    - I read your comments and concerns however the people including myself that were yelled at,…read moredisrespected and cursed weren't responsible for everything you are mentioning at all. To address this matter even further as far as damages and the venue being left with extensive cleaning, and soiled drapes ( I'm assuming wet drapery, where alcohol is involved) pretty common in your line of business I would assume ) and vomit in the bathroom. How is it the fault of mine or my associates that were assisting in removal, how ? You cannot blame or excuse your behavior of the few on the many. We were guests at this event and then bystanders while waiting for the equipment to be broken down and beverages packed and escorted out within the hour time frame to clean. My issue is regarding your professionalism and being disrespected. ** Luckily I will not post the video I took of you yelling several profanities, lies, and also stating leave, don't bother to clean just get " F " out repeatedly while having your several security guards try to calm you down almost an hour before the time everyone was supposed to leave. Maybe that's why no one else stayed back to clean to your standards after everything was removed. I will not post it, but simply mention it because we're both adults and I'm sure you're aware of your behavior and the goal is not to embarrass but enlighten you. I'm not unfair in the sense that you were frustrated for the reasons you are claiming, however your anger was misplaced and directed towards the WRONG INDIVIDUALS. The person/team that booked you, these are issues that you speak directly to them. Not go on an uncontrollable rampage of misplaced anger and blame on anyone and everyone within your view. You don't criminalize a bystander for something they did not do. As a grown man you should know better than to scream at women that way even if that wasn't your initial intentions. Myself and those you behaved that way with were not responsible for everything you're clearly upset about. If you're talking about safety precautions, and the usual banter most businesses use to salvage their reputation, doesn't apply to what my complaint is. It is your behavior is what made most of the females in attendance feel unsafe, uncomfortable and disrespected. And as far as how long you've been in business for, I live a few blocks away literally, you're not well known in a positive light. Refer to the other reviews with similar experiences in a different context. I am sorry you feel that way, but as someone in attendance I'm entitled to share my experience whether it's positive or negative. Hopefully you can take your behavior into consideration and account for your future clients, and I do actually wish you well. I can understand when someone is frustrated but that doesn't excuse accountability for your actions.

From start to finish Jacqueline was always on top of our needs. Good energy Good vibes Good service. The only hiccup was the AC- although it was working, the air didn't cool us off much... however, this was a dance workshop which generated a lot of body heat in the middle of a July 2023 heatwave. So it was expected to be a lil uncomfortable. Overall, the space was excellent and the experience was excellent. Thank you Sandra! and a very special thank you to Jacqueline and the gentleman that worked tiredlessly to make our night special!

    PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS...THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. IF I COULD GIVE THUMBS…read moreDOWN INSTEAD OF THE MINIMUM 1 STAR, I WOULD!!! I was throwing my mom a 75th birthday party and needed to rent party furniture. I usually rent from a professional and reputable company, but they no longer offer marquee numbers/letters. So I googled for some, and UNFORTUNATELY, this "business" came up. I called and made an appointment with Melinda to meet at their storefront the next day. I was on time, but after about 20 mins of no one showing up or answering the number on their awning, I was about to leave when Melinda called apologizing saying her husband Dean was on his way. He showed up about 10 mins later, nonchalantly, and showed me the royal chair and a set of numbers. I pointed out to him that the chair he was showing me was dirty and was missing the gold pillow like displayed in the picture on the website. He advised me that the chair was used the night before and was not cleaned yet, and they had several chairs and would make sure the chair I rent would be cleaned and the pillow available. I sent Melinda the information for the party as well as my info and requested a detailed invoice be sent to me. Although I sent the information immediately, I had to request the invoice again and even asked if I needed to go with another business. Melinda sent the invoice with the WRONG date even though I sent her a copy of the invitation. I had to request that the correct date be put on the invoice and resent. I made sure to even text them the day before reminding them about the time and to make sure to bring the gold pillow, which, NEITHER ONE OF THEM RESPONDED. Maybe if they had bothered responding, then the day of the party may not have been such a disaster. The drop-off time was 1pm, but when Dean was not there by 1:30, I called and inquired about his ETA. He answered and assured me he would be there soon. I had another person creating balloon arches and pillars that were supposed to go alongside the chair and around the marquee numbers. By 2pm, I called Dean again, and he stopped picking up my calls. I called again, and Melinda answered. I explained that Dean was an hr late which she responded " I thought your drop off time was 2pm". I resent the invoice that she sent me and requested she give me an ETA from Dean. She said she would call me back, which she did not. Her response was that he will be there before the party begins. The person that was going to create the arch around the marquee numbers could not wait any longer for the chair and numbers to show up and had to leave so the decor was not what I wanted which I expressed to Melinda who didn't seem to care. Dean did not show up until about 2:45 (Yes almost 2hrs late!). The chair had scratches all over it, which Dean claimed it was the best he could do. Then I asked for the gold pillow, which he stated they could not find and said he would go to Broadway and buy one and bring it back before the party or compensate me for it. After he allegedly left to find a gold pillow, I sent a picture of the bulb blown out on the 5 that was noticeable when lit. I asked if they had more bulbs, and after 45mins, which was after the party started, Melinda finally responded and said Dean would bring one. I had to get a bulb and do it myself because, as expected, Dean didn't come right back. In fact we were well into the party when he did. Please see all attached photos and text messages between me and Melinda before considering dealing with this "business". They were extremely unprofessional and down right just don't care about their customers. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. I expressed how important my mother's 75th birthday was to me and how I wanted everything perfect for her, but they could care less. To make matters worse, when I requested the compensation for Dean coming almost 2 hrs late, changing the decor drastically, not supplying the pillow and giving me numbers with blown out bulbs, Melinda cared so little that she offered me a whopping 10% refund. I paid $350, so for all the inconvenience they caused, in her mind, $35 makes it all better. PLEASE TRY ANY OTHER BUSINESS BUT THIS ONE. Learn from my mistakes.

    I'd love to take this time to leave another amazing review. This time AIO HOSTED our baby shower…read moreevent and they were ahead of schedule and the set up/crew were super nice! They quickly set up asked preference questions and were super accommodating despite the oddness of our yard. We ordered a 50ft tent (commercial grade) 80 chairs/tables, and an enormous obstacle course bounce house (33ft dragon). Needless to say, the bouncy was a hit (best rental). I was able to enjoy my baby shower with minimal child traffic and that meant very much to me. In addition, we rented a cotton candy machine and pop corn machine which was also a hit. Look no further, AIO will go where ever you are (I'm located in NJ). Prices are reasonable and the process to reserve is super seamless! Thank you again to the staff who assisted us all the way through! Hercules Family!

Your representative came at 3;20. It took them 30 min to set up. Then , I was told the second bounce castle could not be set up because the inflator was not working . It took 45 min for the replacement to arrive . It came at 4:50 pm. It was very disappointing and then I asked the guys to get the other stuff up and running , popcorn, churros ,cotton candy. They were not able to communicate because they were Spanish speaking individuals and so further delay in getting the carnival started , I call the office and the person there was able to tell them what to do. While I appreciate the fact that they stayed and helped out which was not apart of the original contract it was a disaster , I paid for 150 churros to be served 3 boxes of 50 came only two boxes were open and one box unopened and went back with your staff. They were complaints the churros were cold as well. To be fair workers stayed until 630 to try make up but most parents started picking up at 6 pm which was the end time for the carnival. so I really didn't see the need to stay over 6pm. All in all our experience with your service was horrible to be honest. This was a poor reflection on customer service provided by your company. I trust that you will speak to your staff, and let them know the importance of being on time, and checking equipment before hand to ensure everything is working properly before doing an event etc. I didn't get a solid hour worth of what I paid for, with all the issues that happened. This was to be a fun end of program activity for the students. It was a disaster. Today is 12/6/2024 , six month since the event after three emails and four telephone call to the company and no one ever responded.

The Decor Stop (Mala, owner) exudes all these traits and more! Our chosen place to host our event was Dave & Buster's in the Palisades Mall (look for their favorable review). The search started when my wife contacted several companies for our wedding shower (The Decor Stop was #5 on list). Mala was the first (the other 4 didn't bother responding) to return our call and right away, we knew we were dealing with a professional. Mala took the time to know exactly what we wanted so she can create an unforgettable event. She was engaging and pleasant to speak with. She even called throughout the planning process to check how we were doing overall and offering any other help we might need. Discussions over phone, emails, texts, pics, videos were all part of the planning. Even with all that info, Mala needed to physically see the space so she would have a better feeling for what she could offer and boy did she deliver! The place was absolutely stunning! My wife has a talent for decoration and planning but even she was so blown away. Mala and her team worked with Tracey seamlessly, implementing her creative touches. Mala takes pride in her work and it shows from the initial discussion to the final goodbyes. We felt more like good friends than clients. We highly recommended The Decor Stop for your special events.
