Still, they do have their fair share of actual surplus (helmets, gas masks, sniper veils, ammo cases, etc), and other things like throwing daggers. The guy working the counter was pouring gunpowder into a funnel while we were looking over the snake venom extractors and NASA-made urine bags. Looked like he was filling bullets. Helpful guy.

I just wanted to sell my ring for scrap, which is something they can do on the spot (for free). I was informed that they only care about the metal, not the stones and gems in a ring. Their cash offer was too low for me but they said if I would rather have store credit, they'd double the offer. I really appreciated how pleasant my experience was even if I didn't end up doing business with them.

Not impressed. My main takeaway from our visit was that they do not know the first thing about…read morebeing courteous or welcoming. The man behind the counter on Wednesday afternoon seemed bothered that we had a question for him. It was very obvious he wanted us to know how annoyed he was. We had heard him speaking to one customer constantly for the past 10 minutes, having a normal conversation, so we know he was capable of speaking respectfully but he chose not to with us. No idea why our inquiry about the new Littlest Pet Shop line was such a bother. Also, it's odd that a toy store isn't familiar with this line of toys or with the brand "Basic Fun". We're brand new to the area, and can already tell there are some folks out here who live under a rock. Hoping to find other toy and hobby stores (or maybe we should open our own!).

Looking forward to seeing what else comes in during Spring and supporting this local nursery when I decide what trees I'm buying.

The owner did a lovely job of curating and merchandising, and she is fun to chat with. It also smells nice lol. The items are farmhouse, boho, chic, and eclectic-- not wild, goofy, or necessarily fun. It is really easy to miss this store as there is only a little "vintage" sign pointing you toward the parking lot-- the store isn't visible while driving by. The parking lot is clean, and easy to get in and out.
