I stopped by this little "gem" (no pun intended) just to have a look, and I happened to be in there with a very passionate customer who left with a whole box of minerals to use in his own collection. Anyone who have been to the American Museum of Natural History in NYC's mineral and enjoyed it will certainly spend a while browsing the drawers in here. The front door opens up to the warehouse, so just walk right through to the end which is the gift shop. Ace makes jewelry by hand, and also takes custom orders. I left with a bunch of fossil shark teeth and a brachiopod (a thing that looks like a clam but isn't even closely related) from the Paleozoic. I'll be back soon!

Noticed that the other Male customer was not wearing a mask. But she raised her voice to me to put my mask on. Hummm could this be because I was looking at a $25 item and he was looking at a $200 item? I would have given her 5 stars on her selection. But her prices were a bit high and her Customer service sucked.

The owner did a lovely job of curating and merchandising, and she is fun to chat with. It also smells nice lol. The items are farmhouse, boho, chic, and eclectic-- not wild, goofy, or necessarily fun. You will find art, sculpture, baskets, maps, tableware, furniture, chests, clothing, and coffee table tchotchkes. It is really easy to miss this store as there is only a little "vintage" sign pointing you toward the parking lot-- the store isn't visible while driving by. The parking lot is clean, and easy to get in and out.

I try to support local businesses, especially during the holidays, but they all but chased my kids and I out of this store when we were shopping. They were constantly correcting my children for handling items that they were looking at. They were the customers, not me, I was just a wallet. If someone is figuring out whether or not they want to buy something it should be expected that they are going to pick it up. I was there as the parent and completely capable of correcting my children when they are touching something they can't afford to break. I probably won't come back after this. I could likely find most of these items on-line anyways. I was extremely close to just walking out without buying the items we picked out because I was so put off by the shopkeepers behavior, but my kids had invested too much time picking items out and would have been upset if we left without them. Never again.
