If you are in the area and need gas or a snack, it is very convenient to drive in and out of this establishment at the very busy intersection of Route 34 and Forest Road. The staff is friendly, but not very knowledgeable probably because there is a huge turnover of people working there. In addition to the people changing, the name keeps changing just as quickly. I just had a terrible experience at Mercury Sunoco station. The woman's name behind the counter was Taijay (sorry about the spelling. It was pronounced tie-jay) I approached the counter and all she did was text on her phone. I gave her my credit card and she said, "receipt?". I said no thanks. Then I put in my pin and she never stopped texting. She again said, "receipt?" And I again said no thanks. She still had not stopped texting. I just waited and she said again (still texting) "receipt?" to which I said, "still no thanks. I already told you." She finally looked at me for the first time. She rolled her eyes at me like I was a major inconvenience. I said, "many people find it rude if you're texting while working" and she just replied, "well, find another gas station". In line tells me move so she can let someone but candy..stand in line again start transaction lottery interiors take bother person for with granola bars then a guy for gas receipts tells me we don't make money off lottery so.you have to wait. 3/5/19 approx 8am in the store: I purchased an item and requested specific change. The cashier refused to provide the change requested and when I told her to cancel the transaction. She refused and attempted to steal my money. I attempted to retrieve it myself at which time the cashier called for another employee and threatened to punch me in the face. The (female)coworker (manager)came to the register. The cashier then lied to her about what happened. (WHY WOULD A THIEF TELL THE TRUTH?) After I explained what took place the coworker (manager) was in shock as were the other customers in the store. And the cashier was told she should have honored my request for change with my purchase. The coworker(manager) provided me my full refund expeditiously. The company website has no area for complaints. So I used the Contact us form and asked them 1. Why this woman works there facing customers she clearly has to be retrained and taught soft skills. 2. What should customers expect from Mercury Fuel? I know I will never go to another one of their locations again. And I have a full list.
