Liz was great at making me feel comfortable, explaining every step, and explaining realistic expectations. She made a point to get to know me and my hair which is really reassuring. He gave me a gorgeous, dimensional balayage that added depth and lightness in all the right places--super natural and flattering. This was back in August, and the toner he used lasted for ages. I only just recently redyed my hair back to my natural color, and it had held up beautifully until then. Josue was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly professional. We all went in with a few Pinterest photos to show what we wanted. I always go into these types of appointments with low expectations for my hair actually matching the photo. A lot of that is due to the fact that everyone's hair is different and every hair stylist has his/her own interpretation of said photo. It's not always a bad thing and in many cases the stylist knows what will work and what won't. Reece did a wonderful job with my hair. It was a low bun with a few braids woven in. Absolutely beautiful! She combined the right elements from each photo and I was so excited with the results. One of my favorite hairstyles ever! The bride had her (curly) hair done by Brandi and it looked amazing. Then my sister in law had hers done by Brandi but we aren't quite sure what happened. The first attempt was similar to the photo shown but too high. Instead of doing the same style in a slightly different position, Brandi did something totally different. I thought it looked nice but I knew it wasn't what my SIL wanted. SIL is too nice of a person to say anything again and family stress was high so she stuck with it. We all would've been a little happier if my SIL had a style she really loved, but I understand Brandi's position of trying to adapt an idea and make it fit on the person. The salon itself looks lovely and I may go back sometime to get a hair cut when I'm in town. For future styling appointments, I recommend 2 things. 1- bring photos! It really helps the stylist to have an idea of what you want. Most of the will tell you if a style is not going to work with your face shape or hair type. 2- if you don't like the first style, tell them! You're paying good money to leave a style you love. The stylist shouldn't be offended if you say it's not quite what you wanted and would like to try it a little differently.

The staff here are extremely knowledgeable, talented, cute, and fun. The space feels very chic, with beautiful floor to ceiling front windows to let in a ton of natural light. The pink/black/white/gold color scheme is professional and way cute. It's impeccably clean. The hair washing stations and the stylist chairs are all plush and very comfortable. Not only are they always on time, but they work very efficiently. I've never once felt rushed as a client here. If you know what you want, they'll make it happen. If you're not quite sure, they'll work with you to get you looking your absolute best. You are always welcome, your requests are taken seriously, and you never feel like a burden at The Bombshell Lounge. I am ALWAYS pleased with my haircut and style at The Bombshell Lounge. Personally, I always bring a ton of pictures (although now I trust her with anything so I just tell her what I want and she makes it happen). She works quickly and makes my hair do exactly what I ask for! She also curls your hair at the end of each appointment, no matter how little or how much you cut off, so everyone can tell you've been to the salon and are looking cute! PROS: On time. Work quickly. I responded yes, following with pictures of my desired cut & color. Another 8 days passed, she never responded or opened my message. I told her never mind because It was taking too long for her to respond & I needed to have some type of child care lined up if In fact my appointment was booked? I never got a confirmation. She responded immediately about how she "posted" about how it was busy & the holidays, how her grandmother was in the hospital... also she sarcastically said "sorry I don't have time to have a full online consultation with you while my grandmother is in the hospital" ... all that is a good reason...But I just needed an confirmation. Even a simple "ok you're booked" even an "okay" would have been just fine. Hard to get an appointment or word in at this salon without being gawked at for not reading the stylist "posts on social media about her personal life".
