One thing I can say is the results were worth the wait. 3 waiters brought a huge plate on top of which there was a dish encased in a salt container. They carefully broke the salt container and removed the fish meat from it onto a plate. It was delicious, to say the least. Really moist, a bit salty and the souces that came with it were great. Pro tip: don't give cats around there a look! They will come down to your table and stare at you pitifully expecting you to give them some bits of your fish.

My fiance and I made reservations for dinner at Lara Balikevi on our last night in Turkey. We were hoping to end our vacation with a satisfying meal, but were extremely disappointed. The upside is the view by the water was utterly breathtaking. We hung around a bit longer after dinner just to see the sun setting, and it was gorgeous. It is a great place for photo-taking and definitely the highlight of our dinner. However, if you are looking for some good food, I may want to consider elsewhere. The restaurant did look inviting and had plentiful seating, but was rather empty that night. We sat right by the edge and had the most perfect view, with much wait staff surrounding our area.
