When we first brought our son there we had to wait a few weeks and be patient with our son adapting to the newness and other issues that where delt with by management and my wife and I. If you have a problem or issue and call about it your problem will be delt with and tended to immediatly. When you walk in or leave the front desk is friendly and nice making sure your child is given a welcome or a good bye on a daily basis as-well as the parent. All the staff are professional. I had 3 other sons that are older that went to diffrent care centers over the years and I have to say the Next Generations in Andover is the best yet. If your a new parent with a first child going to this day care center or any for that matter just be patient from the start to work out any kinks you may be having. Its not easy leaving your loved one off in the morning but rest assured that in my opinion 6 months into it that your child is getting the love and attention they deserve by a "class act group of A-plus management and teachers. It is definitely important to know your child is being taken care of when you are at work or what ever reason your using Next Generations. I know from experience that my son is happy and doing well there by a excellent group !!!!! Thats why I gave them a 5 star rating !!!!! Ps- The place is large and there are many areas for your child to learn and play.

I have learned so much as an early child educator from the teacher mentors I have met along the way. As an employee I feel supported by management and my coworkers. I have had the joy and pleasure to be in the lives of some fantastic kids and families. Anyone looking to work in the early education field should consider a career at NGCC Andover.

As a former Camper who attended three summers at Camp Wa-klo, for four weeks each, I can say I…read moreloved my sleep-away camp experience! A typical weekday would be waking up to revelry, circling the flag pole to welcome the day, eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Roy-Kit, singing many fun camp songs, cleaning the cabin, having inspection, attending 5 activities throughout the week (soccer, lacrosse, tennis, archery, horseback riding, fitness, gymnastics, theatre, dancing, sailing, windsurfing, swimming... to name a few) with one rest period in between to hang out with friends, write letters, take a nap, etc. Outside of the weeks' activities I thoroughly enjoyed our evening and weekend gatherings. When you first attend camp you are placed on either the White or Green Team tribe and throughout your camp experience there are various all-camp competition events, movie nights, drama performances, dances, and council fires where staff and counselors award achievements associated with weekly activities, tribe success and much more. You also have opportunities to go off-site as a group to hike Mt. Monadnock, grab ice cream from Kimball Farm, go water rafting, visit Six Flags, attend the Jaffrey Fair, etc. I also really liked the camp uniform. The green and white apparel made it easy for all the girls to feel comfortable in what they wore. There were some civies days, and an all-white closing ceremony (so I would still pack other outfits) but the main area to show off one's personality was in the cabin by decorating around your bed, shelves, and trunk. I have only GREAT camp memories and would continue sharing... Instead, I invite you to sign up and experience a summer for yourself!

They experience so much growth while they are there, forming friendships and exploring activities that they don't usually have the opportunity to try in their everyday lives. They stretch their abilities, have fun, and also learn how to be considerate individuals who look out for one another. The environment is incredibly supportive and caring, and the break from screens provides a much-needed reset. They talk about camp all year long. Choosing Wa-Klo was one of the best decisions we made for them!

We took my twin boys here for spring break since it was cheaper than going on vacation. It was a…read moregreat opportunity for my 6-year-olds to do a test run of day camp, which was a first for us. Everything was well organized and the staff was wonderful and attentive. As I anticipated, my children came home absolutely exhausted - by day 2, one of my fellas fell asleep at 5:30 that night and slept through until 6 a.m. the next morning. It is a very long day for that kindergarten age, so something to consider if you are on the fence. I did notice each day that my boys didn't eat much of their packed lunch and they were confused about the lunch schedule and said they didn't have enough time to eat. They also only broke for one snack, then lunch. An afternoon snack during that 2-5 p.m. timeframe would have been ideal for growling tummies. We dropped them off at 8 a.m. and picked them up each day around 4:45 p.m. (extended day). Typical day is 9-3 p.m. without extended day. One of my sons was amazed at "Little Jim," who managed to pull a coin out of his ear. He wondered all week long how the heck he did that :) Would certainly recommend this camp to others but it is expensive and likely cost prohibitive for us as a summer option. Maybe in the future.

My daughter started attending Camp Evergreen at age six. As a shy child, I was nervous she might…read morenot fit in, but she absolutely thrived. For years, camp was her favorite place in the world, and she dreamed of one day becoming a counselor. She worked her way from camper to junior CIT to counselor, and the memories she made during that time were priceless. Unfortunately, when management changed, so did the atmosphere. The new leadership created an environment of favoritism and division, and my daughter--who had once felt so at home--found herself singled out and targeted by the owner. Camp shifted from a place she loved to one that left her feeling anxious and defensive. By the summer after her sophomore year, things had deteriorated so badly that she cut ties entirely. The most upsetting moment came just this week, when my daughter and a friend returned to collect an item from a 2020 time capsule. Although they were invited back by current staff, the owner treated them like intruders, personally escorting them off the property and watching them leave. This was an unnecessarily hostile end to what had once been a beautiful chapter in her life. I'm certain many children still have incredible summers here, and I truly hope they experience the same joy my daughter once did. But this review is directed solely at the current management, whose treatment of staff and alumni is deeply disappointing
