However, the dog park is constantly full off waste and despite there being waste bags, and can for dog piles as well as a giant sign on the gate that says you need to clean up after your dog, not to mention when you check in, the staff tells you you need to pick up after your pet and it's listed in the rules and newsletter dog owners have exactly zero respect for the rules. It appeared to be residents with large and multiple medium to large dogs leaving piles in the dog park as well as the walking trails. Dogs can get parvo virus, hookworms, and other diseases from irresponsible pet owners. So if you don't have a dog I would recommend a stay as it's in a nice area and easily accessible to many activities but if you have a dog, watch out for the abundance of dog waste.

They were consistently rude and unprofessional, often treating guests differently depending on whether they seemed to like you or not. We also overheard them speaking negatively about other campers, which created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. It felt like rules and expectations depended on their mood rather than being applied fairly. Additionally, the managers were frequently not in the office, making it difficult to get help or have questions answered when needed. Overall, the lack of professionalism and respect made this a place we cannot recommend.

We love the donkeys, chickens, and goose as well as the fabulous care and communication! The soft straw bedding and big window in his stall was so welcoming! He enjoyed his romp in the private pasture with his own shelter as well as the dry lot enclosure with shelter on the sunny days. Tanya updated me daily on his care and was very conscientious about feeding and special care needs. Can't say enough good things about this little slice of heaven on our way back to our TX home.
