Basically, you just have to shop or use print/fax/copy service and take your chances. At the checkout counter, the sales associate will input some information into her handy dandy OfficeMax slot machine. Wave her magic wand. Then hopefully 3 cherries will pop up and you win a discount! Alas, I came up a loser today. No discount on my all-in-one printer :( So while I appreciate that OfficeMax is supportive of the military, I don't understand the discount system. Should it be that confusing? Other than that, I like the store...it's A-OK. The sales associates here are very good about greeting each customer and helping the customer find whatever he/she needs. The store is very clean and well organized. It's never too busy. So I can just pop in, get what I need and be on my way. Today, I there to purchase an office chair and after making my selection I roll it to the front of the store. The assistant manager tells the cashier she can sell me the display model, but it rang up an incorrect price. This particular chair was on sale and their dispaly even had a matching model number and an exact picture of the chair. Same model number, exact picture! Now Kenneth the store manager gets involved and refuses to acknowledge the mistake. In addition he adds they will not sell me the display chair, that I must purchase a chair in a box and if I want they will put it together for an additional charge. Though Kenneth was not rude, he was not logical. To not examine the display/picture/model number and sale price and then to throw in they will not sell it to me anyway made no sense.

Most of the staff here are very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient though they are at times understaffed! Parking is always easy as they have a big open outdoor lot shared with other stores in the plaza. I would especially like to recommend Alea for making my experiences wonderful. Not only was she patient and understood my needs, she also made amazing laminates of the somewhat creased items I needed. She is also an aspiring RN! She will definitely make a good nurse because of her patience, efficiency and ability to multitask. Also had great experiences with Brian, Claudia and the manager Arianna. For the quality of work they do, the prices they charge are definitely well worth it. She had the nerve to say the employee that helped us with shipping our products before didn't do his job right (but he did). I really didn't like the aura with her there, but the caucasian man helped us and was nice and accommodating. Please do better with you selection of employees and she hid her name on the name tag so I didn't get to get it. Besides that they had a decent choice when it comes to shipping and the value.
