We planned, prepped and placed our very detailed order two weeks in advance of our planned event. Apparently, they only have one chef and NO BACK UP PLAN. Chef was "sick" and they canceled on is with only 24 hours notice. Totally unprofessional! If you plan on booking with Dash of Salt, make sure you have a Plan B. You never know when they may cancel on you.

I have had the brownie and the chocolate croissant- both were good. The food is delicious and fresh, and the prices are reasonable for the area. There have been a few surly employees over the years, including a guy who insisted he had given me sour cream with my quesadilla when he definitely gave me salad dressing. Those occasions have been rare, though, and I generally have had pleasant experiences with the staff.
