We chose this place for our 4-night Nashville vacation based on the price and proximity to downtown…read moreNashville. It met and exceeded our expectations. Thankfully, we were in a lower level unit because we had extremely heavy suitcases and I didn't realize there are no elevators. I loved the fact that the main door and the unit door are both code locks so we didn't have to keep up with any keys. The apartment is fully equipped: full kitchen with cookware, washer and dryer, plenty of towels, and a portable crib (if needed). We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!!!!

Like so many others, I should have paid attention to the reviews. The SoBro Guest House (known on…read moreother sites by the more elegant name "Black Swan") was more like a glorified halfway house. Besides the strong smell of cleaners, the room was nice enough. I didn't have much need for the kitchen or a fridge, but some residents might. (The folks who were moving an apartment's worth of stuff out on the sidewalk when I arrived had clearly been there longer than a couple nights.) As mentioned countless times in other reviews, the ceiling above the first floor is paper thin. Everything from a footstep to god-knows-what could be heard above me at all hours. On my first night, I was awakened about 1:30 am by the echoing sound of footsteps that sounded like high heels being driven into the floor. This happened all three nights of my stay. It wasn't anything to complain the the people above me about since it seemed like folks just naturally walking around in their room, and I'd already been told I couldn't switch rooms when booking. It kept me awake for hours. The subsequent nights weren't any better. Basically, if you are on a floor lower than the top you should be prepared to involuntarily learn a lot about your neighbors. This also being just rented rooms without any hotel experience, expect the bare minimum of help and no onsite service. When I couldn't find an email with a code to enter the building, I called the number, waited on hold and talked to a guy who said he'd get a message to someone who could actually help me. I never got a follow up, but fortunately I found an email with an access code. All in all a clumsy system. The landlords are completely disconnected from this place and seemingly all about just milking guests for cash, as evidenced by that fact that they don't respond to any Yelp reviews, post disconnected numbers and barely answer the phone. The two stars is for a room that was clean and stocked and a bed that was comfortable - when I could sleep. I suggest you don't get sucked in by the cheap price as I did and find a slightly more expensive yet actual hotel that isn't a converted apartment building where you can get on-site service and a higher level of quality. Oh, and the much touted record players I read about in every room? Mine didn't have one.

On our road trip from Fort Worth, we were researching available places in this area and Little Tracks came up as having one night open!!! We lucked out!! We stayed in Red Fish cabin for the night. Once you reserve and pay for your stay, the owners text you the appropriate information to get in! They're so hospitable. When we walked inside our cabin from our long day of driving, we were greeted with a cozy and clean place! There is a hot shower, shampoo/conditioner, beauty mirror, towel hooks, towels and linens. The kitchen is complete with dinnerware and cutlery, a blender, coffee machine and fridge in case you want to cook any meals. We also spotted a fire pit in the front for making s'mores! If the temps gets too cold or hot outside, there is an ac unit to make your sleep more comfortable. There is a tv mounted in case you have time for watching anything, we didn't though. The trees were gorgeous, showing off their fall colors, and it was so quiet despite being right off I-40! It felt like a night at Grandma's house, safe and snuggly. We recommend staying!

It was really easy to check in though the inn doesn't have a front desk, and my room (#6) was both spacious and exceptionally clean. In fact, my "room" wasn't just one room! I had a bed room, a study, and my own bathroom. The house is within walking distance of WKU and downtown restaurants, and the house boasts a shared modern kitchen as well as state of the art shared laundry facilities. I only stayed for three nights, but one of the other guests I met during my visit was staying there for a couple of months. The house was quiet at night, and there was plenty of hot water for my showers in the morning. During my checkout, I happened to meet the inn's manager, and he was friendly, jolly, and grateful for my business. I would definitely recommend the Tyler Adams House to anyone visiting Bowling Green for a few days, a few weeks, or a few months.

My sister and I came in for a quick trip to a local spa and stayed the night at Belmont and honestly I now can't imagine staying anywhere else when I travel to Nashville. The Inn is close to downtown and Music Row (just a few exits) but far enough away to give the experience of Southern Charm with beautiful older homes and fun eclectic restaurants and shops - some within walking distance. Adam gave me a tour of the home (built in 1928) because of a shared love of older architecture and design and accommodated my gluten allergy perfectly with a great breakfast. Our Rooms were super clean and had everything we needed. Honestly, I cannot recommend enough. Thank you and we will be back!

This was everything I expected and more. Firstly, the house is GORGEOUS. It has so much charm and thought put in every corner. I stayed in the upstairs bedroom. The be was comfy and the bathtub was one of those standalone claw foot tubs! The location is pretty spectacular. It's super close to the the famous 12th south. You can go there for coffee, BBQ, breweries, or to take a shameless amount of photos in front of all the murals. (That's what I did). Adam is an incredible host and cooks a mean breakfast too! All in all, the experience was just wonderful!
