Additionally, the managers were frequently not in the office, making it difficult to get help or have questions answered when needed. Overall, the lack of professionalism and respect made this a place we cannot recommend.

The park is neat ran with rules that allows everyone to be proud of their space and the only place I know of you could leave home without locking the door. The security is strict among the residents and i would recommend Countryview to anyone looking for a Country yet still close enough to the city to have all the shopping and food you would have in a congestive area. The owners are very good people easy to work with and always has your best interest at heart.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this park. There isn't any water in the fitness center so you have to leave to go to the office to get some or the bathrooms. Traffic in the area is a mess so plan on sitting on the 2 lanes roads for a minute. Internet connection is always struggling. The showers are beautiful but while the looks were focused on, the plumbing was not. The water gets luke warm at best.

I would recommend them to anybody and everybody in this area. Alright guys, I have been camper living for pretty much 2 and a half years now, my fiance and I just recently went full time. As a traveling construction worker doing water tower foundations our jobs usually don't last more than 3 weeks at a time, so I'm always moving. With that said, most of our jobs are in Texas. I'd say at least 75-80% are in the greater DGW area. After that I'd say 15% is also in texas6, just further south or west, depending. Well as everybody knows, Texas is going through a record breaking weather pattern that is basically unheard of in this area. **If you're a northerner that's gonna come on here and tell me to suck it up, I don't want to hear it. Scroll on and move along, I don't care and your comment will not be heard. ** Well, last night we had about 6 inches of snow at the park that I am at in Pilot Point, TX. Some of the highest in the area in north Dallas. I woke up this morning with no power, the camper was getting cold. It was maybe 4 degrees outside. So I went to my backup plan, I went to my 2019 Ram 2500. I was going to back in, plug it up and run the heat off of the truck. Had a full fuel tank for that reason. Well, my plan went to shit when the truck wouldn't start. The diesel fuel gelled up in the sub zero wind chill temps and I was dead in the water. For the next day or 3 the whole state of Texas is going through rolling blackouts. I had maybe 10-15 minutes of power for every hour. Which meant that I had 15 minutes to try to heat my camper. As soon as the sun went down the temps inside started dropping fast. I was in a waffle shirt, a hoodie, and a Carhartt and was still getting cold between spurts of power. So, I had a generator in my job trailer for work, also parked on the property, but I didn't have an adapter for my camper. I called Robert, the park owner and asked if maybe he had one. He didn't. He didn't stop there. He called around to every camper in the park to ask if there was one available and then found me one. Not only that, I only had about half a tank of fuel in the generator and nothing in my fuel can due to being depleted on the last job I had. Knowing that my truck was down, he took me all around town to find gas, only one place local wasn't out, and bought the gas for me and my dog to stay warm throughout the night. I literally can't praise this man and his wife enough. They have literally went above and beyond for a total stranger just passing through on a one month trip. Lake Ray Roberts RV park is definitely an amazing spot to check out if you're ever in the Denton area of Texas. I promise you will not be disappointed. Sorry for the long post, but I felt it was necessary to really send home the fact that this man is one of the best park owners I have ever dealt with in my time living in a camper.

Still not reliable in September 2025. The new owner(s) had a swimming pool installed and that has been a difference maker. Many of us have enjoyed the pool. The storage (STORAGE) units are a decent size and price but come with severe dust and dirt and critters. In one winter we caught 5 mice and one snake. No telling how many other critters stayed rent free - there was evidence of more than we saw and caught. The lawn/grass/weeds is now the greatest competitor for enjoying our longer term stay here. There are three primary forms of stay for long term patrons and only one for over nighters or short term patrons. Long term have options: 1. No cover awning with gravel spot. 2. Covered awning with a gravel spot and last 3. Covered with a 50' x 20' concrete slab. While short term patrons have a pull in/out open spot - but very near the pool. The Park has a community room that is very nice and available for rent but rarely used. In the very far back there are extra large RV storage spaces that can be used for other things in addition to RV's. MAIL is a huge challenge here - the local Post Master claims every resident at this park is a transient and will NOT allow mail or other items to be delivered. I've talked directly to "her" and she is 100% in the right - regardless of what she thinks or interprets the law to be. Just ask her - she would not consider any other option other than NO MAIL to any RV at this park. I have lived in multiple RV Parks and each one has a mail slot available to every RV Spot - she will not allow that. When I made that statement, she did not flinch and said that did not align with the Postal rules. Sounds very outdated and not in line with the direction of the USA Citizens. (This is all my opinion). Weeds and grass are out of control here along with ants; mice and what appears to be roaches (all outside). We are working on what we can, to make it homey but also paying a lot of money for our spot - too much to be covered with weeds and critters. The Park Management seems to be working hard trying to keep up but is challenged.

We've lived here a few months and are really happy with the park. The neighbors are very down to…read moreearth. There were a few bad apples but the owner has seen that those bad apples are no longer here. He's really great about maintaining what he has done and is working to do upgrades to the property and sites. Since moving here, he has expanded our site to house a 3rd vehicle, added gravel to level our site, added sod and built a covered patio. He's working towards everyone having one. It's not as fancy as some parks and doesn't have amenities like a swimming pool or a basketball court but we do have a laundry room and a storm shelter (very important). There are a few RVs that could use a spring cleaning or remodel but they are slowly moving away and people who take better care of their stuff are replacing them. The people here and mgmt make all the difference in the world. The price is fair and very reasonable.
