Menards has everything you need (from groceries, stationery, tools to garden). It is a combination of multiple stores but better than a typical home improvement store. It's a huge store and You'll somehow find all your needs here. The selection of products were amazing and well organized. They have a huge collection and are graciously stocked. I had shopped lots of planters during summer. Comparatively, prices are decent and the quality is good. They had new variety of products everytime I went. Customer service can be better. Sometimes it's hard to find helpers in the garden section. But when they are available they were friendly and helpful. This has been one of my favorite store for my garden needs. They take social distancing seriously and cleaned the card reader after each customer visit. I enjoyed my shopping here, I would recommend this store! read more

I went to Menards to purchase some bathroom remodeling materials. I found the items but needed help with ordering. This is not an easy task. You can hardly find anyone in certain areas. I found someone and was directed to the correct person. Most are not very friendly people but they are knowledgeable. I was helped by Roz who knows her stuff. She asked questions, got my order together and walked me to the shipping area to have it set up for delivery. I asked one of the guys about installers and he stated that flyers were at the end of the counter. I looked but I did not go far enough I guess. He sounded frustrated and said the END of the counter. I tried not to take it personally but he did finally come and show me. The lady that helped with shipping was friendly and helpful. Overall, I got what I wanted. I will update later on how the delivery and install goes. read more

I purchased a laminate countertop in June of last year. It had to be replaced. And the second one was approved to be replaced as well because there are stress lines in it. But they want me to bring the counter top to the store before they can replace it like I did the first time. But I have all the backsplash, paneling and cabinets already installed. And it would damage all the work that I've had done already. I can't afford to do it a third time. I've had a laminate countertop before and it was just fine the quality of this laminate countertop is awful. I wish they would just give me a full refund for the stress and Anxiety that I'm going through. I don't want to go through small claims court. read more

I give you menards 4 stars for cleanliness. I give you 2 stars for having hardly any help. I give you 1 star for having 0 handicapped accessible carts or anything at the entrance for use by a handicapped person. But then I give you 0 stars for telling me that the double sided velcro strips are at aisle 70 by paints. So I hobble over to aisle 70 and there is no double sided velcro tapes. So then I hobble back to the entrance and lady says ohh some are right here by the entrance. By this time my backs hurting and I have one idea in mind. What a selection! Every time I go in here for something I need I find other things I want - and need! Their lighting display is something to behold all on its own.  Bring your sunglasses. The staff is always supportive and interested.  I recently went there making inquiries about siding and I got all my questions answered and left with materials I needed for the job.  The system they have for rebates is not only worthwhile to the pocketbook it's fun and interesting.  I don't remember seeing anything like it at any other store. The place is kept clean and neat.  Once you get oriented with the signage it is easy to make your way around.  If you get lost or turned around - find a clerk - and you can actually find them in Menard's. The only thing that is odd is the checkout.  I still don't get it.  I feel like I am going the wrong way or something.  It always comes out alright, though.  You see - you put your things on the conveyor and they move along and sometimes you take care of checking yourself and sometimes the omnipresent cashier assists.  The line between myself and the next customer behind me is a little blurred,  however.  The only think I would change there is that last interaction at the register.  It's different from any other store and I can see its appeal but if one little thing doesn't go right, like, having a question about a bar code, and the line gets bolloxed up. Menards 11% off promotion is a scam. I have tried to receive rebates for this promotion several times. I never receive the rebate certificates. I am still waiting to receive rebates from March 2023. They said they would reissue them to me again in December, 2023. I still have not received them. This follows a pattern that I have experienced for several years with Menards. Look at all the negative reviews and complaints for Rebates International, which runs this program for Menards. Be warned! I am a builder and I am no longer sourcing materials from Menards due to this. read more

Guess what there is no price for the product above it. It's not a matter of product shift or Price tag shift. The price for this product does not exist. They constantly make you think you are buying a product for the price on the shelf, it is rarely the case at Menards, especially Belleville Menards. I'm surprised that this location doesn't get great reviews. It's always more mellow than the Ann Arbor location, the staff is friendly and helpful and the prices are very competitive. The customer service here is hit or miss. Today I visited this location and the staff was very rude. As I'm pushing my buggy to go to the isle needed down one of the employees decided to stop in front of me in my tracks with rolling cart. He didn't even say excuse me. It's like he stopped in front of me on purpose. There was another lady with him and she knew I was looking for something but never attempted to ask. As soon as I go by them I go down a few isles and still can't find what I'm looking for. A gentlemen walks by and they asked did he need help. HELLLLOOOO, where was that curtesy when I was around. I felt some type of way. I proceed toward the employees to ask where an item was located. She led me in the right direction but guess what it wasn't there. I don't know but they need to be more like Home Depot when the employees stop and ask you if you need help and then proceed to walk to the item. read more

I have been frequenting Menards since they first opened last year on Bellville Road, and its worth the extra 10 minutes it takes me in travel time. There is Always somebody there when you need to ask a question, and the service is far and away the best of any big box supplier in this area. Big shout out for putting in the work!! read more

Very nice, new and clean. They offer a lot of home products to do upgrades to your home. Prices are competitive with your local Home Depot and Lowe's. Definitely would visit here again as it's close than the other two stores. read more

I needed a copy of a receipt for a Lawnboy lawn mower I purchased last year for the warranty to be honored. This store customer service - Cory told me to go through their website because I didn't have a physical card as I have a new credit card so I couldn't go in the store and slide a card to pull the receipt. I called my bank and they were able to give me the card and the expiration date but not the security code. The website said that it was not an online order and then screen shot the store contact information for me to call them. Cory told me he can't do it. My purchase was about 6/26/2018 My bank is outraged and said that's impossible as well as Lawnboy's own representative. Menards would not help me at all. I used this lawnmower 1 month and it stopped working. I wasn't looking for money back just the receipt to honor the repair. I see throughout the internet and the BBB (who says Menards has an F rating) that this company has the worst customer service. I really think all the 4-5 star ratings should read this review before making their rating or have a complaint. Watch what happens. This isn't the first time I've had problems with customer service. The Livonia store is a lot worst and when Belleville opened up, I was hoping for a change. Nope. read more

I've been here probably a dozen times since mask enforcement started and never been informed that toddlers are required to wear masks or be in the cart. My little one is just shy of two. Today we had a female employee approach us on our way out and very rudely say "he needs to be in a cart if he doesn't have a mask on." I saw no signage or any other information telling me this on the way in. She was the third or so employee we'd encountered, no one else said anything. We'd encountered dozens in the past visits, no one had ever said anything. I was taken aback with the shear rudeness she approached us with. I see on Menard's website that this is their policy for children. It says nothing about toddlers. Even so, if this is Menard's policy, I have no problem abiding by it. Just train your employees to be consistent and not incredibly rude about it. It felt like she was ready to fight me about it - All I responded with was that we were leaving anyway (we had already passed the checkouts and were feet from the exit). I wont be back to this Menards until at least the end of the pandemic. read more

This place just is somewhere I have tried my best to really give a chance. But my trips out have to be productive. I make an effort to shop responsibly and shop locally. But I'm over it back to home depot for good. Can't find help when you do the seem annoyed Or actually run. Hands down the absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced from a home improvement store. Their online order tracking page states for shipping status send email to the shipping center. The shipping center does not accept emails. Attempted to call their corporate office, recording states this number is disconnected and does not offer a valid number. Went back to the store (70 mile drive), I was advised my item may arrive in 2-3 weeks. When I ordered I was not advised of the 2-3 week delay. When I advised the employee I wanted to cancel the order, I was advised if cancelled the would charge me $250 and there was no recourse. How does this place keep its doors open. Seems they have lower quality of products. Have had to return things more than once. I also hear people complaining since they only have 2 electric chairs for the handicap and the company does not care and will not get more. The other day I asked if someone could help me. This young guy said he could. I am planning on a bathroom remodel and had purchase my porcelain tile but still needed fixtures for the new shower and sink and wall items. I asked this guy for any thing that was eco friendly or had less chemicals since I had a bad illness and had to be very careful of what I purchase. He said; Lady, Do you see all these shelves full of items all over this large store? I said yes...wondering what is going on? Then he said; Everything on those shelves are safe or we would not be selling them. I could not say a word. My mind was swirling. Does not this employee read or listen or seen the news or know about cancers and such? Had not he picked up some of the shower head and read that it has a cancer warning as well as many other items in that store? Someone best wake up the employees before they cause great harm to others. I left without a word and no items.
