So glad I found this on my trip! I do not use OTC products and was afraid of running out of my YL products.

There is a spectacularly diverse selection of clothing, art, and collectibles on hand with something wild and eclectic for any taste. This beautifully curated shop has the most unique finds from greeting cards to paper crowns--all among exquisite clothing pieces that you wouldn't be able to find at big box stores. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Not only does she curate her shop, but I feel like she takes the time to get to know the folks who come into her shop and make them feel like a part of a community. The staff has always been patient and willing to take out multiple pieces of jewelry from their cases even when I'm taking a long time to decide. I think a LOT when I shop, and I appreciate that I don't feel rushed to make a decision and leave. Shopping should be an experience: part art, part curiosity, and a dash of serendipity. This shop is not for those who want to get in and out without admiring. Because there's plenty to admire and you might even find the piece you've been missing all your life. P.s. you might even be lucky enough to spot a corgi or border collie during your time here (Spotted one May 2019)!

It's a joke if you think limiting the amount of people inside is doing anything when it's packed inside with people on top of each other. I can see it if you were enforcing all the rules but this is ridiculous.

There were no marked prices on the jeans so I took several pairs to the associate by the dressing room and asked her if she could tell me how much they were. She told me that they start at 19.99 and go up and that there was no way that she could tell how much each pair was and that I would find out at the register. What???!!! So, after deciding which pairs of jeans I wanted, I had to get in another line at the register just so they could scan them to find out the prices, so then I could decide if I wanted to pay that much for the jeans??! THAT DOESN'T WORK!!! People base much of their decision to purchase items on prices. It should be clearly marked or there should be a scanner that the customers can use or associates should be willing to find out the prices for their customers. We shouldn't have to get in another line for the register to find out how much something costs. What if grocery stores and department stores did this?! The associate (I think she was the manager because she seemed like she was in charge) was unapologetic for their dumb policy. Ugh!!!

The first time I went in, I was not greeted and the employee on shift was sitting on the counter on her phone watching videos, then when I asked for a fitting room she said they close they're dressing rooms an hour early before close to sanitize them. If that was the case I wouldn't have cared, but I've been in before and been able to try things on even 20 minutes before closing. Then today 5/4/23 I went in looking for a dress and spent less then five minutes in there because I wasn't once again not greeted and the employee could not get off her phone! Keep in mind there were a handful of customers in the store besides me, it was also a bit awkward with no music because it was so quiet but I can't be too upset with that. After I had asked a few times with no response about a necklace I had enough and decided to spend my money elsewhere, I hate leaving bad reviews but this has happened on more than one occasion and it's getting old! No one knows good customer service anymore! If I decide to continue to shop at down east I will take the minor inconvenience to go across the street!!

They've got everything from linens, to clothing (not an enormous selection of clothing here), to incredibly interesting and unique furniture pieces! I talked to one of the sales people and they said the closest location to me (Los Angeles) is in Vegas. :-/ Well, I'm going to drive over there with a truck and go to town! They don't have a website for ordering furniture. :-( Their pieces are made unique and inexpensive for this store. The quality is good, not flimsy by any means. They also told me that they are a distributor for a larger retailer. I'll bet they jack the price way up for that retailer. Pottery Barn? I'm not sure.
