Dr. Henderson started sending me to a Dr. Weaver at Semmes Murphy. They were sending me back and fourth but couldn't give me any reasons why. As time went on every appointment got very expensive and they could never give me an answer why I was sent to doctor Weaver. Looking back now I was latterly just giving him money for nothing. Then things took a turn for the worst for me. I had a full blown seizure and was rushed to the hospital. Over the next two years I was in and out of the hospital unable to make payments to Dr. Henderson and unable to make 3 appointments that were scheduled. I was unable to drive and could not get to those appointments. As a result Dr. Henderson and the Neurology clinec relised me and not one docter will see me. After getting the care I needed in the hospital I have made payments explained why I misssed the appointments but they did not care. Again I missed THREE! During that time I missed several other appointments with other doctors and they have been nothing but understanding and have continued to see me. I have never in my life none any Doctor or doctors office to turn a patience away because they missed three appointments. I know that there time is valuable but so is me life and the well being of others. I would still like to know why I was sent to Dr. Weaver only to pay money and never any answers. By far the worst Doctor worst Doctors office I have ever dealt with. I have requested medical records so I can see another Neurologist but have not heard from anyone.

I was referred to Dr. Cardenas after experiencing a year of shoulder pain and recent pains in my…read moreneck by my primary care physician. My primary care physician had ordered a MRI to be done at the hospital which showed a herniated disk touching my spine and moderate spinal canal stenosis. I was very nervous being referred to a neurosurgeon, but Dr. Cardenas eased my worries, due to his professionalism and knowledge of spine issues. He recommended that I have ACDF surgery two weeks after my initial visit. I really was happy that my pain was taken seriously and everything far as pre-surgery prep was done my first visit. Many test were performed, and before I left I found out the numbness in my ring and pinky finger was caused by a compressed nerve in my elbow. I've previously had a tingling sensation in my elbow, but I thought it was from me leaning on it. So...SPINE AND ELBOW SURGERY two weeks later. Dr. Cardenas staff was extremely helpful. Nurse Bonnie addressed all of my concerns leading up to surgery. I looked up YouTube videos of the procedures that would be performed on me. I had a million questions, and nurse Bonnie replied to me immediately through the Semmes Murphey portal, which I received a login my first visit. She also called me a couple of times as well. Days before surgery I couldn't take certain medications, and those reminders were given verbally and by handouts. I wasn't nervous at all until day of surgery.....talk about butterflies. We arrived about 6:30 a.m. at Semmes Murphy. The surgery facility is on the second floor and there's a waiting room for family/friends to wait in. It didn't take long at all for me to be called to the back. I was prepped for surgery as soon as I went back to my room. The nurse started an IV..while different people from the surgery team introduced themselves. I was terrified lol. I don't know if it was the medicine in the IV or nerves but I was freezing. Hospital staff brought in multiple warm blankets, but I was still freezing. I can remember telling them that I wasn't ready to be put to sleep. I guess they saw I was very nervous and the anesthesiologist came in so I knew it was about that time. She put medicine in my IV and a couple of other nurses came to transfer me to a different bed to wheel me out. Last thing I remember was one of the nurses asking me if I like to travel and I said yes I love traveling....and then lights out for about 4 hours for me. It only seemed like minutes when I woke up with a neck brace on and staples in my elbow with an arm sling. The staff definitely took very good care of me and I appreciate all the support they have provided.

VERY uncomfortable and about four PAINFUL. The second testing was NEEDLES poked into places on the legs. ALL were uncomfortable many painful. THREE were VERY painful with me objecting to the sticks. I was told I must have hit a nerve you have slight bleeding. The stick site is still sore 24 hours later. I have six spots on my legs that have small bruises. I then find out though a neurologist who said yes you have neuropathy and the only thing we can do is try these supplements. WHY DID I DO THIS PAINFUL TEST???!!!!! ASK and find out exactly about the test why you need it and is it really necessary. And this test is NOT cheap. Ask ASK ASk

We either got around to my questions or I was able to add those to the end of our discussion. Dr. Wright carefully went over his findings and why he came to certain conclusions. He then offered a range of treatment options, explaining each in depth. Reviews caused me great concern before I met Dr. Wright. I should not have worried. When I respectfully let him do his job and use the mind and experience I had hired, everything went smoothly. He was generous with his time and proactive about immediately finding MRI results that were supposed to be in my file but were not. Highly highly recommend!
