I'm a massage therapist by trade and so I highly value my strength and keeping my body resilient…read morefrom any potential injuries because my livelihood relies on my body being at 100%. I moved to Merced during the pandemic and struggled to find a gym that I felt could be a place of community and a place where my trainer was passionate with helping me achieve my goals, until I met Justin. He is so knowledgeable with his movement anatomy that I always walk out of my sessions feeling strong rather than feeling beat up and depleted (but don't get me wrong- his workout will get your heart pumping and your body sweattttin!). He listens when you have injuries and very versed in giving you options for modification that produces the same results. I've been consistently going to his group training weekly for a few months now and I have felt such a difference in how I move my body at work. I'm not easily tired after working and see a progression in my strength in how I am carrying my body in space. I felt such a difference that my husband and brother in law are now consistently coming along! I highly recommend Justin's classes for anyone who is looking to improve their lifestyle and physical resilience- especially when your job requires hard labor- he will help you build your strength to keep your body's momentum. The location is very convenient downtown with tons of parking on the street or the back lot, they just did a glow up and the vibe inside the studio is energetic and empowering. See you next Thursday WPT! Thank you for what you do!

The class times are really accessible, there's early morning, some lunch options and evening options, as well as weekends. It's flexible for just about anyone. I also feel the instructors do an excellent job at accommodating different experience levels in the class so it always feels just right. The price is super competitive and you can really get a lot out of the class packs and memberships. The instructors are kind and extremely supportive. I have experienced different vibes at some reformer studios in other cities and it can feel unwelcoming. Have never once felt that way at Pedal, neither from the instructors nor the other students. If you're new to any of the classes they offer, it is a great place to try something different! Really hope to see this studio keep growing!
