First, Helen tried to identify the parts we required before assigning the job and even had us text her (to her own personal phone) a picture of the inside of the toilet. Then, she dispatched a gregarious and skilled technician to do the work. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and told us why we needed what he was replacing. During and after his work, he chatted at length with us and we found him to be quite amiable. He is from "the islands" (think St. Kitts and U.S V.I.) and has quite an outgoing personality. We wouldn't use anyone but Caputo Plumbing if this is the type of person he hires. By the way, Ozzie has 30 plus years of experience in every aspect of plumbing, not just ordinary calls like us.

Ends up the water inlet valve corroded and stopped the water flow. He replaced it at what I originally thought was a high price. I thought it would be covered eith the hitcwater heater plan. Nope, warranty Co said I would have needed the inside plumbing plan. Oh well. I checked with my regular plumber and he said the price was reasonable. So about 25 mins after ironing out all the facts, I had hot water again. The old Rheem water heater is still going strong 17 years later. I woukd use them again.
