HE IS THE PERSON WHO HELP US TO FIND THE HOUSE JUST WITHIN THE 2nd OFFER in NICE AREA! My husband and I met Franky at one of the open houses in Washington DC. At that time, we didn't have any idea about the home-purchasing process. Even Though we searched online, we still got lost since we didn't know what the first step was and what our priority was. Franky helped us to understand the overall process, and encouraged us to think about our future life to set the goal of home-purchasing. Even Though we were not his clients at the moment, he gave us a 1-hour presentation of the whole process with the pamphlet. When we decided to go with Franky, he tried his best for us to find our FIRST HOME with some of our considerations. Since both of us work full-time, he made house-tour appointments or meetings (regarding making offers) after work hours.     Think twice before applying to rent a unit listed by Mr. Beharry. I found a home that he listed…read morethat I was interested in renting. I have a 40 pound dog. The rental listing said that they accept large dogs. I went and visited the site and spoke with an Exit Right employee who told me that the dog was acceptable. Based on this information, we paid $76 to apply to rent the home, only to get a rejection letter that the dog was over the weight limit. I have tried reaching out to this company to find out why we weren't informed of the weight limit before sending them our money, our paystubs, our bank statements, and our W2s. Mr. Anthony Beharry then went in, changed the rental listings to reflect the weight limit, and responded stating that the weight limit is listed in the rental. Mr. Beharry and his whole team are scammy, underhanded, and disrespectful of your time and money. Find someone else.

    If I could give less than 1 star I would. It is not a surprise to me at all that her ratings are so…read morelow and yet she finds a response/excuse/blame to every single one of the reviews. My husband and I found a place to rent in Towson, MD and she was the property management. From the start, we could tell that Sherry was not only very rude, but was very unprofessional. The next two years consisted of ignoring our emails and requests concerning the property we rented and she was managing. She would ONLY respond when she needed something of us. Her excuses for not responding for months at a time included "its my birthday," "my computer is getting fixed," and multiple other ridiculous ones. She tried to walk into our rental (without knocking/ringing the doorbell) while we were home hours before she told us she'd be there only to realize she LOST the rental's key. She is so reckless with people's keys and SAFETY. Adding to all of this, my husband and I have lived in rentals for 5+ years (while we were in residencies/training) and have never had our deposit taken away but have been wonderful tenants. When it came to our final walk through, she told us EVERYTHING looked great, texted, and messaged us how clean the house is and how appreciative her and the owner is for how clean the house was left. Only to find out months after we moved, that she took out half of our deposit for finding "grease smudges" on the oven and charging us $500 for "finding hair" in the vents for our hypoallergenic/non-shedding dog (when the previous owner had a cat). When we asked for receipts and pictures, she ignored all our emails and messages. DO NOT HIRE HER! She is unprofessional, reckless, rude, and not an honest person.

Since the property had been listed for almost 2 months we thought it was appropriate for us entertain price negotiation and inquire if our small dog would be allowed. Sherry's response was for us to submit an application and she would present it to the owners; once both parties agreed upon a rental price, then we would run our credit. Side note: Sherry told our agent that there are no other applications in hand at the time. We submit all required financial documents and applications the next day. A couple days later Sherry informs us that we have been denied due to not meeting the financial requirements. This denial was an absolute shock to us because our joint income was well above the minimum household income listed. We politely suggest she reviews our application once again. Long story short, Sherry only looked at the first page of our application and denied us from just one of our incomes instead of looking at our entire application. After moving past the income requirement obstacle, we still had not received an answer about our dog being allowed or price negotiation. Sherry avoided our questions, never answered her phone for our realtor, and only communicated through text or email. Sherry FINALLY responds and says she will have to reach out to the owners of the property. So once again, we patiently wait for the next steps. She FINALLY gets back to us and says our dog is allowed, but we have to complete a pet screening application that she would send. She also says the owners will not negotiate price until our credit is checked. We are so confused at this point because Sherry told us our credit would not be checked until we agreed upon a rental price. But we absolutely loved the house so much that we decided to allow for the credit check to be completed so we could move forward. Now, we have to wait for Sherry to send us the credit screening approval & pet application. She FINALLY sends the credit screening approval to my email, but my boyfriend did not receive his. We consistently told her, he did not receive it and if she could please double check if she sent to the right email. Long story short, she had been misspelling his email for the last 3 DAYS and I was the one who discovered it. I literally had to send her a screenshot proving to her she was sending it to the wrong email. We finally got our credit screening completed (each of us had to pay $40), but I still had not received the pet screening application. We reached out to her again about not receiving the pet screening form and her response, "just go online and link your dog to the rental address." I didn't want to delay this process any longer because at this point we are going on 2 weeks trying to apply for this house. I went online, completed the pet screening application, which was an additional $20, and sent it to Sherry's email. Side note: there was no way to link my dog to the rental address without a specific realtor link that should have been provided by Sherry. Our credit and pet application is approved and now we can FINALLY talk price (Side note: it is now week 3 of this process). Long story short, we finally come to an agreement on monthly rental price with the owners and we can finally sign the lease. On Tues. (7/21/20) we were told by Sherry that she would send the lease to us tonight or tomorrow. Then, on Wed. (7/22/20) Sherry said she wanted to review the lease with us in person and asked what time worked best for us. We proposed to meet her on Sat (7/25/20), but never received time confirmation. On Friday night (7/24/20) at 7pm Sherry called our realtor from an unknown number & left a voicemail saying, the owners accepted another application they received this Wednesday who have a 8/1 move-in at full rental price. We were never offered the chance to counter offer even though we were the first applicants. We now have a hard inquiry on our credit reports & out $100 in app fees for absolutely nothing. Interesting how this property has been on the market for 60 days and suddenly another application gets reviewed and accepted within 3 days, when it took us 3 weeks. Long story short, we are another "young brown couple" who were unfairly treated by Sherry Young
