Music store / Albums…read more Early for our dinner reservations, we were walking the little strip mall the restaurant was in and came across Sounds Good Music. It took us a few moments of window browsing to realize that this was an old-school seller of vinyl records, so we sent in to take a look. To say it was like a walk down memory lane is an understatement. The place is reminiscent of the old records stores you remember from the past with bins lining the walls and aisles full of albums sorted by artist. Music memorabilia adorn the walls and every genre was represented - certainly a great way to kill an hour just remembering when you last held this, or that, album. Prices were surprisingly affordable, in my opinion. The only downside I have is that I no longer have a record player available. Definitely a place for you if you are, or know, an audiophile. Their selection is great, they have a wide assortment of new vinyl and some great used vinyl as well. I picked up a used live Kansas double LP for $8, a very fair price. I also bought a special 2 LP edition of Nirvana Bleach with a 1990 concert, Operation Ivy - Energy and the Minor Threat LP. All prices were either at market or slightly below. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I also liked that they had a listening station where you could check out used stuff. Overall, a very solid five stars. I would absolutely come back here in the future.

All the records were well organized and the prices seemed in line with what's available online perhaps a bit lower depending on what record you were looking for. They had a clean restroom in the back available to patrons of the store. Also the staff was very friendly and more than willing to help if we couldn't find something and even offered us some free stickers with our purchase! With being one of the only record stores in the area they are doing a great job!

When I walk in, I feel like I did when I was teenager in high school as I use to frequent a vinyl store similar to this one in Miami Beach. It's really just everything about it, the music, the dry humor in a lot of the items they sell, all of it. I'm a huge Bowie fan and they have his pretty face plastered on so many things. It always makes me smile when I see all the merchandise too. They do fun mystery bags. They have one for CD's, stickers, and DVDs. I have no idea what kind of DVD or CD's they'd include so I went ahead and bought one for stickers and was very pleasantly surprised at the variety and already added some of them to my computer and water thermos.
