The loft gets flipped so it doubles as a ceremony and reception space with cocktail hour taking place outside or in the long side area. What's great about this place is that you could hire a food truck to provide cocktail bites on the sidewalk. Inside the loft, the space still felt spacious for a reception. There is an upstairs deck area where the couple had a photo booth set up. Personally, I love a city-vibe wedding. I love when a couple can get street shots and any after party can happen in the downtown. I know that vibe isn't for everyone, but if that is yours, you should definitely check this venue out.

I first discovered SD Made when I booked a scent‑making session with an artist who had her storefront/studio inside the warehouse. I was instantly intrigued and wanted to learn more. That's when I found out they host events, offer coworking spaces, conference rooms, podcast rooms, and rentable studios for artists and creatives of all kinds. I knew immediately this was the perfect coworking space for me as I stepped into my next career chapter. Their pricing is reasonable, the amenities are great, and the people are cool, like‑minded, and welcoming. It's a laid‑back coworking environment -- something surprisingly hard to find in San Diego. Even though I no longer rent a coworking space, I stay connected through their local events and by supporting the artists and creatives who work there. I now come here to buy ceramics, candles, scents, and other beautiful goods. Whether you're a community member looking for fun, free local events, an artist searching for a studio, someone needing a coworking space, or a person wanting to host an event -- this space is amazing. A huge shoutout to the owner Katherine for her incredible vision in creating such a breathtaking and meaningful wedding space. Flora is not just a venue -- it's an experience. You can feel the intention behind every detail, from the living greenery to the thoughtfully designed layout. It truly transforms into a romantic garden sanctuary in the heart of San Diego. Jade is amazzzzing, she was organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day everything we envisioned. By the time the wedding day arrived, we felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands. The entire day flowed seamlessly. We're also so grateful to Robin for coordinating the bar and stepping in to help throughout the day of the wedding. The bar service was wonderful, and our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the bartenders -- friendly, professional, and so efficient. And a special thank you to Jameson for being part of the process from start to finish. Having someone so involved and supportive throughout our planning journey meant so much to us. Flora exceeded every expectation we had. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and unique the space was. When we first toured the venue, immediately Katherine (owner) took the extra step that we didn't see across other venues to truly welcome us. Other venue tours felt transactional, Katherine/Flora worked with us with genuine interest and warmth from the moment introductions began. Beyond Katherine, our coordinators Sydney, Erin, and Jameson answered our (many) questions with grace and professionalism, and helped us map out the vision of our wedding every step of the way. Additionally, they exhibited their expertise throughout, giving us recommendations or considerations we had not even thought of, which we were then extremely grateful for afterwards. The day of the wedding, their communication not only with us but all vendors involved was perfect. Even when we had a 30 minute adjustment to our timeline, they handled it with ease and coordinated everything perfectly, allowing us to simply enjoy and revel in being newlyweds. There wasn't a single minute we had to worry or wonder, they had it all under control. Lastly, the venue itself is beautiful and highly customizable. Guests particularly commented on the lighting changes (we had 8, apologies again to staff), magnificent frosted glass windows, and overall impeccable ambience throughout. You will not be disappointed with the options available. Having our wedding at Flora truly paid off in every imaginable way. Our only regret is now that the wedding is over, we will likely not have more opportunities to interact and plan with the staff in the future. Thank you again to Katherine, Sydney, Jameson, and Erin, we are truly grateful for all that Flora provided.

A bar was located on the opposite side of the venue and restrooms behind as well as a nice sitting area near it. Loved the yummy hors d'oeuvres that was served too! The bacon wrapped scallops were the best!! Not sure how the packages for weddings work here but given the space inside for all things possible and being across the street from Petco Park, I'd say this is a nice spot to have weddings at!!
