Met with 2 local firms that have excellent repetitions. After all this we finally met with Trey Parker and Victoria Bowling at Carrell Blanton Ferris & Associates. My husband (who practiced law until he retired) and I finally found our law firm and lawyers we felt would represent us in every way we needed. They instructed us through the process. Every question and concern we had was met with clear and helpful responses. They guided us through what we needed to know about creating a Trust, what we needed to consider about our estate, discussed our future and our family needs. We learned to follow and trust their suggestions. We hired them. There was an agreed upon cost and it was clear what we would receive in return. We occasionally have questions regarding how to handle certain things, we always receiving a response to our emails. Most recently we were considering hiring a financial adviser firm which we didn't feel quite comfortable about using. We received information that gave us options to consider. With the most recent stock market decline we are again pleased we had their recommendations. I know Trey and Victoria are always there for us now and as we age. Their age, professional knowledge and honesty brings comfort to my husband and me. I was disappointed to see a one star review and felt I needed to share my thoughts about our experience.

I first discovered them back in September of 2018 and their service and efficiency was the best I had ever experienced. After my first experience with, Jessica Rossi and the rest of the Shaheen Law team, I gave them all my other deals. I was so glad I did on my latest deal! I was buying 7 duplexes. They had to all close at the same time or the deal would not close. The lender I chose for these 7 deals, provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Jessica Rossi provided the best customer service I have ever experienced. It was like a battle of good and evil. The Lender dragged it out for 6 months! They kept finding ways not to fund. meanwhile; Jessica looked for ways to reduce my cost by getting me a better price from within and from other vendors in appreciation of my business. Jessica assisted the lender where ever she could. The second she needed anything from me, she would ask for it. The second I asked for a document or an explanation from her, she would email it to me. When finally, the lender was ready to "Clear to Close" the loan, Jessica worked non stop for 2 days helping the lender get the figures correct. The first day, right after Jessica assisted the lender to get all 7 of the figures correct, the lender delayed for another day causing the figures to change. The second day Jessica took the lender by the hand once again and helped them get the figures correct once again. They were both full days and Jessica was on it! It was typical for the lender to delay and it was typical for Jessica to fight for me, Her customer. I was so nervous because the lender was so awful and I had worked for 6 months trying to close this deal. I was so relieved when Jessica was in complete control of my closing and the lender's hands were finally off my files. Once she was, my 7 deals closed like clockwork. She arranged the notary that I wanted and the time and place. She got me all the copies I needed and asked for. She emailed me copies and offered to send hard copies of all the documents right to my front door. She arranged for me to get all 14 keys from the Selling side. She made sure I got the list of contact info for all 14 tenants at these 7 duplexes. Jessica left no stone unturned and delivered the absolute BEST service possible. It's something I've wanted to do for a while but had been putting off bc it's intimidating. Melissa Moser was recommended to me. Email correspondence was prompt initially and my first appointment went very well. I liked that they have a package plan for a trust that includes multiple things and was ultimately provided to me in a full binder package with everything tabbed (with definitions and instructions) set up so it's easy should someone have to use it in the event of my untimely death or incapacitation. After our one-hour consult, I was given some paperwork to fill out for them as far as assets, accounts, possessions, etc. and signed a contract fairly quickly and paid my half deposit (remainder due upon delivery of documents/binder). Melissa and I had about a 2-3 hour meeting one afternoon where we really sat down and went through all my assets, my plans for the future for my daughter, and how to structure my trust in such a way that it will still provide guidance and influence for my daughter where I can still have a way to instill some values in her if I were to no longer be here to parent her. We included education, health, travel, and additional benefits for her until she's around 40. Incentivizing things like foreign travel abroad, higher education, marrying later, health and wellness... etc. Melissa was a great partner in working through those things and providing some guidance and examples as well as steering the conversation and leading me to the goals I wanted. Yesterday I arrived and the team was well-prepared and had all my documents ready to go - I signed in front of witnesses/notaries and they quickly made scans/copies and had my binder ready to go. I feel much better now that I have everything lined up for my very young daughter so she will be well provided for and I will still be able to look out for her if the worst and unexpected happened. Additionally, I now have a will, a durable power of attorney, and advanced medical directives outlining my wishes. This sort of thing is unpleasant, but something you need to think about as you get older. My grandmother died with no will with 5 adult children from two marriages and it was a nightmare. I don't want to leave that for my family. Working with this firm was exceptionally easy and the comprehensive binder they provided will walk my loved ones through everything they need to know if I were no longer here and they won't have to guess what my wishes are, they're clearly laid out.
