I have been looking for a local curly hair stylist because curly hair is a little challenging to cut due to the coils and shrinkage. Booking with Nelson was life changing. He walked me through the process and gave me education about how to keep my hair healthy and soft. He provided suggestions along the way allowing me to decide how I wanted to proceed always hearing me out and ensuring I understood what he was doing. I recently went to go get extensions, and sometimes they don't do the best at blending, so I always like to go to get them blended with long layers. It's supposed to look like your hair and usually it does after the second blend. Well, I came in here for that, explained to her, showed her a pic of what I wanted, she proceeded to cut my hair dry, which I was ok with. But she was like Edward scissoring my hair, it almost felt aimlessly. I was left with blunt ass layers, and that was after asking her to go in with texturizing scissors.
