I just had a hip revision surgery 10/31/19. (Infection from previous hip replacement 10/27/16). Hip revision is much more difficult then a regular hip replacement. Can't call and talk to a person. Have gone for years for same issue only to have more and more tests, same treatments and nothing resolved. I think a lot of the doctors are leaving. I recently had an urgent issue with a fracture and ended up with another orthopedic office that I will stay with. MBO doctors always seemed to rush through visit. May not be their fault may be change in management. Either way not good. read more

I was a patient at the Langhorne office for 30 years , This office use to be great until all the doctors started leaving without a word. Asked the management and they weren't much help, they don't seem to care about anyone other than themselves. They seem to be overbooking time slots. I have never waited less than 45 minutes (and the past 3 times longer) after my scheduled appt time. It is annoying. I respect their time and they should respect mine. There also seems to be an issue with scheduling. I had an appt, I received an email confirming date, time, and location , but when I arrived they had no record. While waiting another patient came in and had the same problem. Dr. Nolan is a precise, expert, in hip replacement surgery. It takes an amazing staff to support such a distinguished practice as MBO. Ms. Holly is compassionate to patient requests. A true asset to us patients. She returns calls in a timely basis. If you require documentation for authorization or other necessary required prescription related request she is on top of it. The assistants are professional, courteous, and show interest in your recuperation and healing. Dr. Kawash is through and has excellent bedside manner. My recovery was minimal from hip replacement. I am amazed that their website has nothing but positive reviews, while Yelp has many negative reviews. My negative review was never added on their website. Dr Codjoe I saw Dr Codjoe on February 4th, 2025 and was extremely appreciative for the time he took with me involving my shoulder problems. I found Dr Codjoe to be thorough, patient, and quite detailed in explaining what my shoulder problems were. He recommended surgery and I felt I was in great hands. Later that afternoon I realized I forgot to ask him a question, so I called the office and left a message for Dr Codjoe and his PA. I did not receive a call back. Two days later I called the office to speak with the surgery scheduler, as I was told I would be contacted by them, but had not been contacted. Perhaps, I was being impatient, but I wanted to get my shoulder surgery scheduled. I did not receive a call back from the scheduler. I called the scheduler two weeks later and received a call back the next day. I missed that call, and called back immediately, and left a voice message and never received a call back. Last week I called the office and left a message for the office manager to call me hoping to obtain a viable explanation for the lack of follow through. I was hoping this might help me feel more confident in moving ahead with my shoulder surgery. Once again I never received a call back. As a result of these persistent patterns of not following through, I reluctantly found a surgeon at Rothman. If Mercer Bucks Orthopedics staff are this inattentive with a patient before surgery, how do they treat patients after surgery? read more

After going to Mercer Bucks for years as in like 30 or more. This last 5 years have been the worst in my life. Treated in the er by their trama doctor for broken femur 2 sepertat operations due to plates and screw failures. Then a knee replacement was recommended in goes doctor 2 who cuts off 1/2 my femur and installs an aperatis i could have made better. 4 months later the knee operation fails and a 4th surgery to remove and replace same junk was preformed. Well that one failed also so from October of 2020 till now June 2025 I have been unable to walk and with this last failure I now have to have my leg amputated above my knee and wear a prosthetic leg that's going to be another year of pain and adjustments. They are now owned by REDEFINE HEALTH CARE who bills my visits as out of network so when I go there it's with a referral I pay my copay and their coming after me for the amount the ins doesn't cover... Beware they have turned to crooks and my neighbor and his dad also both had gone to same doctor for a standard knee replacement in the last 4 months and both are having problems... I paid my copays so they can shove this 800.00 bill rite up their dairy air. I WILL NEVER GO BACK NOR GIVE THEM ANOTHER DIMÈ. I have been getting shots for quite awhile. I finally decided to get knee replacement had it on this past sept 25th 2024. Dr Nolan was great did everything excersises three. Times a day physical therapy I actually am a different person no pain I am so glad I did this. And Dan Kawash. Was great made me feel very much at ease before operation. Wish I had read all of these reviews first. SOOOO BAD. Both locations in Langhorne and Hamilton. They literally want you in and out in 2 minutes. Dr. Colarosso talked to my mother as if she were a child. He came in and said her pain was "carpal tunnel dear" and had she gotten test. UMM, yes, you did the test and then delayed her care, but sending her for a bunch of neck tests when her pain is clearly carpal tunnel. And after his patronizing visit today, where nothing was done but making us come back and see another doctor to get the procedure. and we are stuck with them because we would have to start all over again. SO another appointment that is just 2 minutes before she can get the procedure we all knew she needed 4 months ago. And i have also seen a doctor there who is curt and grumpy. He at least explained things to me and I am moving towards my procedure. I used Rothman for my knee and HIGHLY regret using Mercer Bucks. I saw them in 2023 and that doctor was lovely but they were bought out and now the entire experience is frustrating. Oh, and Dr. C said it was normal to wait for a specialist 45 minutes at an appt since that happened every time in Hamilton. One of my biggest issues is you cannot call and talk to anyone Its always voice mail, go to the portal or have a text chat. i know most offices have the portals but if I need to talk to someone at another practice I never have difficulty I do with MBO. read more

Had a 3 p.m. appointment, was taken to exam room at 3:25, not awful, but wait it gets worse. At 4 p.m. I finally had enough and went to front desk to make inquiry. They did make attempt to find out info, but came back with a generic " doctor is with other patients". No apology for the massive inconvenience, and no information about how much longer than the already one hour wait I'd need to endure. Arrogance, thy name is Mercer Bucks Orthopedics. I've had mixed experiences at MBO with varied results but was never really pain free. Thousands of dollars in shots and out of pocket physical therapy expenses with only minor success in pain relief. Used their pain management doctor who was thoroughly convinced that my problems were spine related ( took me 3 1/2 years to get to the root source of the problem at Princeton joint and spine. Long story short it wasn't my spine. Hamstring and glute medius along with si joint issues, so very complex. MBO was never really willing to look past the "it's your spine " diagnosis so I lived in pain for the next 1 1/2 years while I watched my business and life come unraveled. All of the appropriate tests were performed- X-rays MRI's etc. - all showed minor wear and tear for my age .The Office and doctors were always friendly but it took way too much time to get approved for treatment. When you're in severe pain weeks feel like months. Long story short I have not returned and will not return. Almost forgot- throw in a botched foot surgery and it's a deal. Dr Z cut the tendon in my small toe while performing a bunion surgery.in addition to that he used the wrong length screw to hole the bone to n place which required a subsequent surgery. But somehow excepted zero responsibility for his actions ....pretty crappy. read more

Well, went for a second visit and the radiology tech has no personality where she'll help. I have what feels like some tendon or soft tissue damage in my hand and she keeps telling me "can you sit here and turn your wrist with your palm up?" I say no because that's why I'm having x-rays done. It literally hurts that much. So I ask if she can at least raise the table and let me stand like the first visit. She puts the box there and gets aggravated that I can't straighten my hand like I have nothing wrong with the tendons in it. I turn but it's not good enough so then she eventually gives up and tells me to go back to the office. Meanwhile, the table is as high as it can go, I can't lift my arm up to get it off the plate, so I'm sliding the box off the edge of the table so it will fall and I can lower it. She goes in with force and jolts my wrist back which gives me a sharp pain in my hand and I told her "will you just get the fuck off me?" So she then tells the doctor that I "cursed her out." The doctor then puts his fingers in the center of my palm and rotates it to confirm that there's some kind of tendon damage and I need an MRI. But I don't really want to go back to this place. I really don't. I go to check out and they look at me like "what?" I said, "this is Check Out. Am I not supposed to check out?" She said kurtly, "that's only if you want to come back." So I told them I'm supposed to come back, but because they have a protective shield down and masks on, they say they can't hear me so I take the mask off so she can. Then they act like I'm carrying the bubonic plague despite being twice vaccinated already. "CDC guidelines...." was the term used. (also keep in mind that today - 4/27 - the CDC said people who are vaccinated can go around in small groups without masks... I'm already vaccinated against COVID) Just very cold and unfriendly people. Nice to you when you give them money... but then it becomes just a "we're so good that we're going to be unkind, unhelpful, and unfeeling." I get that they care but I'm in pain and you keep saying "do this" with x-rays and it hurts me to do this... but you won't guide my hand to help... you just keep repeating "do this" "do this" Now I'm debating whether to just ride out the pain in my hand or spend more money to people where I hate going to their practice. And I'm just going to leave it in the $35 splint I got from CVS. I'm not made of money... I get I need an MRI... but I'm not going back here. read more

Went twice 1. Original appointment: 25 minute wait. Dr did not examine me. He asked several questions then left room. Total 4 minutes. Nurse handed me script for MRI. The end. Pretty odd experience. 2. Billing could not figure out how to bill my insurance agency re: open claim from auto accident. After a 45 minute wait in a packed room, rude receptionist (white woman, long blonde hair) said the Dr wouldn't see me because it was almost an hour and he is very strict with his time. I said..He won't see me when it's your billing department that can't figure things out? She put her hand up and told me to sit down. I told her not to put up her hand that way because it's rude. No apology. Nurse came to get me. Dr took more time explaining MRI results with me after mentioning that I didn't seem too happy with him. I explained about my last visit with him and the disrespect from the receptionist. As far as his medical advice, he didn't have too much to say. Not there to cook staff lunches! haha ******** I've unfortunately had to see too many orthopedics in my lifetime so far. Having to find a new ortho in the area I live in now wasn't too difficult and I settled on Mercer Bucks since it has a location in the town I live in. I was able to get an appointment pretty easily on a weekday. Sign in was easy, right on the ipad station which was pretty easy to figure out what to do when I walked in. I found an open seat, in the extremely packed waiting room. A few minutes later i was called to one of the windows. A very friendly woman completed my check in and back to my seat I went. There are several seating types to accommodate those who maybe can't bend all the way, get up easier, etc. Nice. The wait was a bit lengthy, but nothing that the TVs in the room, magazines, or my phone could help take care of to pass the time. Soon enough I was called back. Xrays taken in house to ensure it wasn't structure causing my ligament issues. Recommendation was OT/PT and some braces. I was ushered into another room to be fitted for some braces. I was unfortunately forgotten about in there for a good 45 minutes. The tech came in very apologetic though, saying she wasn't told about me until 10 or so minutes prior to her entering the room. Was a bit peeved, but at least I was seen and on my way out. I don't know if I'd be back to this network given I had to carve out a half day for this appointment, and the OT/PT hasn't helped. read more

Dr. Keith Crivelllo is everything I wanted (and you want) in a doctor: caring, honest, skilled; he was professional without being clinical, he was informative without being overly technical. I'm a runner. A few months ago I tripped, flew, and landed on my face and pinkie finger. It was my first broken bone--ever. I went to emergency care, which was exactly what one might expect for a doctor of all trades; however, he gave me the best advice and recommended an orthopedic surgeon: Dr. Keith Crivello. A broken finger sounds like no big deal, but it was broken at the knuckle, so it was a big deal. Dr. Crivello recommended surgery (pins) to correct the broken bone and repair the weakened tendons. I had surgery, and maybe I'm lucky, but I never experienced pain or needed pain medicine. It's been a few months for the recovery, but he and the hand therapist, Nicole Hunter, have been there with me every step of the way. I hesitate to mention the moment that solidified the type of doctor I had, but I think it's important to understanding his professionalism. My pins were supposed to come out on 12/24. I was REALLY looking forward to them coming out. I arrived and he did an x-ray. He entered the consultation room: "You're going to kill me because you came out here on Christmas Eve; the pins can come out, but I think they should stay in for another week." I don't think I ever appreciated someone's honesty and professionalism as much as I did that day. The easy thing would have been to take them out and avoid an unhappy patient, but he risked my annoyance to make sure I healed properly. It's been three months since my accident and my finger is awesome. I know the decisions made and the care given have been the best I could have received. read more

Hamilton office Staff and physician do the minimum to accommodate the patient. This is a factory like office setting with minimal to no customer service. The robotic movements of the staff are very obvious. Almost impossible to get a hold of the office - all offices have one phone number. I have been on hold for 7 minutes. Eventually an operator finally answers and tells that I have to leave a message for the office staff and they will call me back sometime today- he thinks. This is a disgrace! This is an illusion- there is no care taking place in this orthopedic practice. Do not make an appointment here at MBO! read more

Felt like a factory. The assistants weren't very nice. X-ray tech didn't even look at me when she was helping me. The surgeon didn't prepare me enough. Made it seem like a Bunionectomy was no big deal. Be back to work in a month. Couldn't be further from the truth. I'm three months post op, foot is still huge and hurts the end of the day. I should have asked more questions but honestly, how would I know what to ask? I should have researched more. If I had to do all over again, I would have passed on this surgery ( mine wasn't severe), or at least chosen a different place. I would have done a lot more research. Made online appointment requests that were never followed up. Filled out appropriate online forms and never got a response. Left phone messages and no one ever called back. Finally got a human to answer the phone nearly TWO Months after initial contact. She was more interested in what insurance I had rather than why no one ever called me back. Said they had no record of referrals even though I had the copies in front of me. She became rude, cut me off and said it was my fault. Did not even know I was calling about PT appointment, she kept saying "ortho surgery". Probably on her cell phone not paying attention to a potential (well, not anymore) patient. Told her I was getting a different place to have my PT, she did not care, said whatever and hung up. Stay classy Mercer-Bucks... maybe you should do some serious QC on your staff? read more

Mercer Bucks is a mess of ONE phone number for numerous offices! When you need to get a hold of a doctor, you have to go through a bunch of phone prompts and MAYBE you get the right person. Their scheduling is HORRIBLE! They scheduled me for an 8:40 appt when the doctors don't even arrive until 9! How rude is that! Expect at least an hour wait time for every appointment! nothing worst than a organization who believes they are the best and YOU need to wait for them! I find it 100% inconsiderate of me and my time. I have numerous other doctors and the wait time is at MOST 30 minutes. Horrible Here are my comments for the Doctor: Dr. Collins was very inconsiderate of the wait time for her patients and thought it perfectly fine for everyone to wait an hour for her. I don't feel any doctor is special and I don't appreciate waiting for them. We are their customers and our time should be important to them. When I told her we had waited an hour her response was 'All my patients waited an hour'! Also, she states she will call you and never does. Then it is very hard to get a hold of her. For example she had instructed us she would call when she got the results of the tests which she did not do. After leaving her voice mail and still no response and waiting 4 days we finally got someone to get a hold of her only to find out she was unavailable and was then going on vacation! The reseptionist was nice enough to get a hold of her to get permission for the results to be read to us. I do not work with any doctor who feels we can wait for an hour plus to see them. If you like to wait and have nothing else to do with your time - she may be a good fit for you! read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I presented With a broken elbow. The doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me, and had me return in a week. The 2nd snd 3rd visit, I saw a P.A. The 4th visit, I told them I wanted to see the physician. Again, a visit under 5 minutes. Referred for physical therapy, incorrect information was entered into my medical record, which I discovered on the patient portal. I informed them about it, and it wasn't corrected. After several other problems, I wrote to the practice administrator. As a surgery center administrator myself, I was astounded that she never replied to my letter. Patient satisfaction is obviously not a priority in this practice. Get 'em in and get 'em out. A factory. read more

Dr. Willis has given me my mobility back..I used to walk 5 miles a day and became depressed when my own body no longer allowed me to walk more than a few feet without pain. While it might take me a little more time to get back to my 5 mile a day goal, I am in my 6th week of recovery and healing, I am already able to walk longer than I have in a very long time! It is no exaggeration when I say I feel like I am getting my life back again. I have to thank Dr. Willis..his office staff Elsa..Leslie.. Nicole and Bryan for making this process easy and for their care and compassion. I recommend, without hesitation, Dr. Willis and MERCER-BUCKS ORTHOPEDICS for your joint replacement needs. Total knee replacement. Prep leading to surgery was top notch. I knew exactly what to expect and everyone was very thorough. Information was repeated often and i was asked if i had questions. Had total knee replacement by Dr. Eingorn. His skill is unquestionable. His description of the procedure and required rehab time is highly inaccurate. He said I'd be good to return to my desk job 2 weeks following surgery. I planned to be out 3 weeks. Since my leg remains swollen and I have bouts of intermittant severe pain, I'll be out 5 or 6 weeks. Pain mgt. here is 1 size fits all. Office did not return call from my home health RN concerning pain mgt. Unprofessional. Always wait 1 hour past appointment times even for 1st app't in AM. PA tells me to hike in the mall 1 week after surgery. Are u kidding me? They are out of touch with what patients go through and minimize what is told to them. I came very close to an elbow replacement & I truly believe I would be looking for a new career if I had had a different doctor. Dr Zak did surgery on my right ankle 4 years ago and I I'm allergic to the surgical clip to put in my foot and I grew a tumor in my foot that he refused to remove this man has no bedside Manner and thinks he's above everybody else.But I love my knee surgery Dr codjoe he did two knee surgery on my right knee dr. Horrible service, horrible dx and the therapists aren't great either. Didn't know how bad services were until I switch therapists and dx. What a difference! The wait was more than an hour to see the dx and dx came in, spend 2 mins with me and was done. I would never ever go back to this office. Oh yea, they were very quick to ask for their money though. Their billing department sucks too. Had to call them several times because their bill is incorrect. When I explained to them that I had already paid, they told me "if it makes you feel better, I will revised the bill to reflect...". Of course your bill have to reflect the proper service! On 7th May 2019, I had an appointment with Dr. Thomas Bills for a swollen left knee. At first I was seen by a nurse and then by the doctor's PA who adivsed me to do an X-Ray. After that, the PA gave me 2 options for treatment of which I chose one. All this while, I kept thinking that the doctor would be busy and will come in anytime soon. However, once my treatment plan was discussed, the PA left the room and the nurse told me I could go outside and rebook a follow up appointment if I wanted. I then asked her whether the doctor would see me now and she told me 'The doctor saw your X-Ray with the PA and has discussed your case with the PA and hence you were offered the 2 treatment options'. I was absolutely appalled by this. I had paid extra to see a specialist and the doctor did not even bother to come once into the room and take a look at my knee. I have been to many other specialists in the past for various other causes and not once have I met a specialist who does not even bother to come and meet his patient to find out what is wrong. I am highly dissatisfied, not by the service provided but by the lack of professionalism by Dr. Bills. read more
