Definitely gives the Acer Arena at Sydney's Olympic Park a run for its money. Although the Acer arena is also fantastic; wait until you get invited to a conference or an event at the Hisense arena, and you will be blown away by the sheer size and the ample sound quality that this high quality conferencing facility has to offer.
it is nothing overly fancy, yet if you are wanting a great time out; this facility help to make the magic happen. It is so close to Richmond station, and to any of the trams that will take you back to Flinders Street within minutes. Love the great architecture, and it is easy to get in and get out with an abundance of restroom facilities along the various doors that you can enter.
It is large, and the flooring (neither the seating that matter) is not overly exciting; however if you are out to see a rock band; or even to listen to a seminar for that matter: you are in for a real treat. The sound quality is extremely excellent, and it really travels. I believe the arena also opens up to includes matches as part of the Australian Open in addition to the Rod Laver Arena. read more
