Really liking her style of photography, we scheduled a newborn photo session with Constance at the end of November with our two week old son. Constance was incredibly responsive and professional. Not only that, she is a baby photo whisperer - she had a bunch of helpful suggestions to help our time together go smoothly. She brought a whole bag of adorable outfits and props, and she was happy to let us choose some of our own outfits, too. For this session we decided to stay home and take photos around our house and yard, and they turned out beautifully. We are so pleased with these special keepsakes! Cici took the time to look through my outfit choices and selected great scenes and poses for each. My kids were not having it and she was so patient, and somehow managed to get excellent shots of us. I will cherish them forever! My second shoot was a boudoir shoot at a studio in Benicia. Our family traveled from Wisconsin to California to be part of my brother and his beautiful wife's…read morewedding in 2022. It was so beautiful and such an intimate wedding. Myself, my husband, and our 9 month old son were all in the wedding party. As you can imagine, I was so excited to be able to see all the pictures that were taken. After all, it's not like we were able to take pictures during the ceremony or during all those special moments. People even say it's rude to take pictures during weddings, that's why you pay sooo much money for a photographer, right?! Well, after returning home, we learned the heartbreaking news that Amanda did not back up any of the photos on her computer after deleting them from her camera, her computer crashed, and you can guess what happened....ALL of the photos were GONE!! Who doesn't back up their work?! These are irreplaceable moments. This is so inexcusable and downright terrible business practices. But you want to know the cherry on the top of it all?! She refuses to give my brother and his wife their money back!!! She even had the gall to tell them that she'd only give them their money back if they would take down their review!!! We've bitten our tongues for a long enough. Save your money and do not trust this irresponsible photographer with your most precious moments. I understand things happen, but she has not handled this in any sort of professional way. This is honestly the most absurd thing that I have ever heard of and your actions for not backing up your work and how you've handled everything since have been egregious!!! They have been more than patient for the last two years, trying to recover photos and figure out a way to get this rectified and have not received anywhere close to an acceptable resolution. You would get zero stars if I was allowed. And I will post this all over again if I have to. Do not trust Amanda Marie Photography!!
