I brought four outfits from home, but ended up borrowing from the studio one amazing piece. Along with shoes and jewelry this studio was stocked. Christina the owner and photographer was so talented. I never felt rushed. She did not seem like she was in a hurry. She made sure I was positioned to be the most flattering and would help me adjust things as needed. Once my session was over, she explained to me the process for getting my album. She gave me options for the cover and let me choose the photos I wanted in the album. Along with that came a flash drive with all of my photos taken on the day. Within two weeks my album arrived at my door and it is beautiful. I would recommend this studio to anyone who might be afraid to do a session like this. I was never uncomfortable and I'm not normally photogenic. This was a great experience!

Truth be told I almost backed out because I was not confident in myself. From start to finish, the makeup, hair, photoshoot and photo selection, I felt at peace and to be honest the most beautiful I ever felt. The main rule was not being able to talk down on yourself, which is hard when your body goes through changes like mine has since being pregnant. This wasn't just an experience, it was a life lesson to take home with me The experience is what women need, and myself needed. I went in with my outfits and mind as an open canvas. I gave Bianca full control to do her magic with me and she absolutely killed it! I loved how I looked and couldn't believe the photos without a filter or anything (even the few she took on my camera). I then moved on to the actual photoshoot, Jiyeon was spectacular. She gives great instructions and makes you feel very comfortable in front of her camera. Definitely not used to being in front of the camera or "strangers" or even on my own really in lingerie, yet I felt so free and comfortable. Has so much fun! After this you get to take a little break and then look at your spectacular photos! Hardest part is deciding which ones to get rid of. Overall an easy 10/10 experience! Highly, highly recommend! She starts with introspective questions about what you want to portray in your photos. She nurtures a healthy body image along the way and makes you feel your best from the inside out. That is truly her magic. The day itself was so special where I got to step out of my normal routine and into the routine of a super model. Andrea and her team had every detail worked out, so I could just relax and go with it. I visited Andrea again to review the photos to choose my favorites. There were too many and I ended up making the book bigger to solve that "problem." The end product is two books (boudoir + fine art) full of beautiful, professional photos. I gifted the book the morning of our wedding day and my now husband was absolutely floored. They now live on his nightstand and we both look at the often. Thank you, Andrea! She was very professional, scheduling a consultation before we even set a date to answer all my questions, go over details, and to set expectations. Leading up to our shoot, we shared a Pinterest inspiration board. I had outside-of-the-box boudoir ideas and Natalia was extremely receptive to capturing something beyond the ordinary. When the day arrived, I got to spend a few hours playing the ultimate dress-up and indulging the fantasy-nerd in me. I felt confident, empowered, glamorous, and alive! (The last time I felt a need to do something similar, I got a tattoo). However, this time I wanted to celebrate the moment in an entirely different way. At first I thought, boudoir photos? Hmmm....a little tacky, full of boa feathers and cheesy poses, right? But the Daily Candy blurb was compelling enough for me to look at Lolo's website and I liked what I found. As another reviewer has written: sensual, timeless, natural, coquettish and most importantly, classy while revealing the true essence of the subject (or so it seemed). I knew instantly that this was what I wanted, and arranged an initial consultation to explore the idea further. As soon as I met Lolo and saw her studio, I knew I would follow through. She has lots of fun settings and props and costumes. And you can shoot in her studio or in her barn (yes, imagine me, being photographed in a barn!) However, I was like a little girl playing dress up, and it was such fun! And you can even bring your own items from home....from jewelry to lingerie to your favorite dresses and shoes.....as much or as little as you want. I have a vintage 60's ballgown (think Breakfast at Tiffany's) which I have always wanted to be photographed in, in really fun, whimsical poses. As you can probably imagine, my shoot was an absolute blast (albeit a tad cold in the barn). And I loved the champagne, chocolates and ginger biscuits that helped sustain me throughout the 5 hour shoot. :-) Lolo is a great photographer to work with and I can't wait to see my pics! Update 3/8/07: I absolutely LOVE my photos. They turned out even better than I could possibly imagine. Lolo is an exquisite photographer, and captured me in my many moods. From the beginning, Lisa was so amazing. She responded promptly to my inquiries via email and was able to schedule a session based off of my work schedule. She followed up with me before the session, making sure to answer any and all of my questions and also providing me with some ideas. They did my hair and makeup amazing and it was really nice getting to talk with Lisa and getting to know each other before starting the session. During the session, she made me feel like a model.
