They s*ck, i was the first one in line and they kept me waiting 5 hours and had my poodle in a really small cage. They did not tell me i had to pay more to be first in line. And my dog's hair cut was awful. If you love your dog dont bring them here, they don't care about them. read more

They do a decent job most times The waiting is horrendous My dogs were dropped off at 8:18 am I called at 2 pm and they were still in the crate and their grooming had not started That's 6 hours in a crate Don't know when they will be ready I made an appointment They were one of the first dogs this morning read more

Don't take your dogs here, I took my dog at 7:30 am right when they open to be the first one to get service and they didn't have my dog until 1:30 pm. The reason they gave me after picking him up is that I have to pay more than what I paid, for them to take my dog right away. I show a picture of the style I want it for my dog and they told me it was not possible, when his fur was not in bad conditions, I told them to do the possible to save his fur and they didn't even tried to save my dogs fur they shaved it all, and I had to help them cause they left his hair ugly. The lady who did my dogs fur she didn't even try to put at-least a cute bandanna on my dog she made a crappy piece of ribbons that was shocking my dog, I made her to take it off, 1 paid $87.00 which is overpriced for them to do a terrible job on my dog. read more

Had an Appointment at 12 but my dog was still not done till 5 far to long , our animals have to eat and drink to they shouldn't go that long without food or water or in a cage , if you can't get the dog in at out within a hour and a half then you shouldn't be taking appointments! read more

Don't take your babies here! The "manager" there has an attitude problem with customers that want their dogs groomed correctly. I think my babies were mistreated due to her dislike of me! They're terrible!!!!! read more

Awesome service. The last groomer I took my goldendoodle to had to give him sedatives and they did horrible job. So I was a little nervous about taking him to another groomer. But I was ecstatic when I picked him up he looked great and they told me he didn't give them any trouble. I definitely recommend and will be taking him here for grooming from now on. read more

Melinda's Grooming - Pooky after his spa treatment - Pet Groomers Near Me - Odessa, Texas

This place is absolutely terrible. I took my $5,000 Pomeranian in for just a TRIM and the lady got rid of basically all of my dogs' hair. I guess I should wait until February now for his hair to grow back. So unprofessional I can't believe I paid this much money for them to not listen to a word I said. Absolutely zero stars. read more

My sister took her pomeranian to this location and deep cut his leg and required stitches! Who does that and with 10 years experience really? Negative!!! That's. messed up. I cried just seeing the photo of his injury. This will happen to someone elses DOG . TRUST ME! read more

Melinda's Grooming - Deep cut on his leg & required stitches/10 years experience really? Brought tears to my eyes. Will happen again to some 1 else's dog - Pet Groomers Near Me - Odessa, Texas

I brought my 7 month old shitzu in for a PUPPY CUT expecting them just to clean her up not shave her completely bold !! I specifically asked for a puppy cut not to much off just to make her look clean ... I couldn't even recognize her when I walked in :( I do not recommend this place they don't style your dog the way you want ! read more

I have been using Melinda's grooming for about a year now. The prices are reasonable. The service I have always found to be friendly. My poodle tends to jerk when being groomed but she has never been nicked while there unlike some other places. I understand why they require you to specifically tell them you want your dogs tail groomed but I still find it annoying. Prices are reasonable and they're open on Saturday which is a huge bonus for me. read more

First day chopped up the hair didn't call to let me know they were unable to cut the puppy's hair they just left him in the cage for over 8 hours took him back they said they would fix the hair cut then Charged extra because it took multiple people to "hold down" a shih zhu puppy....and they didn't even trim the nails. I don't think charging extra for doing your job is acceptable. Teddy bear haircut looked uneven. Ears weren't trimmed either. read more

Sadly, what was once the best, is now the worst. I hate to say it, but, it's true. I had my dog groomed by an amateur. Called, spoke to the owner and was assured she had ten years experience. Impossible. Impossible. I took him back, still a shotty job. And the manager, close to as pathetic as possible. I will just do it myself from now on. At least it'll save me $75. read more

You should not have to worry about the life of your dog when you take a young healthy animal to the groomer.

Moved out here a year ago and their summer cuts were perfect. My shih tzu's coat looked luscious and at the perfect short length. We went ahead and added another shih tzu to our family and he also got a perfect summer cut. However, the last few visits have been horrible. My dogs arent cut exquisitely like they were use to. Now they just get COMPLETELY SHAVED which is awful for these breeds with coats that are so intensely looked after. Last week we tried one last time and our dogs were completely shaved again and are in so much discomfort. My female looks like shes uncomfortable sitting, laying down, and just in general. Constant itching from the pups and just bitterness from a dog owner who treats their dogs like family. Please avoid these people if you care for your dogs coats. read more

I've been using this groomers for about six months now for my two shih tzus and I have always been pleased with them. My babies come back looking great with cute bows and bandanas and it never takes them more than a few hours to get both of them done. I will definitely keep using them! read more

I've used them for a while now and they've always done a great job! My Yorkie is squirming but he always looks great. I do take him in monthly and keep him short, but I'm always happy with the job. Anytime I've seen any tiny issues they've always fixed it for free. I recommend them to everyone I know who has a dog and all the people I've recommended to them have always been happy! The people there really know and take care of the dogs and are wonderful. Here are pictures ofe his summer and teddy bear cuts read more

This business is just taking in as many dogs as they can get them loosing track of them and what special instructions was left for each dog yes some dogs have been left there for a many hours and were never groomed when they Had an appointment! I know this as a fact as it happened to a friend of mine little dog! Groomers are good but the staff taking in the dogs needs to be fired! read more

They shaved my French Bulldog's nose and his butt. This is a short haired dog It looks like they washed him with his collar and leash on. Very disappointed in them read more

Very satisfied overall, I have a Lhasa Apso that has been to both petsmart and Melinda's grooming. They take good care of dogs and the ladies seem nice. Way better and more affordable than petsmart. read more

Well I am unable to rate lower than a 1 star. Took little Yorkie, Sophia, in for bath and trim around the eyes and when picked up, she was shaven. Called and complained and Cecilia with pink stripes in her hair said the owner, Melinda said to shave her. $48 on top of that. I would not recomend taking your "babies" here as they apparently are not capable of taking instructions. What a mess! Never again. read more
