The customer service was great, employees were helpful and cheerful, but not overbearing. Shoppers browse around the store, and the shoe sizes are stacked on the shelves, so there's no need to ask the employees to fetch you sizes or colours. The shoe selection is impressive. They had a huge variety of brands as well as shoe types. I consider this very convenient, since you have all the brands and shoe types in one place, as opposed to visiting ten different shoe stores in order to get a broad selection. I also consider it extremely cheap relative to buying these shoes new from other stores because Shoes 22 often has sales where you get really good deals (ex. Guess shoes which were normally $150 cost $120 at Shoes 22, and then were on sale for 50% off). I will mention, however, that although it does have a large selection, it doesn't have everything (for instance, I noticed they didn't have converse, nor was there a selection of specific kind of shoes like skate shoes, for example). Overall, I gave it 4/5 because it's very comfortable to shop at, has an enormous variety of shoe types and brand names, has quality shoes, and good prices.

And on top of that, I went to Tootsies, because I saw boots I liked the look of in a flyer and even in the store, there was a picture of the boots I was interested in, but they didn't carry them. The mall itself is like any other medium to large mall in Canada with the usual chains. I did not see anything special about this mall. No unique stores or anything that really sets it apart from any other mall. The Winners was really picked over and was wasn't that great. The food court was just chains with no independently owned vendors. My husband and I walked around, but nothing caught our eyes, so we didn't buy anything. It's an ok place to poke around, but not a destination mall, at least not in my opinion.

Good transit connections as well from UW, Laurier, and well...most of the Waterloo core since the very frequent routes 7 and 200 both serve there. You can even do your grocery shopping inside as there's a Zehrs Market connected to the mall. The food court has the usual selections, though the addition of a Spring Rolls To Go and a Tandori makes it slightly more unique than others. Love the open concept of it by the way. The washrooms are very environmentally friendly as they encourage you to use the reusable towels they offer by the sinks. No need to use paper towels, no need to worry about bacteria from the dryers. I rarely rate malls a 5 as I believe malls are a hindrance to good urban development, but at least this mall incorporates environmental concepts to it.

The staff are punctual, kind and patient to deal with. I have peppered them with so many questions and they are happy to answer them. I have been wearing orthotics for the last two decades and can easily say that these are one of the best, I have worn. While shopping for rompers for the beach there were restrictions to try on outfits. Further items were final sale. I bought one romper for that was final sale that was truly sheer-if I had tried it on, probably wouldn't buy it lol. A few months ago I bought some former Le château dresses that would have been on clearance in Etobicoke for $40. Here in Cambridge I got it for $10 and $20, some with minor mends. It's nice to pick up a nice champagne dress knee length for $20 :) A few months ago they were selling hamburger and donut themed shoes for $3 each and find a nice overcoat similar to those at forever 21 for $30. Recently there's new stock lots of Xmas even branded minion products. No change room open though, but exchanges are welcomed with a stiff time limit.

For students who love thrift shopping, but find it hard to find something for them each time, this store should leave you satisfied every time. Their prices are really fair as well, usually ranging between $10-$20 for an item of clothing. As an example, I've see ASOS shorts go for $16 (which could be 2-3 times as much originally) and an Aritzia winter coat go for $150 (originally $300+). They often have brands you'll recognize like Zara, American Apparel, Aritzia, Urban Outfitters, etc. and they post their new arrivals on Instagram, but since they don't hold new arrivals those clothes can get snatched up within the day. They also sell accessories like sunglasses, atlas watches, scarves, and necklaces. The store itself is really nice and quaint. It's got an industrial style with brick walls and wooden furnishings. They also have a change room and one person working to help you out.

Overall, a cute spot to stop by if you're in the area. Support sustainable local shops!

The store was extremely busy when I arrived. They were having a sale with great prices. I was looking for bridal shoes and was very particular. I nice young man came to my aid and made many suggestions and even pulled a few pairs in my size on his own accord. After seeing my wedding dress he gave me very honest opinions about each pair. He spent well over 40min with me and never once was anything but friendly and smiling. Even another female staff member came over to chat and help me say yes to a beautiful pair of shoes. What also made me love this store even more was their dog. He came over a few times for a pet, but mostly stayed in his bed sleeping. I just wanted to put him in my bag and take him on home with me! Well behaved and an absolute sweetheart. For genuine leather shoes I found the price to be very fair. I didn't see any spectacular sales like $10-15 safety shoes that I got in other stores. So pricing is ...okay. I was disappointed the head quarters/Kitchener location ignored my direct message on Instagram-it's not like I could call the Kitchener location to confirm stock -there was no phone number online. The pricing has been competitive at this location, but shipping they do sneak a fake insurance guarantee for a few dollars. When things are on sale, stock does go out.
