This company is an absolute nightmare!!!! I had spoken with a representative on the phone one month prior to when I wanted my account cancelled. She told me to call back 7 days before I wanted to cancel. I did just that and was told that I needed to pay for another month because it takes "30 days for the cancellation to be complete". I spoke with the manager and was still told that there was "nothing they could do". Basically, at this point I'm calling my bank. read more

As the customer on the recieving end of a gym that contracts them, I would suggest you avoid any gym that uses them. The owner of Evolution Martial Arts in Miami, Fl mislead me about my contract either intentionally or out of ignorance, anyway I cancelled on time with the gym although it seems not to make a difference. Member solutions basically said you're out of luck because I didn't send it to them in writing in time. Just kept referring to 14 days on the contract (I sent my email 13 days ahead of time). You don't have a contract with your gym, you have a contract with them. Very impersonal way of doing business and when one person tells you one thing and the company another, at the end no one takes responsibility. Also, you need to call them as they don't respond to your emails in 3-5 business days as stated. They didn't reapond to my email until 2 weeks later, the day before my scheduled payment. They ignored everything I wrote in the email and just told me my next billing date. read more

If I could make this rating less than 1 star I would. Ineffective programming team, programs riddled with bugs and hiccups. Inaccurate, misleading consumer billing. Every software update I've been through with them is a failure. They don't test their "updates" before releasing and use the customers as the goat for testing. read more

They are terrible. They charge you no matter what. Always they find a reason to say that your cancellation is incomplete and you have to pay for this month and send complete documents so that we do not charge you next month. We did move and not using service but still charging us. It is horrible and a nightmare to get ride of them. read more

January 21, 2013 ... My MEMBER SOLUTIONS nightmare ... The owner of my fitness facility told me a cancellation of membership required a thirty-day prior written notice. In October of 2012, he received my thirty-day prior written notice. However, MEMBER SOLUTIONS FAILED TO DEBIT MY CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR THE LAST MONTHLY PAYMENT. I did NOT prevent MEMBER SOLUTIONS from doing this, in any way. They just failed to carry out the transaction. Until MEMBER SOLUTIONS called me (a month after the last payment was due) I did not even know it had not been debited. I told them I always pay what I owe (I'm debt free) and to debit my bank account for the last payment, just like they had done with all the others. They told me I owed them $69.00 and wanted my credit card number. I told them that amount was incorrect and I only owed $59.00. They said it was correct (they had added a $10.00 late fee) and I had to pay it by credit card or be turned in for collection. I refused to give them my card number for obvious reasons. In return, they began an aggressive email and phone campaign. To this day they continue to harass me (voice mail shows they have called nearly every-other-day since November 2012) rather than admit their negligence, remove the false late charge and debit my account. However, I found a solution (no pun intended) to this stalemate. I love my fitness facility. The owner is wonderful and gave me great workouts. I had intended to rejoin this month, until MEMBER SOLUTIONS got in my face. So my solution is this ... I paid the $69 tonight by credit card, which allows me to return to my trainer without embarrassment. I will buy a Groupon, LivingSocial or day pass for admission to avoid dealing with MEMBER SOLUTIONS. I am also blocking MEMBER SOLUTIONS from my email, phone, bank account and credit card usage from this point forward. It will cost me more to buy vouchers and I won't be able to go as often, but I will get my justice by exposing MEMBER SOLUTIONS as a rotten company that everyone should avoid, at any cost. I will also inform the fitness facility owner of my experience and all the others I have read online. MEMBERS SOLUTIONS will learn the cost of falsely charging a late fee is the wrong thing the do, when dealing with an individual that believes a company should have ethical principles or be held accountable. Also, I'm giving the employees at MEMBER SOLUTIONS notice that yelling threats at a person over the phone only gives the employee high blood pressure and bad Karma! read more

From day one, I started my customers billing with Member Solutions. I have never had to follow up with delinquent payments, past due customers, and I get paid on time every time, each month. It saves me a lot of time not having to worry about money coming in and being able to focus on my business instead of chasing down payments. Best of all, Member Solutions has the best customer service. I feel like they are part of my business and couldn't do it without them. I would Highly recommend using Member Solutions for any business that accepts automated payments. They really are worth the cost, no matter what size your business is. read more

It was a constant problem when dealing with Member Solutions. Half of the time I believe they started doing things on purpose. I understand people mess up, things go wrong, and no one is perfect. But if there's ALWAYS a problem and there has been no effort in to fixing it, then there is only so much one can take. It was becoming an inconvenience for us and our customers. Always over charging and still till this day as we no longer working with them, they are still creating mishaps in our system. If you want the job done right, than Member Solutions is not the one for you! read more

this is not an efficient dojo payment system, i am constantly harassed for money that i pay to the jiujitsu club that i participate in. they have tried to contact the people at member solutions without any luck. this is not professional as the clients will be repelled by this awful third party baloney. this doesn't get any worse, they are terrible. they don't even understand anything about how the business and client are operating. don't ever employ their services as a business because it will not help you, only deter clients to other competitors who have found a better match. read more

This company has a ridiculous cancelation policy and will charge you hundreds of dollars to cancel your billing service with them. The customer service is great before you sign up and horrible once you are using them. Shop around..they have the highest fees in the business but will try to down play that and confuse you into thinking they are not as high as they are. Note that there is a $150 minimum on your account that was not told to me before signing up with them. If your gym is small this is not the right company for you and personally I would recommend any other company over this one. My experience was nothing but unpleasant the 7 months of using them before canceling..and when I suspended the billing they charged me $25 for every account I closed! Make sure to read the fine print if you make the mistake of using this company! read more

They still haven't released me from the contract and I have provided 5 types of documents (they only asked for two originally). They are shady to say the least. I complete a relocation questionnaire as required to discontinue service (tai kwan do) for my daughter. Per the agreement, provided proof of a new home (utility and pay stub) and the should stop billing. They changed the rules and now want proof of school enrollment in the middle of the summer, which the original forms of proof didn't even list. They seem to be making up new rules (hurdles) just to block them from honoring the contract (move away 25 miles and you can break the 1 year contract). They have received enrollment forms for daycare and refused it (although it is tied to the new school). See my point they got what they asked for and again changed the rules. They owe me 290 bucks and are saving they don't or won't refund it. I would be very careful signing any contract that has "Member Solutions" as the provider. RUN AWAY from this VERY DISHONEST Business and their SHADY practices. I will never do business with a company that uses them EVER AGAIN!! FRAUDULENT! DECEPTIVE! LIARS! CHEATS! DISHONEST! SLOW to RESPOND (5 days to read an EMAIL., give me a break!!) Wish I could give them negative stars!! read more

worst company i have ever dealt with. all they care about is taking your money and keeping charging you no matter what. anything you do, keep away from member solutions or run the very high risk of constantly losing your money to them !!!!!! read more

Absolute garbage. Canceled my contract with Baltimore martial Arts Academy within the 1 month period and they continued to bill me. While fault partially lies with the BMAA, members solutions has displayed a sincere and unrelenting need to harass me. For those in non-managerial positions, quit working at this company before your soul quits on you. read more

This business absolutely sucks and as a business owner I would never use their services as it directly reflects on your business. They are money hungry and their customer service is horrible. read more

Literally as a business's customer who has to deal with them they are the worst. They are very strict when it comes to cancellations and unreasonable. read more

BE VERY CAREFUL. Keep your contract as proof later when they draft unauthorized payments from your bank. And once you cancel future payments to them, they will change the name they submit the debit under. so that it will go through. Just call the bank and inform them of the new name. read more

Were can I start. They never kept there words, our clients were being charge multiple times. On top of that they withheld Thousands of dollars from our business. There customer service is awful, no communication. What was not disclosed to us was that the software company (MyVolo) had only recently been purchased by the billing company (Member Solutions) and the two were practically acting as separate entities. This turned into a customer service nightmare as there were two completely separate CS departments that did not communicate with each other. On top of the immense amount of CS issues, the software was only partially functional with the billing side and thus many members of our business ended up with double charges, over charges, etc. Furthermore Member Solutions did an incredibly poor job of collecting payments from our members and ended up causing a massive deficit in our monthly income. We later hired a part time account manager who worked independently to collect over $10K in overdue payments in a matter of weeks. DO NOT USE Member Solutions!!!!!!!! read more

Warning: Member Solutions -- Scam company Member Solutions collects money for their clients in a cold and scrupulous manner. Don't be fooled! Don't sign up! The local karate club made me sign a contract for my granddaughter to take some classes. I signed up for a ten month course but not according to Member Solutions. They continued to press for payment. My granddaughter was no longer able to attend . I was being charged for nothing . Nobody from Member Solutions would explain or communicate with me -- but they continued to press for payment. Their costumer service staff is only trained in scamming even more money out of you. Cold, heartless. Ripping off poor parents who only wanted to provide their children with an opportunity to take some Karate classes -- instead they end up loosing money left and right for eventually no service in return-- Member Solutions does not care. They do not care about hardships. Their customer service staff will tell you " Don't trust anybody -- you should not have signed up .Ha,ha,ha!". At our karate club classes were not held or canceled sometimes for up to 2 weeks. There were no refunds or make ups but Member Solutions demanded the same amount and their rigorously trained staff had no answers and still pressed for payments . To finally end this nightmare I had to pay an ungodly amount of a "cancellation fee". Yet the right to cancel explanation of the billing agreement does not have any mention of anything like that. Interesting - isn't it? If your karate club does not collect fees themselves and instead relies on a third party to handle these finances : DON'T SIGN UP! If your club collects their own fees the money stays with the club and more important with the children .Member Solutions is cruel and scrupulous and scams of poor parents and children. read more

My 5 and 9 yo children take karate in Clarksville, TN. They have taken class for over a year and have recently moved up to another age group. When I signed an agreement to allow a greater amount deducted from my checking account I didn't realize and it certainly was not clear that I was signing another one year contract. So now my girls need tutoring and want to try another sport and I am stuck either paying the same amount per month for the next 11 months -- or forcing them to stay in. This was completely unfair and I think manipulative. I will be meeting with my lawyer this week as this is unfair to my children and disrespectful to me. read more

They are awful. They refused to refund me my money even though I showed them that they should not have been billing me. When I tried to explain what happened to them, the manager got really rude and she even hung up on me. read more

I hurt my back while working out at a crossfit facility in Morgantowon, WV. When i called the gym to ask if i put a hold on my account due to an injurty they quickly directed me to their member service (Member Solutions). I called Member Solutions and told them what had happened. They informed me that i could go see a doctor and if i could get the doctor to fill out their sheet that they provided then and only then could i put a 2 month hold (hold not cancel) on my account with them. When i told them that i had pulled my back and there was no need to see a doctor i was told sorry that was all they could do. I then asked if they could cancel my memeber ship and i was told yes (for the full amount that was left on the Membership). I asked what the point in canceling was, if it was going to cost me the same amount as keeping the membership. They then told me that was just the way it was. Basically you cannot cancel a membership through them. Before you sign up for any membership please make sure that you check to see who runs there membership program. If these guys are in charge DO NOT SIGN UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

This place is a f***ing joke! Please make sure that your company does not use this company. When it comes to cancelations they are just ridiculous and come up with more and more excuses as to why not to cancel. It is 10 hours and 17 minutes from my house and I have been dicking with this company for over 3 months now. First they wanted medical documentation (against the law) then when I told them it was against the law to ask for that since no one there was certified they asked for my kids school information. Again a violation of PII. This place is really just the shittiest place to do business with. You are better off shooting yourself in the f***ing face to get out of their contracts then trying to work with these idiots. I hope they read these reviews because this no joke has exasperated my anxieties to an all time high and I'm thinking about suing them. If any of the other 30 people who gave them a 1 star is up we can do a larger suit to ensure they get the hint. Its about the principle at this point. By the way Dragonfly MMA in Plainfield, Indiana uses this company. #pleasechangecompanies Dragonfly is too good of an organization to use companies like this for their members. read more

I am a small business owner that uses Member Solutions for our billing services and I wanted to lend my perspective (to hopefully balance out the other 2 reviews on here). Member Solutions policies on collections and cancellations depend solely on the preferences of the business owner they assist. I was able to choose whether or not we would allow MS to take phone cancellations, whether or not they could call our delinquent customers, etc. We chose to give every convenience and consideration to our customers possible. Yes, we have lost money since we do not allow MS to "go after" our customers, but we also never have complaints about the billing and we consistently receive referrals even though we require all customers to pay by credit card or EFT through MS. So, if you find a business that uses MS for it's billing, do not simply walk away as the other reviewer suggested. Talk to the business owner, get to know him/her and ask specific questions about their billing policies. read more

Never EVER sign a Martial Arts contract that is all but impossible to get out of. Never EVER sign a contract that has automatic renewal that requires written notice to get out of. We too are trying to get out of a Martial Arts Contract with MSI. Our Dr. would not sign their permanent disability form he told us to get a lawyer, that no Dr. he knew would sign that form out of fear of being sued. My injury is painful the pain could go on for my entire life. My Dr. did write them a letter and did state that I could not do Martial Arts, however he would not sign the permanent disability form so my claim was denied. I am paying almost $200.00 a mo. for an activity I cannot participate in. My contract will automatically renew unless I give them a 30 day written notice. Well they have a 130 day written notice so we shall see what happens. I am still considering small claims court. People, please do not sign these contracts. If a business cannot offer you a month to month membership or at least a contract that you can get out of if a hardship does occur, do not sign it. It is a nightmare. read more

NEVER sign a contract with a company using Member Solutions. Florida administrative code requires that to cancel a contract you must provide that "upon doctor's orders you cannot physically receive the services provided" that you can cancel the contract. I have provided a doctor's note, cancellation notice, 9 pages from his doctor stating the diagnosis several times and they are refusing to cancel saying they need more personal medical information. This has been going on for 4 months in which they call or email me 12-15 times per month. They are are threatening my credit report and accusing me of ignoring the matter even though I have provided them with a copy of the contract, a copy of the FL code, medical records and intent to cancel 3 times. They buy the contract from the gym so the gym no longer cares if you attend or not (they have not contacted 1 time since I stopped going 5 months ago) . read more
