And I am so glad I did. My grandson who has ADHD, and tends to be very anxious was in need of a haircut. He has been to other salons that he swears has been cut by other barbers. Knowing this, I instructed Selena, his stylist to be cautious when cutting his year old locks. Not only was she gentle, she joked with him and was so good with his anxiety. His cut was excellent. And he even said he loved the new haircut. For someone who does not know the area, I am very pleased to have found this small shop. They're not very consistent with their work & had a few different girls do my hair. They will come up with some new excuses of extra charges or extra things they had to do to your hair. So when they finished with your hair, and then you go to the cash register to pay. If you are the type of person that doesn't want to make a scene after receiving the amount of money that they are asking you to pay... Advice : 1. Always ask what's the price going to be after the plan is made on what they're going to do your hair. 2. If they ask or comment about doing something to your hair at all again ask what is going to be the price. 3. Doesn't hurt to tell them over phone or sitting with stylist, how you plan on only paying a certain amount & no more. 4. Ask them your options on if you're not satisfied with your hair. They'll probably offer to do it again, but if they do it again and you're still not happy they are not going to refund your money. If it's not a minor or small fix. She took my home cut () that had grown out to be pretty shaggy and turned it into beautiful cut with face framing and plenty of layers. She took her time and did an excellent job. It took a while, but my hair always takes a long time because it takes forever to dry and it's long, so blending the face framing and layers requires some extra attention. Salon is nicely decorated and the music wasn't too loud. Some salons blare the music, but this one was very low key.

I can say that I asked for a refund and the girl told me that she would have to talk to the owner to even make that happen most companies when you do a service for a customer and it's not what they asked for they offer a refund apparently that's not the case with this company I would not recommend them!!
