I'd called a few days prior for a last-minute appointment and she made it work (it was only after arriving that I learned she did this by coming in on her day off--how kind!). I was comfortable and happy throughout the appointment. Our only small snag was with the duration of the appointment. On the phone I'd asked if there would be time to do fingers and toes and make it to my next appointment an hour later, and she said yes. Partway through the appointment it looked like we weren't going to make it, so I reminded her of my time needs. She sped up and busted it out, but was still fairly late to my next thing. I think if I'd mentioned it at the beginning of the appointment it would've been no problem at all, so that's my advice if you're ever in a similar time crunch. Overall, very happy with the experience and how the nails turned out, especially because she did my fingernails at top speed. They were the perfect Christmas party nails. This is two weeks later, and I've been getting lots of compliments. Would happily return!

Debbie is AMAZING. She is the most knowledgeable hair dresser I have ever been to. On top of that…read moreshe has the patients of Jobe. In December I went to see her for the first time. I wanted to get a perm on my very long hair. I had not cut it since 2012 when I retired. Needless to say I didn't do much with it either. Frankly it was in Very bad condition and I hated it. I had promised my husband when I retired I would let it grow, and so I did. If I tried to curl it withing 10 minutes it was straight again. So I thought maybe a perm would help. So I went to see Debbie. The poor girl spent hours rolling my hair. (look at the picture she has posted) Once done it was better, but it was so heavy it still pulled a lot of the curl out. I still hated it. I finally convinced my husband that it would look better if I had some of it cut. He agreed. However since Debbie had worked so hard and stressed out so much, I was hesitant to call her I didn't want to hurt her feelings. It wasn't her fault I didn't like my hair. She did everything right. A couple of weeks went by and Debbie called me to check up and see how I was liking my perm. (In over 50 years I have never had a hair dresser call me just to see how I liked what they had done) I admitted I didn't like like it and wanted to get it cut shorter. She was very OK with that so I made another appointment with her. I am so happy I did. I now love my hair again. It is so easy to care for and always looks great. I sure hope she doesn't plan on retiring EVER! (Just kidding) I will never go to another hairdresser as long as she is around.

If you read the additional information here on yelp, Jennie has clear instructions on how to book future appointments, and I had no issue with securing an appointment with a couple weeks advance notice as a new client. They are VERY BUSY with returning loyal clientele so it is impossible to have a walk in appointment, so just a heads up. Some may find that frustrating, but to me it's a sign of an establishment that understands the importance of having a good rapport with their clients. I came here for my first appointment with my infant and they were very warm & welcoming. It was very clean & you can tell that they care about getting to know their clients. I felt comfortable and cared for and mine and my best friends pedicures were fantastic! I always get gel on my toes and even with sandal weather they are still beautiful almost a month later.
