The Good: this gated 55+ Community is relatively quiet and overlooks a very nice Preserve to the rear along with some adjacent Apartments. It has nice amenities including pickleball, bocce ball, pool, gym with excellent equipment, yoga room, crafts room, library and piano lounge, poker and pool table. It has several areas for gatherings inside and out. Nice mail room with lock boxes and refrigerator for grocery drops. It also has several accessible walking areas, garden, and a small dog park that has been well maintained to date. The pool is ada accessible which I think is a great feature and rare... There have been scheduled indoor and outdoor activities, socials, and movies. The garden is well maintained and we haven't been confronted by any garden nazi's to date. There's a great BBQ area with two well maintained gas grills and a donated charcoal smoker. The interior is a mix of carpet and plank flooring that is relatively quiet and well maintained.
The Apartments are new with black appliances and glass top stove/ovens. Granite countertops along with carpet and plank flooring. Clothes Washer/Dryer included. Typical apartment style floorplans and sq. footage. I proly left out a few more things but I'm going to move on to the next area.
The Bad: Some interior yards and drainage at the pool area requires attention. Gutters waterfall over the top of the building instead of into downspouts which is likely caused by clogged drains/gutters or improperly installed gutters. Some Poolside lawns are very unsightly due to improper landscape drainage and lack of lawn maintenance/repair. These areas are often mucky, muddy, consistently shoddy in appearance. New Construction on an apartment building is taking place next door so noise and views could be a problem around that area for awhile.
