Stress lines don't get any better.

I purchased a laminate countertop in June of last year. It had to be replaced. And the second one was approved to be replaced as well because there are stress lines in it. But they want me to bring the counter top to the store before they can replace it like I did the first time. But I have all the backsplash, paneling and cabinets already installed. And it would damage all the work that I've had done already. I can't afford to do it a third time. I've had a laminate countertop before and it was just fine the quality of this laminate countertop is awful. I wish they would just give me a full refund for the stress and Anxiety that I'm going through. I don't want to go through small claims court.

Menards Belleville from a handicapped perspective.

I give you menards 4 stars for cleanliness. I give you 2 stars for having hardly any help. I give you 1 star for having 0 handicapped accessible carts or anything at the entrance for use by a handicapped person. But then I give you 0 stars for telling me that the double sided velcro strips are at aisle 70 by paints. So I hobble over to aisle 70 and there is no double sided velcro tapes. So then I hobble back to the entrance and lady says ohh some are right here by the entrance. By this time my backs hurting and I have one idea in mind. The faster I get to my car the faster I am out of here, bye Menards thanks for nothing.

What a selection! Every time I go in here for something I need I find other things I want - and need! Their lighting display is something to behold all on its own.  Bring your sunglasses. The staff is always supportive and interested.  I recently went there making inquiries about siding and I got all my questions answered and left with materials I needed for the job.  The system they have for rebates is not only worthwhile to the pocketbook it's fun and interesting.  I don't remember seeing anything like it at any other store. The place is kept clean and neat.  Once you get oriented with the signage it is easy to make your way around.  If you get lost or turned around - find a clerk - and you can actually find them in Menard's. The only thing that is odd is the checkout.  I still don't get it.  I feel like I am going the wrong way or something.  It always comes out alright, though.  You see - you put your things on the conveyor and they move along and sometimes you take care of checking yourself and sometimes the omnipresent cashier assists.  The line between myself and the next customer behind me is a little blurred,  however.  The only think I would change there is that last interaction at the register.  It's different from any other store and I can see its appeal but if one little thing doesn't go right, like, having a question about a bar code, and the line gets bolloxed up. I recommend Menard's for price, quality and variety of products.

Constant false advertising. When you see this what price do you think this is?

Won't let me shop with my child. That's just garbage. Can never get any help in the store. Just go to Home Depot. Better service anyway

This review is based off of the Tulip Fields:…read more Plenty of parking, you sign a waiver before even purchasing a ticket (and you give your address and phone number), and then you can purchase a ticket using only credit card and other electronic options (no cash accepted). Tickets are $25/person and kids under 23 months are free! You have to walk a quarter of a mile to get to the main flower fields. It was not ideal for my FIL who has pain walking too much (it's not really worth paying for the tractor ride there either). They have lots of unique activities like a tractor pull that you can attempt for free and tires that kids can climb and take pics on. There is a "U pick" field where Tulips are $2/stem. That's expensive, no thank you! Then when you keep walking, there is a section where they have better bathrooms than the portapotties. And there are snacks like lemonade and you can even roast marshmallows! And then after that section, there is the flower field. I think it will be more worth it once my baby is older and can play on the playground and other activities like using their bikes.

Cooler weather on Mother's Day this year but not too bad flowers farther back looked the best so tip next time walk furthest away to pick for freshest flowers. We did not have any of the foods or snacks, but there's plenty to definitely spend a day there with tables and sitting. Paid for tickets online simple scan. Would recommend for family events weather permitting.

This is where I wish negative stars came into play…read more I decided I wanted to get a substantial amount of work done, and I didn't have the time to do it myself as I'd just moved into a new house. I searched and found a locally based company, less than 5 minutes away, and decided to give them first shot at a quote. The owner, Randy Brown (aka Randy Brown Landscaping) came to my house on a Saturday morning and walked through the job with me. It consisted of removing a large number of weeds in the flower beds, trimming trees and bushes, treating with Snap Shot herbicide, and laying down 10 yards of cedar mulch. The cost was over $1,800. We talked at length about the removal process and what were weeds and what were not (he's the expert, right?) and the process that would be used. The day came and three young men came and started work. I'm not the type to babysit and I had other things I was working on so I left them to the work. 8 hours later (we talked periodically throughout the day) they reported that they were done. I did a superficial check and things did look much better, so I sent them on their way. The next day I took a closer look and saw several areas that didn't look weeded at all, and some of one 3' weed in particular still remained in the back bed I hadn't previously checked. I called and talked with Randy and he said he's send someone by to fix the issues. Two weeks later, nobody had showed up, and now a substantial amount of weeds were reappearing through the mulch. I took it upon myself to start pulling some of them, and found that the mulch had been thrown over existing weeds as a cover up instead of actually removing them. The amount of mulch also left me to seriously question if to yards of mulch had been used. The mulch that was put down was laid completely unevenly, and even covered existing stepping stone walkways. I spent 2 hours weeding, barely making a dent, and then called and left a message for Randy. I called back 3~4 times after that and never got a return call or any acknowledgement. I wished I'd paid by credit card, as I would have challenged the payment in a minute! I am seriously disappointed that I spent so much money, with a local company, and I got such awful results. I was ready to use this company as my go-to landscaping company. Now all I can do is warn others about the empty promises and shabby business practices of Randy Brown Landscaping, aka Brown Randy Landscaping, aka The Gardeners Choice.
