We have been on the "greatest taco in our area" hunt for about a year. Memo's is one of our top faves. My husband and daughter tried it without me one Saturday afternoon. They described in mouth-watering detail how good it was. I forced them to take me the next week. We have been back many times since then. The tacos are always good, and we have tried quite the variety. The barria tacos are a favorite of both my adult-ish kids (19 and 17). The tortas are fantastic. We haven't had a bad meal. The hot sauce is perfect. Service can be a little slow, especially if they are busy filling to-go orders. Silver lining... food is freshly made and hot! I absolutely love their food here!! Especially their flautas! Large portion, absolutely more than enough for one person. I've also had their cheese enchiladas and their nachos and both are absolutely amazing too. Definitely no complaints on the portions. Even the small nachos. I consider large. I've been here many times to take food home as I live pretty close. The food is always hot when I get home and it is extremely fresh. I've never been disappointed with them. Went here tonight with my husband, as we wanted to try them out. We decided to eat in, and we were able to sit right away. We were given chips and salsa, and the chips were good and crispy. However, the salsa could have used some more salt and lime, but it wasn't bad. I got three tacos, two asada and one al pastor. The tacos were good! The tortillas were corn and had good flavor. The meat wasn't fatty and it was cooked well. I even enjoyed the pork, as some places make their al pastor too wet. The only thing that could have made them better would be the price; $3.50 per taco is expensive! Especially as these were street tacos. My husband had the burrito dinner, and he ordered a chili relleno taco. He did order his burrito with avocado and sour cream ($1.00 extra), but there was no avocado and sour cream in his burrito. That's okay, as we realize that the workers are still finding their flow with everything. He said the burrito was good, and the rice and beans were not bad, as well. He really enjoyed the taco, but also said the price was too much ($5.00). Overall, we definitely hope this place sticks around, but they do need to lower some of their prices, as there are other places where you can get a taco for less than $2.50. read more

I went here one night for carry out and was surprised as to how well the dinning area was (very quaint) The hostess was very pleasant. I ordered (3) chicken tacos and then i went over to Cuco's and ordered 3 chicken tacos to see if there was a difference ( I love Cuco's) I was plently surprised that I like the Memo's tacos a little better and one of their hot sauces was tastier also , the tacos from Memos cost more but were larger in size so I beleive the codt evened itself out . to summerize the visit Good service good tacos graet sauce. We were so excited when this restaurant opened. We decided to give it a try and were beyond disappointed. The interior was beautiful and the service was excellent, polite and friendly. The food on the other hand was just awful. After driving past Memo's countless times, I had to try them. In comparison to several other Mexican places in the area, it's clean, smallish, so no large groups. I ordered a steak burrito suizo dinner, in a perfect world, it would have more sauce, but it was still good. The rice and beans didn't stand out in any way, good or bad I ordered the chips and salsa, which I use to measure against other restaurants. The salsa is solid, not my favorite, but better than many. Knowing I would be chilling the next day, I ordered a few al pastor tacos to reheat the next day. Again, good but not particularly standing out in any way. I would definitely eat here again. You can tell they used hard boiled eggs in there which made it taste more like an egg salad. Drove by this place and decided to give them a try. Food was made ready fast. I enjoyed the guacamole. If you do not like cilantro then ask not to have it included. I like that they chop up the tomatoes small. It just needed to be smashed a little better because there were two large avocado chunks. I also got the cheese enchiladas with red sauce. They were mild which I like. I know another review said the food could use my flavor. I think that is true but I would rather it be made mild then too spicy. I will go back. read more

The menu at the restaurant has some interesting choices and from what we witnessed when we were there, huge portions. The burrito here is decent and their red sauce is smoky and delicious. That's about it though. Sope was chewy, anything fried had a fishy/shrimpy flavor that I assume was from the grease, and everything needed salt. Refried beans were ok, rice was flavorless. read more

My wife and I have dined here twice. The first time they had Tamales (not always available) and they were excellent, I had a Sope dinner and they were fresh and delicious. It appears to be a small family owned place that has the owner and kids sometimes working. A nice throwback against all the chain places. It's pretty nice having such a great little Mexican place close by. Like most places that have the owner working there at all times it's good and they seem to care deeply about the quality based on the conversations I have had with him. They didn't have Tamales the last time we were there and my wife picked up the Enchilada's instead. They were excellent as well. I can't speak to the affordability of the place as I am not really sure what I would compare it to. We have had a lot of chain food and it was less expensive than the larger chain places I guess. I was excited to try this place. We were a table of 3. Our server brought us chips and salsa. Chips were good - salsa was ok needed more lime, salt and some heat. We ordered: 3 steak taco dinner, 2 Al pastor and a chicken burrito. Everything came out fresh. Taste wise it lacked flavor. The salsa verde was very spicy and the red salsa was tasty. I understand they are still new and works the kinks out. Food is authentic but in order to comete with El Sombero or Cuco's they need to adjust their flavors. Perhaps it was an off day. read more

The taco's were very good, but then we got the bill--- The meals were $12.99 each which seemed pretty much in line with other places, but we didn't expect them to add to the prices for the lettuce, tomato, cheese & avocado. Thought I'd give the new place in town a try. Was brave and ordered the steak tampiquena and ordered it medium. I received a steak that was tough, well done, and looked like it was stepped on and I had to fight with it with a butter knife because a steak knife wasn't provided. Flavors were ok, but their red salsa was gross. Chips were clearly not even fried in house, store bought.
