Here are all of the reasons we will not be…read morereturning to this practice: (1) I called in advance to confirm our insurance was in-network, and was later sent a bill for an $80 co-pay, even though the woman at the front desk assured me this would not occur. (2) The doctor took one look at my son's foot, left to get a scalpel and told us he would need to cut the problem off of the foot. He did not explain the alternative options, the likely outcome, etc. In other words, there was no informed consent. (3) The doctor prescribed a cream and emphasized how important compliance was. However, when I discovered the cream is not covered by insurance and called the office 3 times the following week (left messages and spoke to people), I never received a phone call back, nor was a new prescription sent to the pharmacy. There was no follow-up.
