them the most money. They were fully intending on the expiration date occurring before treatment could be completed as well as needing more than the six treatments allowed with the groupon, hence the bait and switch. After contacting a couple other reputable laser hair removal offices they have said it usually takes a minimum of 7-9 treatments but you should definitely see results after the first 2 (shaving a lot less frequently). After the 3 treatments at this office there is absolutely no difference. What a waste of time and money. Before this appointment I called to verify the time and date and there was no mention of needing to pay for this appointment. Nor did they mention it at my precious appointment that took place after the expiration. I was told I had 3 more treatments and if I needed more I would need to pay extra for those treatments only. This is the worst business practice I have ever been exposed too as well as the way I was treated by the tech and the owner was unbelievable. They really need a course in customer service. I have worked in the medical field for over a decade and would never have treated a patient in the way I was treated in their office. It is disgusting the way they handle their clients. read more

Waste of money. I went for laser hair removal with a groupon deal. You...only better advertises that on average after 6 treatments, you'll never shave again. I had 7 along with two other people and all of us were very disappointed. We all have very different hair types. Still have to shave daily. Their response was that I could purchase more sessions at $75 each session. The story changed each time we went in from "Most people see results after the 2nd session," when I went in the 2nd time. "On average it's after the 3rd," on my 3rd visit in. One time in, I was burned so bad it lasted for a week and a half. The 6th time I went in, they said my hair was too light and I shouldn't have even gotten it. IPL might work, but it definitely doesn't work here. Save your money and time. read more

I have been on Sermorelin therapy for over a year now. I don't know what I would do without it. I spent most of my life in sports and gymnastics and at 48, all of my joints were really starting to ache. I could feel the signs of aging setting in, which is initially the main reason I started taking it. I purchased the colonic session from Group On and really didn't know what to expect. I have some health issues so this was very important to me. I felt very welcomed when I arrived and was explained everything that would take place. They did come and check on me several times since this was my first time and was wonderful to assist me with the process since I had a problem (my own problem) getting everything started. Since I didn't have everything going correctly they added time on my session so I could receive the full benefit of the procedure.That is where the helpfulness ended. It seems if you purchase a Group On you go by a whole set of different rules than if you buy directly from them. For example, if you cancel even with notice they take the session away from you....I think if you give ample notice that you will not be able to attend your appointment that you should still have your appointment. Also on the Groupon there is not a date that you have to use the 3 visits...but you evidently have to use the visits in their time frame or you lose them. So let's see here. I have one visit that didn't work and lost the other two because I needed to rearrange the times. So for the money I got nothing...I would say this was a total waste of money and would refer no one to the scam of a business. read more

Horrible Experience!! Purchased a Groupon for 6 laser hair removal treatments. After receiving my 3rd treatment showed up for my 4th appointment was called into a room and told that if I wanted any further treatments they would be $99 each. I stated I had only had 3 treatments and that I had purchased 6! She told me they werent making any money off the Groupons they sold and that they had to "crack" down on them and make some changes. I was VERY mad, and told them I would be contacting Groupon, she shrugged her shoulders and said I don't care who you contact! I then asked to speak to the manager/owner. It went even further downhill from here, I explained what I had purchased and what I had just been told and she said I agree with what the other girl told you and if you don't want to pay the $99 then you can leave!! I will NEVER go back to this place and nor will I recommend anyone to go here. The people are completely unprofessional and their services suck. The first time visiting I had a hard time trying to find the place (didn't realize it was in a strip) and NO ONE would answer their phone. Then when I finally found it there were tons of staff there standing around doing nothing. Also I did not think they dressed professionally at all. I called to reschedule an appointment because of a family emergency and they told me that because I bought a Groupon that I could never reschedule and I would forfeit the session. My mom and sister also bought the Groupon. One day they showed up too early before their appointment--I believe 20 minutes or so and they were told they could not get them in (even though they had a scheduled appt!).
