Thanks to Cecelia's help my dog is not aggressive away from the house and can often go off leash (in designated areas of course).

Cecilia is beyond a natural with dogs and working with them (and us humans) to get the results you want. She has tremendous leadership abilities and the dogs really know who is in charge when she is around. She instill that in her clients too. I had some behavioral issues with my dog when we would go on walks. She worked with my bulldog and me (showing me how to walk with authority) and training him not to react to triggers. Without a doubt I would want her to train any dog. She is very gifted at this but has also read and studied this from a young age.

Ask the Community - Meridus K9 & Equine

Does Cecilia use prong or E-collars for some dogs?

I don't use ecollars or chocke chains. Once I meet you and your dog, we decide what is the best apparel for both of you.

I cannot sing the praises of Michelle enough! When Monty returned from two weeks of Board and…read moreTrain with Michelle, he was a changed dog. He's not just a calmer dog, he's a CALM dog. We've had no out-of-control barking incidents; he can be tethered and remain quiet. He's very good on walks, moving from "heel" to "break" and back to "heel" again. He's very responsive to the "off" command, which we use primarily to keep him off the furniture and out of the kitchen. Last week we had friends over for dinner and after his initial excitement he was a good boy, lying nearby content and chewing on a bone. We even attended the Humane Society Walk for Animals at Kit Carson Park, and with hundreds of dogs and people and non-stop activities, he was again a very well-behaved boy. We are so appreciative of the work that Michelle did with Monty. He is now the dog we always hoped he would be - happy, well-behaved, and living his best life!

The moment Chewie saw Chris, he recognized him and greeted him with such joy! Minding his manners of course. He's too smart to behave like a brat in front of his trainer. I recently reached out to Chris for advice on redirecting Chewie when greeting people since he sometimes forgets his manners and has no sense of personal space. Chris took the time to demonstrate effective techniques and offered practical solutions I'll be implementing right away. Chewie and I are incredibly grateful for Chris's continued support and the excellent training from Cosmo K-9 Obedience. Chewie has come a long way. I can't image life without the professional guidance and support from Costco K-9 Obedience.

Kim is very knowledgeable, understanding and experienced in caring for precious fur babies of all sizes. We left our elderly 14lbs schnoodle in her capable hands for 10 days and Bailey not only thrived, she came home calmer, happier and looking/feeling better than we left her I think! Kim treats every client as a VIP, or VID I should say. We were updated daily with great photos and anecdotes. Kim is also a professional photographer and sent us samples of her work (it's great) with reassuring messages to soothe and entertain the anxious owner/pet parent. I am so very happy to have found her and so is my precious Bailey. 5 star resort for doggies and what a GREAT business owner.

My dog is super high energy and can cause a ruckus at times however Kim has been nothing short of great with him. Kim is responsive, kind and more than communicative. I always have peace of mind when boarding Cinco and receive pictures and videos throughout his doggie staycay. Kim is always flexible with my schedule and offers great prices for the wonderful experience that me and my dog receive when boarding. Kim cares about each and every dog that she looks after and it really shows through her photography work. Highly recommend.

When I brought our 14-year-old girl (Sherman, don't judge, she's built like a tank) to the rescue, I immediately fell in love with the place. Jacqui had thoughtfully prepared two enclosures for us to choose from, filled with edible safe plants, plenty of shade, and lots of room to roam. Watching Sherman start exploring right away brought me more comfort than I expected. Three days later, Jacqui reached out to let me know that Sherman had been adopted by a well-vetted family. I am beyond relieved. If you're facing the difficult reality of rehoming a sulcata, (or looking to adopt!)I can't recommend Sulcata Rescue Ranch enough. Sherman is in loving, knowledgeable hands, and that makes all the difference.

She makes sure that the animals are going to good homes by asking for pictures of where they'll live and of the adopters knowledge of the animals. The wellbeing of the animals is truly her main concern. What she's doing is so amazing as these animals often get bought when they're tiny and cute then when they get huge they'll just get abandoned. I got a bigger guy bc I've always wanted a giant tortoise and finally have the space to do so. I love my big boy so much.
