We had 2 adults and 2 kids (8 and 10), so rented 2 boards, since the kids couldn't really do much paddling themselves. It worked out perfect. The guy was very helpful to put the boards on the rental car, and they even let you borrow a couple rubber roof racks and straps. Was super easy and super fast. He did ask if we wanted a dry bag, but then never gave it to us. I also forgot about it until we got to the river. Parking at the river was a bit of a pain, but we did find a spot and hit the water. It was a great afternoon in Kauai and so good that there was also a destination to the waterfall. The waterfall was pretty cool, and this was a great excursion at a reasonable price. Give it a try and get a good workout!

There was ample space for all of us on this boat with comfortable cushions to sit on inside and outside of the boat. We were able to catch 2 large yellowfin tuna. One person caught a 110, and we caught a 140 lb tuna. There was plenty of fish to go around and the crew cleaned and cut the fish for all of us to take home. Me and my boyfriend were able to take home several loins and otoro the fatty part of the tuna. I can't speak for everyone else but me and my boyfriend enjoyed ourselves and would consider doing this tour again if we come back again. The crew and captain were all good people and very helpful and enthusiastic.

Three out of the four people aboard were throwing up the whole trip. Additionally, we did not catch a thing. Can't exactly blame the Captain, as we did fined several bait balls, but I suspect the roughness of the water did not make the lures too attractive. Considering we paid a $1,000 to fish I was very disappointed and with their eight day cancellation policy, we had now way to get out of the trip. Impossible to predict the weather, I know, but really? Were they that booked or starving for customers that they didn't offer a refund or opportunity to reschedule? Buyer beware
