As I walked to him, without looking up he said "What do you want?" I was a bit surprised about his surly attitude, but replied "We have an appointment, is there someone we need to meet with?" We were met by Carlen Chestang. He asked what I needed and I explained that I need a nice suit for a reasonable price. He took my measurements and proceeded to find a suit in a color my wife liked. Carlen then helped us pick out a couple of gorgeous ties and dress shirts. He was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel like we were going to be his only customers today. Terrible! We walked in and no one greeted us. When they did, they rudely told us to sign in on their clipboard. After waiting for a 45 mins and seeing multiple people called in before us, we finally asked if we could possibly make an appointment to come back since we had other things to do. The sales associate told us no because they were busy because of prom. Listen, I totally understand that most stores are working with a Skelton crew because of the labor shortage, but a simple greeting or a heads up the wait is about x minutes, we can offer you an appointment slot would be nice. read more

I was told that if I wasn't completely satisfied with my purchase then I could return it within 90 days for a full refund. Nothing was mentioned to me about not being able to return a worn suit. I wore the suit one time to an event and didn't like it. I kept it in good condition and kept all of the tags in the little baggie that my bowtie came in. When I came in I told the manager that my intention was to exchange this suit for one that I liked better. It seemed like this would be an easy process based on what I'd heard about MW's return policy. The store manager told me that it was policy not to allow returns on worn suits. Not exactly true. After investigating the return policy on the back of the receipt it says "returns on altered or worn merchandise is at the sole discretion of the store manager." So they could have made the decision to ensure that I left the store with a suit that I was happy with. Instead they made the decision to have me leave with an unsatisfactory product and experience. The manager had the opportunity to ensure my satisfaction and make me a repeat customer. Instead I left feeling mislead and disappointed. I have many suits, but this was the first one I've bought from Men's Warehouse, and it will definitely be the last. read more

Dear Men's Wearhouse, Thank you so much for preparing my tuxedo, the the tuxedos of my groomsmen, and the many suits and tuxedos of my guests for my wedding day. We came in four months in advance for a fitting. I was a bit surprised when I was told the next and final fitting would be at 5pm only two days before the event date. However, I was assured that if any necessary alterations were necessary, they would be completed at that time. Two days before the event arrived and the five of us gentlemen entered the local store with many smiles. Those smiles soon disappeared. None of the shirts had been starched, the jackets had wrinkles and everyone's pants were too short. The pants were quickly attended to, but still had a small crease just above the cuff. The Best Man's jacket was too big. The waistline on my pants were much too short! Four inches of the shirt could be seen between the waistline and the vest. When we asked for the correct size clothing, the response we received was, "The best we can do is Saturday late morning." We were asked what time the wedding would take place. I responded at 2:30 in the afternoon, to which we received, "Oh you'll be fine. Just come in that morning at 10 when we open." I was shocked! I asked for an overnight delivery of the items, rather than second day. I was then told that that request would need to be done before 4pm for overnight operations. I asked why then was our appointment made at 5pm if they could not deliver apparel in a timely manner. The undesirable reply: "That's how we do things." On of the seamstresses told us if we arrived at 9:30am she would be there. We responded we would be there at 9:00 that morning. Much to my displeasure, I had to cancel my 9:30 Saturday brunch with my groomsmen. Saturday morning came with a beautiful sky! We pulled into the local store again. The seamstress came outside and said the delivery truck was on its way and they were the first stop. 9:30am the seamstress called me into the store and handed me a vest one or two sizes too large and said she had no other option. She did not know when the truck would arrive and that she would call when it did. Today two days after the wedding and my now wife and I are sitting at the airport awaiting our first flight of our honeymoon. Never once did my Best Man or myself get a phone call from Men's Wearhouse. My recommendation is to go elsewhere. If you utilize Men's Wearhouse, you're not gonna like the way you look. I would give this place only one star if it were not prom season when I came looking for service. I think with that in mind that I will give them one extra star out of consideration for their business. I came looking to get a suit that I had previously purchased at this location tailored only in the sleeves. I needed it by Friday and it was Tuesday. They stated that they could not do it in that timeframe. OK, I understand. The gentleman who helped me did attempt to set me up with a tailor that could do the work in the time I needed it outside their company for which I was grateful. However, I do have my own tailor and was trying to save a trip. I then proceeded to try and purchase the color of tie that I needed to match my girlfriends dress at the event this weekend. They didn't have that color. OK, I understand. It is prom season. The lady helping me then recommended that I rent a tie in the color that I needed and that it would be at the store in time. I thought that would be a good alternative to buying a color of tie I would likely never wear again and paying for 2 day shipping. Also, I have a large amount of ties already. Today is Thursday and I came in to retrieve the tie rental. As I'm walking out of the store I realize it is a clip on. The gentleman helping me tells me that all of their ties are clip ons when they are rented. I very kindly and calmly told the gentleman that I could not wear a clip on with that hideous of a knot to an event. He walked away for a moment and then came back and informed me that they could not refund my $20 or so for the clip on. Maybe I should've asked to speak to the person in charge but out of frustration I just thanked the gentleman for his time and left. I'm very disappointed in this store regarding its lack of transparency regarding the clip on rental and inability to issue a refund for an unused item. Had I known that the tie would be a clip on I would not have purchased the item. All in all I spent about 2 hours between both trips with eventually no useful service from the store and lost the $20 for an item which I never used and about which I was never informed at the time of purchase. I could have bought the correct color of tie via the internet but now I can't because the event is tomorrow. read more

With prom season happening on the heels of spring wedding season, stores like TMW can become a madhouse of short tempers and even shorter levels of patience. However, the Moore location of TMW was simply not the scene of such behaviors. Despite the chaos of prom and wedding customers filling a good portion of the store, Lisa (store manager, I took her business card when I was checking out) gave every customer the attention they deserved. My son signed in on the prom customer list, and we tried to stay out of everyone's way. We saw highly-motivated, cheerful professionals who we busy taking tuxedo orders, measuring for size, making suggestions, and helping each customer who came from a fitting room to check each suit for fit and comfort. In the middle of it all was the store manager who appeared to be orchestrating flawlessly in cramped quarters. Kudos to all the unnamed customers, who all seemed to understand the busy and hurry in the store. No one appeared inconvenienced by the chaos. When it was finally our turn to be served, the store manager herself helped my son from the start. During our time with her, several small events occurred that required her attention. She apologized each time for the interruption, but we understood entirely. My son felt like he was treated like a preferred customer from start to finish. He was fitted for a tuxedo, tried on shoes, made color and accessory choices, and was notified when he could pick up his suit in about an hour. I have to give a lot of credit to the managers and employees of this store, who worked without break for hours. They treated each customer with a smile. Personally, I'm a corporate leadership instructor and talent development specialist. I observe people in their work environment and make suggestions to enhance the work experience of everyone. I can say with confidence that Lisa sets a high standard of excellence for her employees to follow. Please keep up the good work! read more

When he rang it up, I mentioned how I thought $20 was steep for an off brand silk pocket squares. He just rolled his eyes. Now that I'm home and preparing for the event, I notice the tag says $9.99. I am very pleased with the service at this location (the store is located in Moore). Over the last two years I have purchased 3 suits and a sportscoat and have had nothing but excellent experiences. The salesmen who work there really know what they are doing. The manager, Dennis Nickell, has always made every effort to make sure I was happy. They have a great selection, even of the bigger sizes and I am very satisfied with the quality and price. Regarding the price, it doesn't include tailoring costs so don't be taken by surprise by the additional charge. read more

I understand that pool is a great game. But being more concerned with finishing your pool game than helping your customers is not what I expected from a company that prides itself on high expectations. I expected the customer service to be as a pristine as the suits. We came to this location to look at rental prices and to look into buying a suit for our wedding. The sales associate who identified himself with card as the operations manager gave us a quick run through of the rental prices while seeming more concerned with the on going pool game he had with his other associates. We decided to look around at the suits that were available to buy instead of renting. We did find a gorgeous suit and asked if they had it in his size. The same associate did not offer to measure or fit my fiancé, instead he placed his hand under my fiancé's armpits and guessed on the size. After getting the suit a few days later, we were disappointed to find that the suit was way too big, even for tailoring. When we took it back we were met again with the same attitude from the associates that were there that day. When trying to talk to an associate, they walked straight past me like I wasn't even there. The customer service was horrible. I will not be returning this this location for any future purchases. read more

I have gone through Men's Warehouse in Moore several times and have had great experiences. Unfortunately, my experience with them this past year has altered my opinion. My fiance and I are getting married this May, so we went to Men's Warehouse in December to get the groom's tux as well as the groomsmen's attire. We thought we were way ahead of the game. The customer service at Christmas time was wonderful, mainly due to an employee named Chase (who no longer works there). We ended up buying all of the attire and were told to bring the items back in March to be fitted. We were reassured time and time again that our order would be ready before May, even the suit for our best man who lives in Boston would be ready. Sadly, this is not the case. When we went to go get the suits altered, we inquired as to when our best man in Boston would receive his suit. We were then told that he would have to go to the store in Boston, get the sizes for all the pieces up there, have the Boston store send the Moore store his sizes, then the Moore store would send the items to the Boston store, and he could go there to pick up his items and then get them altered (which takes an additional 3 weeks). Sound like a headache yet? Immediately after we were told this, the best man went to the store in Boston, got his sizes, and the store sent the information to the Moore store. We were sent an email saying that all of the sizes had been received and the shipment had been sent. We assumed the situation had been taken care of. We thought wrong. The best man called us to let us know that the shipment had not yet arrived to the Boston store. The Moore store manager called us about a week ago (the last week of April) wanting to confirm the sizes that were to be shipped because she was going to place the order that afternoon. We were flabbergasted. Had this not already been done? Is that not what the email said? We double checked the email and sure enough, it said the items had been sent (granted, this was an email from the manager, not a confirmation email from the company). After explaining to us that the items had not yet been shipped, the Moore manager assured us the items would be in Boston by the following Friday. Bet you can guess what did not arrive in Boston that Friday. Only the belt and tie arrived. No pants, shoes, shirt, or vest. Again, we called the Moore manager and told her that the items had still not arrived. She told us that we could pay an additional fee for rush shipping and alterations, but why should we have to pay when we were the ones who take care of the situation months in advance? The Boston store and the Moore store have not been in contact with one another, but instead have had us go back and forth trying to figure out where the attire is. So here we are, 18 days before the wedding and less than a week until our best man comes into town, and we have no clothes for him (and if they arrived in time by some miracle, there would be no time to get it altered). To say I am frustrated is an understatement. After spending thousands of dollars buying the apparel instead of renting, and getting it all ordered six months before we needed it, I would expect much better customer service than this. It is safe to say that we will not be shopping at Men's Warehouse again. read more
