Who…read moremy mom is his POA and he passed away which caused for several questions regarding questions from letter sent from the bank. I specifically asked since we didn't have the death certificate with us would the certificate of cremation be something relevant regarding this matter? Diego then reads the letter in front of me pointing out the obvious that has been already read over on my behalf. I then interjected stating I am not saying I don't understand the letter and all, just was "BRINGING IT TO YOUR ATTENTION THAT I HAVE THIS FORM". Diego then replies "AND I AM BRINGING IT TO YOUR ATTENTION IT STATES WE NEED THE DEATH CERTIFICATE" ... I immediately pulled back and say nothing further to him because for whatever reason his dialogue was pretty offensive especially during this tough and touchy time of the passing of my father. I want to bring awareness to humans that we should just do better in how we communicate and look at ourselves, how it can come across from the outside looking in. My response personally would of been some dialogue along this " I understand (which creates the empathy from the person to cx) that you have that document, however the company guidelines are requiring the deaths certificate be provided, no alternative form can override this (bring awareness that this is not your policy but the companies and supports your position from the perspective of legalities).... Food for thought that is all.

I was told by the branch manager that I would receive a call to schedule a time; I never received a call. I was finally able to reach a representative at the branch who scheduled an appointment in the branch manager's absence for Friday at noon. I took off work, arrived on time at the branch (my 4th visit now) only to discover the representative who made the appointment was at lunch and the branch manager had no idea about the appointment. She did attempt to call the vendor but he had already left the area for the day headed to Woodstock. She instructed me to come back anytime between 9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Wednesday so I took off again on Monday. I asked if I needed an appointment and she said no and assured me the vendor would be there on Monday- Wednesday. This morning (which is Monday) when I was on my way to the branch, I called to ensure the vendor was there only to be told by the branch manager that they would only be there on Tuesday and Wednesday this week although she assured me on Friday that they would be there on Monday (this would have made my 5th visit). This is EXTEREMLY poor service and I would have expected better from a branch manager. To be asked to take off work yet again is beyond ridiculous and for what, to allow the same thing to happen again?! This level of sheer ineffiency and incompetance has created a very negative customer experience. At one time I considered moving other investements and assets to Well Fargo to have everything centrailized-this service experience confirmed I made the right decision by not doing so! No customer should ever be treated this way or given the run around like this. If this kind of service factored into the decision to close this branch, I fully understand why. It's so disappointing to see Wells Fargo allow this type of service delivery.

The agent that's by the front told me the teller could handle that for me. After depositing the checks the teller redirected me to finish up with the bankers in their office. Now a visit that should had taken few minutes turned into half of hour. I was next in line at the teller and redirected me to stay way past my time that I would have liked. Now I'm behind several customers. Why couldn't the teller handled this like what the agent initially let me to believe? I should not come here again. On the other side there is a Little Caesars Pizza, a Thai place and a Firestone Auto place. Across the street is a RaceTrac and an ALDI. According to Google there are at least 18 Fidelity branches in the state of Georgia. This is the only location in Hiram. The next closest location maybe in Marietta on South Cobb Drive. I like Fidelity in that they are a Big "little" bank. They're big enough to be one of the big players like Wells Fargo or Chase but not so big that they lose that human touch. When I walk into a Fidelity I always feel like I'm walking into a small town bank. There are always people that smile and greet me like they've known me for years while nearby there is usually a plate of cookies, snacks and coffee. It may not be much but in a world where you can easily sit on the phone for half an hour just to tell someone that the storm knocked out your cable and you can't watch Games of Thrones....being able to pick the phone and talk to a live person and have that live person know who you are...well that's priceless....thanks guys and keep up the good work! 1214th review 2/13/2018 134th for 2018
