CVS has made it easy to pick up prescriptions with their app. You just present the q code and they do the rest. The ladies working on the drive through window are extremely nice. And I like that the Pharmacist take notice of what you are taking and if any new drug could be contradicting. It's comforting to know they have your back. And I don't find their prices higher than anywhere else. I have trued a lot too. I think the convenience is a plus too.

More than once I've had these experiences along with general rudeness at times from staff members Bob and Michael. I reported these two staff members to the store's customer service line and the store manager and not to my surprise, nothing was done about it. Plus the manager had an attitude when I addressed my concerns with her and made excuses for their behavior. So I stopped shopping there and moved my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

He lied to my surgeon telling him he had a copy of a pain contract which cant be true because I dont have 1 of those!!! I had surgery & he filled 1 prescription & then only filled half of the 2nd one & has refused EVERY single prescription for my chronic pain medications with excuses of insurance wont pay, needs a prior authorization, dr needs to explain to him why I need these medications (which led to the lie of a pain contract) so 9 days after a double hand/arm surgery I was left with no pain medications because of Matthew & his judgements. To make it even more irritating the automated phone system told me each time that the pharmacy was now open and my script was ready. Went in today to try again and they had put my medicine back on the shelf. When I explained to them the situation the rep as the window got a major attitude and kept repeating "our hours are 9-5." Wouldn't elaborate, wouldn't say anything but that when I asked them to pull it now. This was at 4:30 btw so again, well within their hours. I can't even get them to transfer the script to a proper pharmacy so now I have to go to my doctor and get them to send it elsewhere. This place has always had an understaffed pharmacy but this has become too much. I don't take this stuff for fun, I need it to live my life, and Walgreens clearly couldn't care less. Not only have they lost a pharmacy customer today but I'm done coming here for convenience items as well. The way things are going they will probably close soon anyway so I doubt anyone cares about my patronage.

When trying to explain my…read more2.5 year experiences of getting the same specialty drug (specialty implies ordered from specialty pharmacy that is shipped to the store, nothing major) and then needing to ask more questions, he hung up on me. I was told my drug was there at the store (phone message left by a pharmacist) and then when my family member went to get it the family member was told it was not there. He said he has "20 years of experience and knows everything" but clearly has no customer service skills. I would suggest not going to this location if you have to deal with Ed. He is confrontational when you are just trying to explain the issues. After he hung up, I tried to call back to get his name as he did not even introduce himself as the pharmacist the first time he answered the phone . He put me on hold for 30 minutes after I tried to call back to get my questions answers and then was again rude. I will be pulling all of my medications from this location and would advise not going here. I had no problems for 4 years of getting medications at this location but Ed is clearly not fit to be in his position with how he speaks to customers. I also reported him to Walgreens and will be talking to the store manager tomorrow. Ed needs to go back to school for customer service 101. I will say there is normally a really kind, young pharmacist there who was very helpful when I started a medication and it's a shame I was stuck with someone so disrespectful today. Uhhh don't send me an email telling me they're ready unless they are ready. My guess is they were ready and this kid didn't feel like finding them. Customer service you only get from shopping local…read more I have been trying to get a rx filled for over a week, and my usual pharmacy (CVS) let me know they had supply issues and that they wouldn't be able to fill it for 3 days... then 4... then 5, etc. So I called around and other pharmacies said the same. Costco, Walmart, Kroger. My dr suggested I try a local pharmacy but warned me they would likely not accept my insurance. So I tried Geist; i needed my medication and it is pretty close to my house and work. Thank freaking goodness i did. 10000/10. Not only did they have the rx in stock (woo woo), but they also stopped everything they were working on to fill it right then, they took their time getting to know me and my needs, and they went above and beyond to make sure my insurance accepted it. Btw- cvs has my insurance for all my other prescriptions and they still didn't apply it to this rx. Like what?? It was truly one of those moments where I felt like I was in a hallmark movie or something I didn't realize customer service still existed, and I love that I didn't have to talk to an AI operator for 10 minutes to get my rx filled. I will be using them for all of our family's rx needs moving forward.
